Indeed, I believed we were called and saved by His grace to fulfilled two purposes: to fellowship with God and be a blessing to everyone around us. Whatever talent, gift, blessing we have on earth is meant to fulfilled these two purposes. But it is so sad that we are found wanting in fulfilling these God-giving purposes. We tend to only bear the name 'christan' without the character of Christ!
Acts 10:26 told us we were given the name christian because the disciples of old were living their life like Christ. My dear brethren, let us beam this our light with a loving intensity and dispel the darkness in the world today!

2) The middle easterners were as barbaric as most of the rest of the world at biblical times

As for you, you know deep down that you are a slave. The next time you go to church, look at the Jesus on the cross and ask why your church has a white European Jesus when we know that Jesus likely had dark skin.
