yes u can.let me give u a little gist.i once had nokia E75 i h@cked the fone,later on i decided to upgrade the fone via OTA.The h@cked fone was still installing software perfectly.There was a day i decided to format the fone using *#7370# after which the fone refused to be h@cked using same method like b4.I used another powerful method to h@ck d fone.
Summary of the gist: pls don't format your fone after upgrade ok.

Am going to load 1k next and get that 200mb data free. Mtn made billions this year, is it difficult to allocate a few to upgrade their data network

@Gsmxpart, av done as u said, bt wen i get to d stage of selecting the network of d sim i inserted which is mtn ng, it says dt ''d device is unable to connect to the selected network.''
i even had to put etisalat ng, bt stil gt the same reply, plz, thanks for d effort so far, bt i stil hope for more.

@ uthamaputi, av already tried d website, bt it was askin for money, or do u knw another way around it dt will be free?

@deji2009, thanks for replyin. After the format, i recovered through my HP Recovery internal disk. It was only d main memory that was formatted. The remote was workin parfectly before the format.
Can you be a little more elaborate. I do nt really understand the directive you gave me.

hello nairalanders, is id advisable to update my firmware personally,
and which is beta in its updating, using ovi suit or my phone,
or is there any beta way.

Dragnet, i appreciate ur effort solving my phone wahala.
u are suggesting that the only way the problem can
be resolved is through updating d firmware.
Is there any side effect abt d upgrading. Any hidden complication.

The free memory of phone is 208 MB while 51MB is in use. The size of memorycard is 4GB which is d one it came wit while 528MB is free of it.
What will i do for it to stop hanging.

Can updating d firmware be of help. The current firmware is 031.023.
