if i got the concept of karma correctly,troubles are the result of a person's past actions. Except the "trouble" u mentioned above is in another context, does the divine spirit save a person frm what he may encounter as the result of his past actions

Always bear in mind the universal principle that Soul Exist because of God's Love for it.

Every thing that God does revolves around divine love and that includes the law of Karma.
This law is not punitive in itself and it is meant to teach Soul how to love itself and others.

When you slap someone and someone else slaps you back you will appreciate how painful slap can be and will think twice before dishing it out to another person again.

Once Soul has learnt the lesson of love embedded in any karmic burden that It is paying back, divine spirit can actually lessen the burden for It. But if the lesson is not learnt, the Soul is left alone to face the full brunt of the Karmic burden

We are learning to work with intuition, which actually is Spirit giving us gentle guidance to make our life better.

This thread is quite a beautiful narration of your journey of soul. I enjoyed every bit of it.

This is my 30th year anniversary in Eckankar and I can say I have absolutely no regrets.

I remembered the first day I walked into an ECK centre after I had combed through several religions the planet earth has to offer.

The first Eckist I met who I asked about how to become a registered member told me it was $50, I immediately turned around and started walking away but when I got to the door an inner voice told me to take another look.
I turned back and went inside and enjoyed the discussion class.
I was so poor back in those days and I kept wondering how I am going to raise the money to register.
Then I wrote a letter to Sri Harold, The Spiritual Leader of Eckankar telling him that I had no money to register and that I would like to be his student.
I was expecting to be registered free but instead I got my answer from the Inner Master who told me I was limiting myself and that $50 is nothing to soul. That all I need to do is to use my creativity and that nothing is impossible for soul.
I didn't even know what creativity was then.
I took my experience into contemplation after singing the HU and what to do and how I can use my creativity to raise the money and get myself out of poverty was shown to me.

I took action and to my greatest surprise I was able to raise far above the money for registration and my journey began in earnest.
Since then I have learnt how to tap into the creativity of soul to solve any problem confronting me.

The HU is actually the key.
Everything is within you. All that an organization can do for you is to show you how to make that inner connection with the Holy Spirit. You have to do it by yourself.
