greenhulk: U still don't need a menu key. I don't need this app but I just downloaded it to see what the problem is. Just press and hold ur back button for a few seconds and u will see the menu. It works like that on my Samsung phone without menu key. I just did as you suggested, but still no menu, Thanks for the effort. |
Phones › Re: Tecno Boom J8 Discussion Thread by bennito: 9:45am On May 05, 2016 |
greenhulk: There are no android apps that rely entirely on physical menu keys. Google already ditched those menu keys since android 4.0 ICS. Even Samsung that kept using those keys have ditched them since the s5. If u are having problem with an app then there is something u are not doing right. thats the app am having issues with. It's Talking Clock. Maybe there is something am not doing right, will be glad to be put through. |

Darkseid: Did you finally find a way to fix the screen responsiveness? It's really annoying. as time goes on, it gets better. Now the screen is quite responsive unlike the first 2 days of usage. Also endeavour to run update after charging for first time. |

Sapalo007: What can you say about the screen responsiveness? LORDCYBORG: I use tecno j8 and so far the only dissapointment i have experienced is with the camera and earlier on the battery, but the battery is okay now. as for the screen its very responsive. The speaker is very good in closed spaces but when outdoors not so loud. Used the phone for like one week now, the first two days was quite disappointing as to the screen responsiveness, but as time goes on, it gets better. Presently the screen is quite and very responsive. It's a lovely phone I must admit. About the camera, to me the camera is very clear. The only problem am having wit the phone now is the soft keys does not have "menu" so some app with no menu key can't be operated |

Just bought the phone yesterday being Friday, I must say that am a bit disappointed as to the screen responsiveness. Quite irritating sometimes. Have to press some button twice or more before it responds. For those that are using it, is there any solution to the screen responsiveness issue. Another question is about the soft keys, is there a way of adjusting the settings so that recent key brings up options for the app, while long pressing home key brings up recent tasks. If I may ask again, is there any whatsapp group for the phone yet, if yes, please add 08039598611 & 07051757195 |

udemzyudex: Are u not using Glo bis on Android?
When in 2g,nothing like that will happen except on 3g... It's Glo bis Bro, remove that Glo sim and try any other network, u will see that ur GPS won't on...
Beause of this issue I flash my stock rom twice....... I know what I'm talking about, even my friends using Glo bis are also experiencing same thing..
Believe it or not. It's not about Glo Bis but Glo Data services. Ain't using Bis, but normal sub, once on 3g, and connected, it will activate gps. |

queenfav: Please don't lead people astray,I did my law sch in enugu..from holy ghost to shoprite was like 100 naira or more, can't remember the exact amount. The least fare u pay for bus is 50 naira. Some places u pay 200 sef. Bros you can lie ooo. Am based in Enugu. Transportation is quite on the low side (with bus though) But if na via drop, then they might have charged you a such. Holy ghost to shoprite is 30 naira, if you bargain well, they fit collet 20 self, but if na drop either with Keke or cab, that one depends on your bargaining strength. |
