We learn everyday. I ask a friend of mine just last week the reason for the white smoke he said the white smoke stand for peace. He said when an aircraft is flying above a troubled state or country(country like Nigeria with boko haram wahala), they release the white smoke. Thank for this info.

As we awaits this year's admission list, it is expedient we all come to the knowlege of this facts

1. Unilorin has stated that just about 12,000 candidate out of about 36,000 candidate that partook in her screening exercise will be admitted.....so the remaining candidates will have to huh

2. 64% of the candidates scored above 50, a percentage that is even above the average so you should know the numbers you are jostling with

unilorin being a well known and highly sought after institution of learning should have a group to bring all aspirants and even students together for the purpose of sharing informations and updates on the ongoing admission processes......so after a long search through the nairaland education thread i discovered such for this year is not yet existing so i decided to create this.

It has happened to my cousin.
His wife was expecting about 1 million from UK, and things were hard that time. After some days , she saw an alert about of 1.2m . They withdraw the money and spent it on projects they were working on. 2 weeks later, got a call from her bank that there was a mistake of wrong deposit. Same surname, initials, but different middle name and account number.
She was confused. The bankers later fixed a date to visit. So they negotiated after more meetings to pay back in installments without additional charges or so because the bank acknowledged that it was their fault. So they gave her , I think 3 months, while documents were signed. That was union bank ,I think, though long time ago.
So it depends but if you refused, they may take serious action against you and end up in jail.

this is exactly how the bank will negotiate with you because they know and acknowlege their fault
