There is no limited no of times you can soul travel because soul travel is a natural aspect of soul. It is simply soul expanding its consciousness to other areas of awareness the physical body is not atuned to.
You can soul travel while walking, while jogging and even while discussing with someone.
For example I was planning on going somewhere and while I was washing my clothes I was singing HU at the same time and my awareness expanded to the place I wanted to go to and I saw the road was blocked and will remain blocked till evening. so I waited till evening before going there and when I reached there I noticed the blockage I saw earlier was just easing off. This is an aspect of soul travel

In terms of soul traveling to anywhere I want, it doesn't really work that way. The reason is that the main purpose of soul travel is to facilitate Soul's journey back to God. So I can not use Soul travel to go and watch a football game or to see the future so that I can gamble on it.
The Holy Spirit is usually in control of soul travel movements and I find that I usually go to where I can learn more about the love of God and how I can be a better channel for God Love

Do you mean soul travel is not a special gift and anybody can learn it with time?

Soul travel is not a special gift. It is a natural aspect of soul. Anybody can learn it. The spiritual faculties of soul lies in a latent state. Spiritual exercises wakes them up just as physical exercises tones your muscles.

Do you mean I will roll my physical eyes upward?

You don't move your physical eyes.
Once you close your physical eyes your inner eye takes over. Just keep your attention on the dark area that appears once you close your physical eyes.

And how can one sing the Hu song? Is it

On average, how many months do you think It takes to start seeing the light?

Spiritual experiences and spiritual growth is purely an individual thing and depends upon a lot of factors.
Some may see the light immediately they start the spiritual exercises while others may take longer.
It took me up to 6 months before I started seeing the light and hearing the sound with accompanying outstanding soul travel experiences.
I nearly gave up when I didn't have any experiences after 5 months of doing the spiritual exercises. But each time I attended ECK programs I will hear people sharing their experiences.
So I continued determined to succeed. And success eventually came. Mind you I wasn't even a member of Eckankar when I started having these experiences. I enjoyed these experiences for up to 4 years before I decided to register as a member and throughout that time there was no compulsion or pressure from any member.

So these exercises are meant to enhance your spiritual growth no matter your religion. But you have to put your heart into it and don't relent until you achieve success.
Always remember that you are soul and you exist because God loves you

I guess this is how it is done, but I have some questions.
1. Can one sing Hu silently in the mind without making a sound?

Yes

2. Can one do this laying down instead of sitting?

Yes

3. How do one estimate the time? Is it advisable to set an alarm?

No need for alarm. You will feel an inner nudge from the Holy Spirit when to stop.

4. When you put your attention on the spiritual eye, did you mean I look up at the area between my eye brows while closing my eyes or I become aware of the area just like I can close my eyes and be aware of the thumb of my left leg?

When you close your eyes, every where becomes dark. Just gentle focus your attention on the spot between the two eyebrows. As you continue the spiritual exercise, at a point you can start seeing light appearing at that dark spot. That is the light of God and the first step to stepping into the inner heavens.

It works when I put my whole heart and my whole attention into it. When I am distracted with the worries of day to day living it doesn't work

Wow! This is diffrent from lucid dream, while out, can you still feel the physical body sitting or not? and while you're out there, do you have a body or you're just a point of consciousness? I like to know more about this .

When i am soul traveling i can feel the physical body sitting down even though my attention is completely away from it. while out it can take several forms depending on where i am exploring. for example any time i am exploring the time track, looking at the past or looking at the several possibilities of the future i usually see myself as a unit of consciousness observing the scenes being played out.
when i am exploring an inner city i usually manifest a body there with which i interact with people who are living there. while there i still hear the sounds and movements of people around my physical body environment and i can return my full awareness to my physical body at a moment's notice.

the beauty of soul travel is that you don't even need prolonged time to see a lot of things. sometimes i can witness an event spanning a month in the inner planes and notice that i have spent only 5 minutes soul traveling.
Soul travel is a natural gift which every soul already has. all it takes is regular practice of the spiritual exercises to awaken your latent inner spiritual faculties.

No, lucid dream is not just a clear and vivid dream but a dream in which one is conscious that one is dreaming while still dreaming. If I'm dreaming and suddenly realize that I'm dreaming, I'm conscious and aware that my environment is a dream world, can that be considered soul travel?

This is an example of soul travel for me: I sit down, sing the HU to spiritualize my consciousness put my attention on the spiritual eye, most times the light comes first, swirling around my inner vision, then the sound comes in various forms, in an instant I found myself stepping into one of the inner planes in full consciousness to explore and learn from any of the temples of golden wisdom. When I am done, I simply move my attention back to my physical body and in an instant I am back. That is an aspect of Soul travel.
The key words there is full consciousness from start to end.
Then I lie down and go to sleep and start dreaming, then I wake up in the dream and realize I am in a dream. Even though the dream is vivid and clear, it is still a dream and not soul travel.

I'd like to knw why the eckists in the centre i mingled with said that the picture of Klemp must be present in every eck centre; and we were told to have this picture of Klemp & talk to it after singing the hu. Yet we were told that Klemp is not to be worshiped.

if you had taken time to look around, you would have also noticed that there were also pictures of other ECK Masters in the centres too. not just Harold Klemp's picture and you can focus on them too in your spiritual exercises. likewise if you are a Christian, you can focus on the picture of Jesus Christ in your prayers.
the essence is to let you know that there are human beings like you who have made it to the Godhood and they serve as an inspiration and focus point to enable you achieve the same goal as they have done. they are not to be worship. focusing on the image of the Spiritual Master enables you to meet with him in the inner planes where the real teaching of spiritual truth is done.
if you met with the spiritual master in the inner planes and start worshiping him he will withdraw from you as you are showing that you are still a spiritual baby.
a new Eckist shared an inner experience where he did a spiritual exercise and was able to meet Sri Paul Twitchell in the inner planes. he bowed down and started worshiping Paul. the Master walked away from him telling him to come back when he is ready to go back to the basics.
secondly, the Master you meet in the inner plane is actually a crystallization of the Holy Spirit using the form of the teacher to reach out to you at the level that you can understand. so the face of the inner master that you meet in the inner will continue changing as you grow spiritually and according to your spiritual needs at the moment. that is why it is very important to make efforts to meet the inner teacher who will solidify your spiritual training.

Also,i'd like u guys to explain (if convenience) what's the problem between Klemp & Gross.Was all the suing (if true) necesary?

in spirituality, there is always another step and nobody stops growing even the Master. no matter how high you have grown spiritually you can always have a spiritual fall when you stop following the dictates of the Holy Spirit. Gross was to train and hand over to Klemp. After handing over he couldn't let go of the position and became attached to the seat. in order to stabilize the organization. legal actions had to taken to stabilize the organization and bring it back on track for the purpose for which it was created.

And,one more thing,do u eckists agree that one can find God without the leadership of Klemp?

absolutely yes. you can find God from anywhere you are. because you are part and parcel of God. you are soul created in the image and likeness of God. Eckankar does not claim to be the only path to God. the advantage that Eckankar has over most other religions and which i have also seen from my own experiences is that it is a more direct path to God cutting off all the social trappings and politics and dogma that have enmeshed most other religions. most religions you can not even separate the spiritual truths from the cultural practices and traditions of the place from which it originated from.
Eckankar focuses on the individual and the role of the Master is to help all souls who are ready to make the journey back to the heart of God from where they came from in the first place. and the help is always there for any soul that asks for it.

And don't think that i have anything against the whiteman,just that it seems to me that the eckists regard him as God.

we don't regard him as God but we know that he is a God man, a Modern Day Prophet, the beauty of it is that you are seeing a living breathing man just like yourself who have achieved what other religions will tell you is virtually impossible and he is ready to show you how to do it too because you are soul. if only you know the powers you possess as Soul, we will not even be having this conversation now.
all it takes is your love for God, your love for life, self discipline and trusting the Holy Spirit will always guide you to the path that is right for you at the right time

Eckankar is purely a Spiritual Path for Souls who are ready to make the journey back home to God. In Eckankar there is no compulsion. When a Soul is ready the Master appears. Before then nothing we say or do will make sense to you.
There is no hurry in the journey back to God. We have been on this journey for many lifetimes now.
So don't bother yourself, concentrate on whatever path or religion you find yourself now. Make effort to master it thoroughly and when you are ready to take the next step in your spiritual growth the Holy Spirit will always show you, when the time is right.
What matters most is to love God and love all life.

Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad was written by Sri Paul Twitchell, The Modern Day Founder of Eckankar.

is the physical body aware of its environment when the soul travels? Can soul travel be done while the body is busy (like playing football)? Also, what happens to the body if the traveled soul doesnt return for a long time?

Awareness rest with Soul and not the physical body. Soul can be aware of the physical body while soul traveling and seeing what is happening in another plane at the same time and of course you can be playing football, jogging or even speaking with someone while soul traveling at the same time.
In soul travel, Soul does not leave the physical body. It simply expands its awareness to other planes to experience life there so there is nothing like anything happening to the physical body because soul is away for a long time.
