I want to agree with what you said. I married my husband as a single mum and we've been married for 8yrs then my son was 6yrs. Till now we've not had our own children but this boy has filled the space. people don't know so they just call him daddy Joe, my son bears his name. I don't have any relationship with his true father. I have made my husband be in total control over the boy. He's about to write his senior waec and I can't even come in between these 2 guys (my son and hubby) their relationship is something else. when I become jealous I will tell my son that girls are closer to their dads and boys to their mums. when dey quarrel and I try to put mouth my son will say " mum don't worry I know how to handle my dad"
