“Can you find out if the APC had the portrait of former President Jonathan in their office before he was defeated? That is just it,” he told our correspondent.

When asked whether the party was taking its own pound of flesh, Metuh said no but that since Buhari “is not a member of our party, we won’t put his portrait here.”

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Lai Mohammed, expressed shock at Metuh’s comment.

“This is ridiculous and we have no comment. Let Nigerians judge the PDP on this matter,” Mohammed said.

It was a campaign issue way back that
BUHARI didn't say many words during the campaigns.
PDP took several newspaper ads saying Buhari spoke for only 50 minutes throughout the 35 States he toured while Gej in Lagos alone spoke for 45 minutes.
So, if the man spoke sparingly and promised little or nothing, how is he roped with several promises all of a sudden.

Sure I am disappointed in these latest appointments BUT he will not be judged by appointments rather his performance.

Jonathan had over 60% of his appointees from the South. His own community in Otuoke lacks basic amenities till today despite sixteen years in governance at state and federal level. So, of what importance is appointees region or ethnicity?

My point is, these appointments are not enough for any of PMB's true supporters to regret supporting him. We didn't support him based on where appointees will come from but based on the belief he can get the job done.

PMB had always made his Intendsion clear on the idea that He will develop NE for if NE is developed it inhabitants will not resort to violence by joining BH.... Wat beta way can he hastily do dat by Appointing pipo from NE as COS and SGF....

By d way no real leader of APC can say dat he wasn't informed or consulted.... any person that brands himself/herself as a leader in dis progressive movement and is shocked by dis lattest development that person/leader was a floor member or a Pawn all along......
