Just seeing this post. The whole of Imo state including the village called Owerri, there's no where in the state that you shall see this sort of Awka BOULEVARD as shown below.

Onitsha on the other hand is a mega city with 10 lanes superhighways and also the greener pasture for Imolites. So the 2 states no be mate, you hear.

ODI444:
What new thing has happened in Anambra state? Has been dualization of roads in Onitsha and Nnewi? Didn’t you see what Rochas did in Orlu that opened that place?
Has there been clean Anambra state? Traffic around 33 axis is still there. So what has Obiano done? Stop showing what has been shown before. Update or keep quiet.

True talk. Na this statement pained abagworo cheesy

kikake:
Love Anambra political elite for their beautiful state.

Neighboring Imo state has been building Owerri state capital since 1976.

Worse, the once urban Okigwe and Orlu have been abandoned, both carefully relegated to rural areas status.

Owerri people clap for the governors.

Chino someone wrote this and it's quite insightful. Sincerely I was looking for the changes and found it mostly in Abakiliki, Nsukka and Orlu.
[/s]

Hahahaha

I no say this thread dey pepper your body. So you don tag him chino to divert attention. Onitsha is like New York compare to anywhere in Imo state. Nnewi has overtaken Owerri your state capital.

Owerri will continue to look like village when compared to Awka as shown below cheesy

hammer3:
Anambra gas should be utilised in the same way the oil is being harvested in Anambra state for Commercial / Industrial, Refurbishment.

The gas used to develop industrial city with business park, in the areas where it is located, offering Office Administration, Hospitality, Leisure, Resturants, Bars, Malls, Sports and Gym, whilst surrounded by heavy industries.

This includes the entire range of industrial uses from heavy industry to light and food manufacturing industries, as well as facilities for different types of housing, logistics, and necessary infrastructure.

The administrative hearts of the industrial cities or the business parks is the focal point for governmental and private activities.

That is to say, set up heavy industrial zone with 24 hours electricity suppy.

Some of the companies can even bottle the gas for domestic sale as cylinder gas.

I dont know if you are frm anambra, if are, plz with all do respect to anambra ppl, I like you to shut up your dirty mouth bcuz most of you in anambra lack moral ground to talk about Great Ebonyi whether good or bad, again going by your stupid post here I like to respond this way, the Onitsha city that you(anambra ppl) lay claim on today was never your idea, was never built with your money, again how many cars were in onitsha when it was built? but the basic infrastructures were put in place base on prospect, same to lagos & so many other cities, so why is ours a different case if not that you guys are in pains bcuz you ppl never believed wht is happening in Abakaliki today will ever happen,(bt my bro madu abu Chi) you see you dont build shelter during the rain, you build & wait for the rain. Concerning other areas you listed, bros development of ebonyi is totally our responsibility so you hv no right to tell us where to start, so I will advise you to keep quite & think more about how you can cleanse your ppl off their criminal & harlotry appetite

This can only be a curse. So gas connection should be the priority of Anambra state government. Stop giving your advice, it is not needed. Fix your miserable life first with your so called knowledge

[s]
mktinsight:
as in the ground is unusable. Gas needs processing and that costs hundreds of millions of dollars. To process gas they remove impurities, water and pressurize it.
Connecting to the existing gas pipelines should be a priority for Anambra and they should start small by supplying hero brewery and Harbor industrial layout. Let that be phase I.

You are always positioning yourself as the wisest person on earth meanwhile you are just empty and still sitting here on nairaland. Who actually cursed you?

People that actually know something are not sleeping on nairaland but they are out there doing exploits with their intelligence. This must be some sort of a spell.

[s]
mktinsight:
Obj did not build the gas pipeline to SW Chevron built the West African gas pipeline to Tema, Ghana for an Aluminium smelter and Obj connected Ota to it. He also got the Chinese to build two power plants running on gas in Ogun state. That was in 2007.gbo governors watched as all the industries all ran to Ota and Agbara because of the gas pipeline and none of them tried to do anything similar. Abia which has a shell pipeline in Aba has let that city degenerate into a primitive, filthy trading jungle. Imo where the NLNG gas pipeline starts has done nothing except build hotels for Ashawo girls. No industrial layout or plan. Anambra which is 45km from gas pipelines in Imo was building flyover and bridges. Yet it would have cost roughly 200m dollars to build the gas pipeline to Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka something they could have done over 4 to 8 years. Now the Fulani are doing what they know best. Stealing resources under the guise of one Nigeria. Add AKK pipeline to the refinery they are building in Katsina.

B2mario:
Nothing is wrong with the bridge, every story about the bridges and tunnels is propaganda. People were brainwashed not to use the tunnels and bridges that they where constructed with ordinary blocks which is a total lie. At least 50 - 65% of roads shown in the video were constructed by sen. Okorocha.
All you dirty Aba clown does is camping on other people's thread. Come to Abia state thread and discuss about your state, but you kept hiding somewhere.
