You should be able to get them from the Motherlan, i think lagbaja will be playing today,(i am not so sure sha) so its an opportunity, however i am not sure of you getting that first album cos i have searched for that one too with no succes and it is always out of stock even in motherlan, but i got my own copy of C'est Un African Thing (1996) from motherlan.

Can anybody please recommend other great shops where one can get original cd's in this city( lagos), i have been getting my supplies from the the cd shop in the galleria and also the jazzhole on awolowo road for now , but i am sure there must surely be some other great cd shops in lagos.

This baba (Peter King) is one of the most underated, even almost unknown jazz musicians in Nigeria, i was fortnate enough to come across one of his Elpee's some years ago, he just blew my mind with his sound and especially the superb arrangement of of his horns section and the soul filled quality of his sound, i have searched all the nooks and crannies of lagos for his cd's and or elpee's but i have not been lucky so far.

Does anyone know about this Man and how i can lay my hands on some of his recorded works

However! my opinoin is that the hypertek project was a little bit preamture, you need experienced hands to manage such a huge outing to make it a success, peopple with ideas who can criticise constructively and not yes men and all thes hangers on who apparently have run hypertek to the ground,uummm sigh! as for going back to kennis, really i dont know what to say about this, but it may just be the best step now, just to put his music career on track, and projectin into the future , , what about hooking up with a strong record label in the carribean especially jamaica who will be able to give his albums better push, i am saying this because of the strong reggae element in his naija flavour RnB, but at the end of the day ball is in his court anyway.

Overall a Veery tight album,Beat is banging ,well composed lyrics,superb arrangement, and ohh that thumping bass that i just feeel in a lot of the tracks, like in i know u like it,& taboo, not forgetting the the guy that ocassionallly comes in and out doing some harmony shit with wande on vocals, and i disagree that wande's sonorous voice is suited only to slow jams,the funky shit going down in this album is a testimony to that.

This album is already prolly a prime contestant for Naija's album of the year even though we are still in May, but i guess we have to wait and see.

Now, i had forseen this situation in ibadan over a year ago.

Security measures have been tightened in lagos, you find the police in every nook and cranny of the state patrolling(agred a lot still has to be done)its quite logical for criminals to relocate to neighbouring states where the security is relatively lax, i hope the governor will ginger up the police to take the measures to the next level with special focus on trouble areas i.e ( let the police dress up in mufti, and fake car breakdowns on the trouble areas etc etc, wo! so many ideas) but may God help the Nigerian Police.

You know i had not even seen other posts on this thread, i saw the headline, and the word CLASSIC just came to my mind, That Nigga proved me wrong men, used to think he was anuther noisemaker,guess i was wrong then.

I love my eagles but i just ask do we really deserve to win this match based on waht i have seen on the perfomance of these guys so far, wouldn' it be better for us to loose this match so that that there will be a tre-engineering that would ensure the succes of this team in Egypt.
