1. Weigh your luggage before going to the airport so that excess luggage doesn't come as a surprise.
2. No need to pack so much foodstuff, you can buy them here in African shops.
3. Your COPR, passport and POF document should be in your hand luggage.
4. If possible, select a seat infront inside the plane. This will help you get to the immigration officers on time and avoid the long queue.
5. No pack meat, chicken, fish or milk to avoid stories that touch.
6. Remember to pack all your certificates, relevant documents and Driver's license because DHL from Naija is pretty expensive.
7. If you're a lady, buy lots of undies. 1 bra here is like 6K Naira
8. You can pack some biscuits and snacks to munch on inside the plane, some people don't really like the food served onboard
9. Book your Air bnb before you travel, to avoid being stranded.
10. And lastly, have a safe trip!

There are two possible solutions. 1, chill and wait for them to send the mail, which they ll still do. 2, go to pg school and make a complaint. I chose the second option and it paid off.

Pls i need help o.i av completed my form and locked up since july.did ept and saw my test results also but yet to receive any eligibility mail.my transcript has also reached pg school since late july but not reflected on my application status.is there anybody in similar situation or anyone with advice on what i can do.

Im planning to apply for msc nursing but from the above post i dont know what to do.meanwhile i av other concerns
The transcript label..should i fill it by hand after downloading to submit to my school to insert in transcript envelope.
Secondly, are professional refrees accepted i.e workplace refrees as i have left school for a while and most of my lecturersate gone,
Does anyone know when the rain semester starts and if nursing is included amongst rain semester courses.

If the both certificates/degrees are from same school and you're sure you can realistically follow it to a logical conclusion,evaluate both.
But if you're sure it will be difficult to follow both at the same time,I will advice you should evaluate the highest degree at of the two.
Nonetheless,evaluating both will give you an additional one point even though it may take longer to finish evaluation if you are not able to follow it on your side.

From my experience evaluate your degree alone then attach ur diploma to cic en submitting educational certificates.

Just go straight to business. You schooled between that period only. Your 2000-2004 is the correct way because of the available space.

Write the year duration together .....don't split into semesters or sessions.
2000 - 2004 ; studying in University is fine.

It all depends on your age. If you are in the age range 18-28, follow the clause 'since the age of 18' else, the clause 'in the last 10 years' will make more sense. On the other question, go with the second pattern starting from the current date to the old dates and ensure there are no gaps. For example: Jan 2004-October 2014 sold rice for mama Basira, October 2002- August 2003 worked with Google as a phisher. You can see that there was no account for Sept 2003 till December 2003. Please, don't allow for such as it will make them return your application. Hope I have answered your questions satisfatorily?

omasa: Nothing else was stated oh.just that its equivalent is 3 yrs hosp study and training.major in nursing and all dat.I actually called wes to explain to me and they said its wat they evaluate hosp based nursing skulls as. Let's assume its a cert program wat points do u tink dat is.although dats not wat I wish.

Id say 19 points since its a post secondary cert at least it shouldnt be 15 points.nd it may even be 21 points but keep ur mind on 19 nd make up ur points elsewer just to be safe.
Mine was evaluated as four years canadian nursing degree although it was 5 years here.just hope for the best and dont forget its better to calc lower than them than to be higher.tak care

Your reply lies in what the evaluating body sends to u and ur comparism with ECA conversion table.u cant use someone else's.that is to say if wes evaluates rn rm as nursing training nd study two years i think it means 2years post secondary school cert on canadian educ.then check how many points dis gives u on the conversion table.
Nurses who have evaluated RN RM may have a more perfect answer.this is just my understanding because i evaluated my graduate nurse cert.

seunlovesa: Were you giving them a little " push" @ Lagos offive or Abuja? I am using ICAS for my ECA and they updated my status that an email has been sent to NMCN. Not sure if a "reply email " from NMCN would be okay or I would have to initiate the normal verification process ...... Do you have any clue?

NMCN does verification which u av to pay for 8750 per certificate.so u will need to go there or ask someone to do on your behalf.

seunlovesa: Hello, has any REGSITERED NURSE done verification with NMCN recently? How long did it take them to send the verification to ECA evaluating body?

It takes a while although they gave me 4 weeks from the date your credentials reaches them from the evaluating body.you have to keep going there and be sure to know when it gets to them.they will need a little push.it was when i went repeatedly that they started looking for the mail or letter wes sends to them.

2.I'm sure there will be a centralized branch in Abuja where it canned done .You may also call Gtbank customer care line for guidance.
3.Small envelope will do.......Infact ,you can just put it in the overall envelope like that.......no issue.
