Am I to send my original legalized documents to the school or a copy of the original legalized documents? 2. IELTS is compulsory.
You can submit it anytime within the application window.

You can apply with normal documents. But once they respond to you. You have to send legalized docs to JKU within 3 weeks to a month after their request.

Send to Ministry of Education. Pick up there. Then authenticate

University of Salzburg will give you an offer before legalization, but you will only be sent your admission letter after sending them your legalised documents.

Here's what to do:
Send an email to the admission office asking them for preliminary evaluation of your documents (attach every document needed for admission in the email) if you would be given admission to your course in their school before you start legalization process. They will evaluate it and let you know their decision and any other condition that your admission comes with.

For masters. Ensure you authenticate and verify everything possible. To avoid regrets because you won’t want to pay verification fee twice

Contact your schools first via email and guide them to respond to the MOE provided emails.
Follow up to ensure you get the date of their response. You’ll need that date at the ministry.

You can verify all(father mother and 3 children). Then legalize the documents when you need them.

I am a married man and wish to start to process going for a master degree. The most confusing part is the document legalization.

So I assumed I will have these documents legalized.

Questions:
For my Degree and transcript, will I go to MOE directly or my University first?

Can I consider my family in the application process or I go first and they come later through reunion?

If the above is possible, then I assumed I have to include our marriage certificate and the birth certificate of my wife and kid.

Lemi answer as much as I can.
I am also applying for masters. And currently at the verification stage.

So here’s the thing.
For the degree and transcript , get your school to send an email verifying your certificate to moe emails. They need that before they authenticate your docs.

Also, for Austria , you can go with your family immediately. If you have enough POF and funds for your upkeep and all.

regardless of if you’re going with them now or later, it is advisable to verify all their docs (birth certificates and others) as well as yours together at the embassy(marriage certificate included). Will save you some money, time and stress in the long run

The documents you’ll “legalize” at the embassy depends on the need for it in Austria. So that’s a personal decision.

1. English language proficiency letter works for some schools. Not all. IELTS works for all

2. You can check online for accurate details. I believe circa 15k € for single and 21k€ for couple.
