From the topic you brought up, I only believe decision is a major factor in becoming one. Talking about what we can choose and what we can't choose, the weight of our decision will be known after its been tested and tried. The choice you've decided on will only make sense if you maintain it after it's gone through the fire. Some do it for money, some depending on the circumstances they find themselves and not because they desire it. That's why Christians attach the grace of God to everything because they know after they've made a very sound moral decision, they will have to dépend on God to see them through since their strength alone can't do it. God despises it but did not do anything about it, after destroying people at Sodom and Gomorrah, he didn't feel bad and remove every thought of such from the heart of man, but sharp sharp he scattered the people building the tower of babel with different languages, my point being that he is capable of stopping anything he doesn't like by changing the thoughts why didn't he stop homosexuality? Why is he still testing?It's just like saying He should stop sin authoritatively, He should take away our free will. There are rules governing everything. The word of God has to be fulfilled. He decided not to take away your freewill but there are consequences for every decision you make. It's jst something automatic, you reap what you sow. Forgive me for still speaking according to a personal belief of "decision" being a major factor. Yes! That's how powerful the human mind is cos that's where our battle ground is - our mind. We are that powerful. But I think we should be clear on this that God tests His children, those who acknowledge Him and believe in Him and love Him while He waits on the others at the door of their hearts to come to Him. The tests is for them to be qualified to the next level like I said earlier because we have to grow and not be stagnant. I do not think God test those that ignore Him, He only do all he can to get their attention. You guys love freedom so much so I don't understand why you want God to control you like a robot. God can only do that after you've surrenderred your freewill to Him willingly. Even God work by His own rules, His word, that's how trustworthy He is. He said if we are unfaithful, that He will remain faithful for He cannot disown Himself. So he knows everything but still wants to test us to pleade himself, arent you offended? If your friend tests you just to please his or herself won't you be upset? Why is God allowed to do so?Sincerely I don't like it when I'm tested because it looks to me I'm not trustable and it hurts. But you know it doesn't stop people from testing each other because they are also looking for one to trust and rely on. But God's test for His children is for the good of His children also, it's a form of training, of discipline, of growing and of being worthy of honour. But come to think of it, why won't you test what you've created? Let's stop passing our responsibilities to Him. Exactly. If I take the test and fail and my time is up like the rich man in the bible, immediately I'm thrown to hell isn't that right? So he knew I will take a test, knew that I will fail, and still knew I will still be thrown to hell after yet still did it, why?, why create and carry out such tests in the first place, why not create people to live exactly how he wants? Abi we are just Guinea pigs for the testing, some may survive and go to heaven, some may not and go to hell, goodbye, take care and happy testing? Is that how it is?If you were the rich man now, what would be the cry of the society towards you? Again, God doesn't test those that ignore Him but only do all he can to get their attention. Don't forget there are consequences for every decision we make and every act we carry out. Be in Christ and turn the consequences for your own good. I hope he let's us know why, because until then, this thread is making a lot of senseYou need to surrender your life to Jesus, trust and love Him with all your heart, then you would have more right to know why He would test you and understand better. Just as some decide to masturbate, have sex with animals, any objects, some even do so with kids just to gratify their sexual desires or lust. It's all a personal decision. Forgive me but I do not care whether there are scientific theories and facts backing up claims of gays so as to please their beliefs. In this specific areas I do not believe them personally. I do not know how God protected me by still keeping me intact sexually, but I do remember how some ladies try to break me around my private parts when I was still a child because my mum do go about her business then. So I've learnt never to leave our kids in the trust of another be it relatives or not. It's by God's grace some children are still morally sound. It would be my decision if I want to be a prostitute, if I want to please both sexes. It would be one's decision to try both sexes and get to know the one that pleases you most. I believe a lesbian can be bisexual if she wants to, a homosexual can be bisexual if he wants to. Anyone can be if they desire it. So I find it funny when anyone blame it on science or creation. There are friends around trying to lure one into any of these but it depends on you as a person. But as Christians, there are rules guiding us and normally we are to have these strong hatred for such acts since our God despise them. If you do not hate the act as a Christian, then you have to watch yourself, go back on your knees and and ask God to renew His spirit in you. Suddenly everyone has gotten a voice. It's now they remember they were born homosexuals. It's now they discovered they are lesbians by nature all because someone who decided to live like that gave them a voice. There is nothing wrong if God test us to please Himself because He is God. It seems no one understand the meaning of God yet but one thing I do know is that God tests His children to bring glory to His name, to encourage others, to make us know Him better and trust Him more.,to grow in Him and easily help others come to know God more. It all points back to our individual decisions. Whether God knows you would pass the test or not, He just can't stay idle not doing anything to encourage you to pass since the ultimate decision lies with you. Let's remember God testing you doesn't mean you're the only focus. The enemy is there to know the outcome, followers are there to see if they would be encouraged by you or not because we are living for others and not ourselves, the cloud of witnesses are also there to cheer us on. The test isn't meant for only you, just remember others are watching to be encouraged or discouraged from your results. God won't leave you the same when you pass a test, it is also to take you to a new level. So if you want a new level now, pass the test today or you can decide to fail it and pass it tomorrow as long as you don't fail it when it's too late. It's all on you, the power lies with you. When we know the reasons God tests us, then this thread will make more sense. If God still test you while knowing the outcome, it means there's hope for you, He alone understands the power He has given you. It means God believes in you to break every negative results attached to you. It's just like asking if God knows you wouldn't give yourself to Him, why did he still send Jesus to die for you. Well, it means there's hope for you and if you should fail it, it's entirely your fault after all He's done. If I fail, it is my fault. |

But my focus and desire is in meeting Jesus face to face, at the end of it all. So life doesn't intrigue me that much. But thank God I'm alive. Hmmm! Where do I start from? Could have testified yesterday but for something beyond my control yesterday. I was also contemplating if I should share it here and I decided to So as to keep the record. Yesterday, on my way to work, I decided to take one of those red buses, former brt buses. The journey was smooth until I arrived my destination. This time I had to exit though the backdoor which is very rare for me. But we were told to alight, meanwhile the bus was still moving. A huge man went ahead of me, I saw him stumbled but couldn't tell if he fell because it was my turn to alight. When it got to my turn, I'm sure because of how "ajebutter" I look to people, the men at the back were telling the driver to slowdown, they were even mimicking me when I was shouting "owa o“. I relented for a while to come down until I realised the bus is just about moving past my destination then I made up my mind to come down. Just as I was stepping down, I heard the "backbenchers" shouting again don't come down now but it was too late then. I had already stepped down and I just remembered myself stumbling. This is the climax to me, it is the strangest experience that I still keep playing it back so I could understand better and remember vividly but to no avail. Within a short moment, should I say few seconds While I was stumbling, I saw a man rush in a hurry towards me so as to save me. He came towards me in a flight so to describe, as though he knew before hand something like that was about happening. He just held on to me, and there was this force so great I sensed, I do not know if it was a force from my end or his but it made us fall to the ground and slipped, then tumbled. I could tell his person would be hurt because while we were falling and slipping and tumbling or about tumbling, he didn't care for himself but held me in the most uncomfortable way for him so as to prevent me from hurting. The next thing I remember vividly was while I was about falling facewards to the ground, he made sure I fell on him and put his palm on my chest as if trying to prevent me from hitting my face on the ground and hurting my face on his head or body. I could just tell that whatever he did was for my own protection at the expense of his. I couldn't tell if the bus stopped eventually but I could tell the passengers were looking and screaming. Immediately it was noted I was saved, just after the man stopped me hitting my face, he just safely put me aside and I saw him ran towards the direction of the bus but didn't see him entering. It all happened in a flash that I couldn't tell where he came from and where he went to. I couldn't see his face too but I can remember I saw a part of his forehead but that's all I can remember about him. I'm still wondering how a human can save somebody like that and still had the strength to run away just as soon as I gained consciousness of all that happened. I wanted to ask if he was OK, if he wasn't hurt and I wanted to say thank you but he ran away and it made me find it difficult to believe all that happened in such a short moment but I know it did. Though my foot hurts from stepping down the bus, I could guess the possible outcomes, I mean I can give the worst possible scenario that could have happened to me. Like my knees hurting badly, my face being disfigured and the possible likes. But even my hurt foot is far better today after being extremely swollen yesterday which called for my colleagues in the office to hold me down and then massage it before it becomes a serious issue. At first when I told my colleagues, they saw it as no issue since they believe I make a mountain out of a mole hill because they also see me as "ajebor" until thy saw me limping and then they saw my foot as it swells from time to time before they took it serious. They even teased me that I won't be able to catwalk again . I had to leave the office early so as to have a perfect opportunity to care for my foot so as not to let it worsen. My dad just helped me with the use of hot water on the foot this morning before leaving for work. I have decided to take a leave from work today, though I feel quite better and nothing bad with my foot. Tomorrow by God's grace, it should be perfectly normal. Many I told the story believe the man who came to my rescue was an angel. I thank God for the man who rescued me at the expense of his life because where I stopped can said to be a scanty place where you don't expect anyone to be there waiting for a bus or so. I also want to thank God for the man that helped me get to the bridge because I wasn't opportuned to thank him also. May God reward them for me and above all, I give all the praise to my God and king because He knows He is the reason I am living. Thank you Jesus, may your purpose for me come to pass and bring honour and glory to your name, Amen! Please, You're free to share your today's Testimony on this thread also. 5 Likes |

Well, the way you see others is the way they will also see you. Even when you get married, you need to purify your thoughts so as to enjoy your marriage. OP, let Christ reflect first in your attitude, speech and in your thoughts and reasoning, then it would be easier to find a "human" and not "non human" What's holding you back and stopping you from finding her is because of "fear" of non humans which you've created. Once you've killed that fear and let love, power and sound mind in Christ take over then you've won the battle. 1 Like |
