If you mean for this year's admission, cut off marks for UTME students are not even out let alone any admission list. Just chill....

My dear, retirement does not depict incompetence. It only means that one has come of age in service, unless when it is pronounced as "compulsory retirement" to mean a forced retirement due to misconduct. If you had advocated for effective and "free" judiciary, you'd have sounded cool.

Your chances are quite too low here in UNICAL. Cut off mark for last year was 296. Ogun is neither in the catchment nor ELDS. Unless you're able to hit up to 350 in the PUTME, otherwise don't choose it.

And the ambassador at large letter can't even have good construction of English. Fake News!

You can, depending on how well PUTME goes with you. UNICAL for the last two years had pegged the general cut off mark as 150. Hence, you're eligible to give a try.

Past questions? They do have but I doubt any question gets repeated unless you have access to that of CBT. Meaning: the past questions floating is that of when the school was doing a PPT thing. Now, they've changed method and also question pattern. Thus, if you're able to get that of last year and last two years, you might laugh in the hall

Hmm... Nobody actually checks your name before admission, (I understand the wit though).

Akwa ibom, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Cross rivers are given special considerations under catchment, though the cut off for each of them might differ.

Still it is. I'm from South-east yet was considered on merit for Dentistry and Dental Surgery. Medicine and Surgery: they cut 296 as the merit. Thus, less than most federal varsities.

However, UNICAL is good at observing the ELDS and Catchment things such that most states under that consideration get lower cut off generally and respectively, and yet a "subsidised" and perculiar cut off for each states of such calibre which, in this case, also appears under catchment.

Besides, their PUTME is usually easy to pass for people that understand.

Now, which state are you from?

Think about UNICAL. Better if you're from ELDS or any South-South state.

Seriously, brother, I feel sad and pity that you went through all that for your vision yet wasn't allowed to complete it now. This is the bad side of our nation, hence your doubts.

I must confess, I've not heard a story like this until now. And to even think you'll be invited to Abuja(if you don't reside there) gives me course to question the authenticity of the form and all that. I only believed that hence your name appeared on the manual list, which supposedly has your picture therein, you're be made to fill the form and captured for further checks. However, it's sad the system isn't that way.

Again, I think, asides other things I ain't aware of, that the only way such an issue could pop up is irregularities upon registration. I want to believe that when you thumbprinted, you confirmed on the screen that it was successful. The cybercafe attendant could make mistakes.

Nevertheless, the only way to this, in my opinion, is either you wait on, preserving your phone number and E-mail too(cos your Reg No. was collected)

Or, you step out to their zonal offices within your reach to tender another complaint, making sure you see the coordinator or top officers that may have valid answer or opinion to this trouble. The hardest is to visit the headquarters in Abuja, especially if you have a literate older person that can accompany you. However, I believe you were given a means of recognition, like something to present to that effect. Or, that it's indicated in the manual list that you attended but couldn't write owing to technical hitches.

You see, this is what makes here Nigeria. I pray you receive justice.

I only think about "Local Government of Origin". The cost depends on your local government workers. Normally, you're supposed to pay for the stamps only, but exploitation is real everywhere.

Edo falls under Catchment; obviously, your chances are better than anyone from South East.

By the way, I'm from the Eastern part of the country, not within Catchment, not within ELDS. Purely on merit and it worked without man-know-man; Most of my colleagues I've had a chat with, too. So, I think the bribery thing is similar to every "Nigeria" school you hold at high esteem. They adhere to the published cut off marks, and theirs is unique in my opinion.
