Ijmb guarantees u 200l but doesn't guarantee u admission

Ur decision should be which will be easier for you, and which is more confirm.

Not all schools accept Ijmb results

For now, imsu, unical, delsu predegree forms are on sale

But I don't understand that IJMB doesn't guarante admission. Do I really have a slim chance of admission compared to pre-degree? Can't I really apply to many universities through Direct entry with the certificate and also apply through JAMB's UTME all at the same time??

IJMB is preferable......you'll gain admission into 200level using IJMB......but for predegree, it's 100level.......... you can also find out about Jupeb, it's an A'level programme too accepted by most universities in the South

Do you know the federal universities in the South that accept the IJMB for medicine&Surgery? And any where I can apply for JUPEB now(...'cos it seems it's mostly done in universities and most of them have released their admission list for the programme this year)??

The knowledge of long-run syndrome is what eludes most of us young minds. We are oblivious of the compound meaning and implication of things and thus absorb them freely and literally. Juvenile Exuberance! Freshman Jerry knew this and gave a sound teaching in his "Where You are is not Enough". He was like Sex is neither an expression of love nor an instrument of a true relationship. The ignorance of this three terms, viz: Sex, Love and Relationship had made many young people victims of various circumstances ranging from sexual abuse,rape, and HIV/AIDS, as well as early marriage, unwanted pregnancy,abortion,proxy of emotional freism,heartbreak,suicide,gayness,lesbiansm,aloneness etc. Most people on the course of acquiring knowledge of Love,Sex and Friendship ended up as victims.

The surprising thing is that there is a cliched view that experience is the best teacher. Wonderful! So,we should be trapped in any of those mishaps so as to learn? Why not we learn from the misfortunes of our predecessors rather than having history become the current affairs.

Team nairaland here's it....
Owing to some circumstances around me,I want to be enrolled into an academic community that will help me out in my admission pursuit. I applied to UNIBEN this year with 245 for Optometry but it seems not to be working out.

Now I have two options,either to apply for UNICAL's pre-degree(that's the only one I know) or to go for IJMB(if you know a SUPER productive centre for it,I'll appreciate).

Which do you suggest to me huh

I'm from Anambra State.

Hello guys, just be careful who u contact with the claim that they could assist u gain admission or help u swap ur name into other departments. I called one woman who I learnt works in admin department. Immediately I called she asked if I was the one who called from okene and I said no. I told her I had a high score but hasn't been admitted. She asked what department I applied for. When I told her she said for those who applied for Medicine, pharmacy, computer science and has not been admitted shouldn't expect their names anymore. She said if I wish she help me swap my name into other department I should send her #5000. She said I must do that today before 2 O'Clock. Immediately I dropped the call I said to my self, I rebuke that statement in Jesus Name.
Do you think she is right?
How could a school conclude admission on a particular department while others are still ongoing?
Please don't fall prey to this as I don't see any iota of truth in that.

How did you even get the number that makes you think she works in the admission block....is it one of those being advertised on the social media or a real number?

You know what? I am a teenager currently applying for admission into higher institution. I'd love to be a lecturer too. My peers ask me to go and read Music because I love it (though I am a science student) but I'm afraid of another career in Music should I be unfortunate to miss my goal of being an academic. Now,I'm opting for Optometry in UNIBEN.

Please do you think I'm getting it right?

I took JAMB this year-- chose Medicine @UNN. And when the result came out, I scored 245. Then, I thought to myself that it was too low for medicine so I applied for Change of course and institution. I changed to UNIBEN and altered my choice of course to Optometry.
Now,the first list is out and I'm not there....
Please is there any alternative that will still place me this year... Though I haven't lost hope o...just taking my time.

Hello learned nairalanders. My former choirmaster requests that I open an account for him at Sterling Bank with the details with which I opened an account with First Bank. He said he wants to use it for Bank MoneyGram. He has taken my BVN because he said he wanted to make sure it was valid.

What I'm afraid of is if the BVN I revealed to him will pose any harm to my account and myself. Again,what possible danger can this whole thing get me into? What do I do to avert it??

This is a superb composition from a highly concerned citizen. Like it is rightly stated, "we are on our own in this country". The idea,even though so many people label it as controversal, is quite implementable. Chinua Achebe said that "when the people are determined...." You see--determination,unity of purpose,sincerity etc are all we need to execute this because in the long run,everybody will be a beneficiary directly and/or indirectly.
My dear,you have a salient point that could be harnessed to yield maximum output as DEVELOPMENT.
