Please read... * AN AWESOME MUST READ STORY * APPLES A few years ago a group of salesmen from here went to a regional sales convention in Chicago. They had assured their wives that they would be home in Plenty of time for Friday night's dinner. In their rush, with tickets and briefcases, one of these salesmen inadvertently kicked over a table which held a display of apples. Apples flew everywhere. Without stopping or looking back, they all managed to reach the plane in time for their nearly missed boarding; ALL BUT ONE!!! He paused, took a deep breath, got in touch with his feelings and experienced a twinge of compassion for the girl whose apple stand had been overturned. He told his buddies to go on without him, waved good-bye, told one of them to call his wife when they arrived at their home destination and explain his taking a later flight. Then he returned to the terminal where the apples were all over the terminal floor. He was glad he did. The 16-year-old girl was totally blind! She was softly crying, tears running down her cheeks in frustration, and at the same time helplessly groping for her spilled produce as the crowd swirled about her; no one stopping and no one to care for her plight. The salesman knelt on the floor with her, gathered up the apples, put them back on the table and helped organize her display. As he did this, he noticed that many of them had become battered and bruised; these he set aside in another basket. When he had finished, he pulled out his wallet and said to the girl, "Here, please take this $ 40 for the damage we did. Are you okay?" She nodded through her tears. He continued on with, "I hope we didn't spoil your day too badly." As the salesman started to walk away, the bewildered blind girl called out to him, "Mister...." He paused and turned to look back into those blind eyes. She continued, "Are you Jesus?" He stopped in mid-stride ... and he wondered. He gently went back and said, "No, I am nothing like Jesus - He is good, kind, caring, loving, and would never have bumped into your display in the first place." The girl gently nodded: "I only asked because I prayed for Jesus to help me gather the apples. He sent you to help me, so you are like Him - only He knows who will do His will. Thank you for hearing His call, Mister." Then slowly he made his way to catch the later flight with that question burning and bouncing around in his soul: "Are you Jesus?" Do people mistake you for Jesus? That's our destiny, is it not? To be so much like Jesus that people cannot tell the difference as we live and interact with a world that is blind to His love, life and grace. If we claim to know Him, we should live, walk and act as He would. Knowing Him is more than simply quoting Scripture and going to church. It's actually living the Word as life unfolds day to day. You are the apple of His eye even though you, too, have been bruised by a fall. He stopped what He was doing and picked up you and me on a hill called Calvary and paid in full for our damaged fruit. |

Logicboy03: not always. Some conjoined twins have one twin dying as a baby so the other survivesSuperstition? |
Logicboy03: Good question. I am waiting for the soul believers to answer that one!Bt you made that conclusion in your op! |
Logicboy03:That i agree. I think you suffer from that too. Okay lets call yours Irreligious disorder |
Does conjoined body=conjoined soul? |
Logicboy03: True. But I sleep wellI honestly .doubt that. |
Logicboy03: Why? Were you thinking of me in bed?yes, i had a vision... I hope you know lack/inadequate sleep causes gibberish and confused talk? |
So italo, all other 'christians' are going to hell? |
diluminati: thats why i rarely come here. this place needs a major upgrade, looks staleyou dont say. |
Dude, do you even sleep? |
deebrain: U were not. The op is simply an example of what she criticized. Pathetic.I agree. |
manmustwac: And i wanted to hea your comment, but unfortunatly you decided to comment your reserveLol... The post made some sense, unfortunately, the poster is a 'renewed' hypocrite. |
![]() Logicboy03: Do re mi ifeness: As simple as A,B,C |

inurmind: Nice! Don't know if you are trying to convert me with your gospel stuff but when I was a Christian there were a few songs I really liked. One went like this "what can I do for you my lord", and my best went like this "son of man, son of righteousness".yayy.! Son of man(bless the lord) is a 'best seller'. The guy is simply crazy. So whats your favourite genre? |
inurmind: Why I said most preferably old school, or you can't remember any either? Just write the lyrics, you don't have to post a link.do you like gospel?? Lol. Looks like we made it, look hw far we've come my baby, no matter, we took long way, we knew we'd get there someday, they said, i bet, they'l never make it, bt just look at us going on... We still together, still growing strong... You still the one i love... Oh oh. The only one i need(for life) you still the one i kissed good night... Erm... Thats one of my all time best songs by shania twain. ![]() |
inurmind: Girls and romance, like engine and oil. If you keep talking like this I'm afraid I will not live very long.LOL... I am really backward when it comes to music. The only rap song i knw ir 'coming home'. Bt let me search. |
Logicboy03: Japan is a capitalist country.hmmmn... Shaitan ka yi karya. |
ifeness: Example is 700 cars to oyedepo. Amongst other atrocitiesLike seriously? Not everyone pays tithe. Ok? |
Logicboy03: Wow...I became an atheist before I even knew who Dawkins was. I wonder how many atheists in Japan even know who Dawkins is. Fallacy of equivocation Dawkins = atheism.wow, wow... I thought the japan people are communists? The same communists you and others have repeatedly denied? Not all churches have a pic of Jesus kind sir.. Barbaric middle easterners? Thats racist. I AM NOT A SLAVE. |
ifeness: A slave who doesn't know he is a slave.erm... You knw this how? [as usual, they never learn.] |
Logicboy03: See this hypocrite....the onyl people that claim that there is an almighty is your religious fellows.Lol...calling me a hypocrite coz you're one is dayum funny. Nobody is enslaved unless they choose. I know am not a slave. Speaking of slaves, why dont you go back to paganism(which is what your fore fathers proly practised). Why do you choose to be dawkins slave?? |
kmcutez: No. I just found your post to be funny.oh... You sounded familiar. I just wonder this country has alot of misplaced priority. |
