if i got the concept of karma correctly,troubles are the result of a person's past actions. Except the "trouble" u mentioned above is in another context, does the divine spirit save a person frm what he may encounter as the result of his past actions?

Always bear in mind the universal principle that Soul Exist because of God's Love for it.

Every thing that God does revolves around divine love and that includes the law of Karma.
This law is not punitive in itself and it is meant to teach Soul how to love itself and others.

When you slap someone and someone else slaps you back you will appreciate how painful slap can be and will think twice before dishing it out to another person again.

Once Soul has learnt the lesson of love embedded in any karmic burden that It is paying back, divine spirit can actually lessen the burden for It. But if the lesson is not learnt, the Soul is left alone to face the full brunt of the Karmic burden

if the physical plane is described as "plane of time,space & matter,ILLUSION of reality", how then could someone in the physical world be sure that what he sees,hear,feel,or think is REALLY the truth?

Truth is relative to the plane in which it is being expressed and the channels through which it is being expressed. This is what contributes to its illusionary nature in the lower world.
So what may be truth in the physical plane may not be truth in the Astral plane or causal plane. So as you expand in consciousness your understanding and awareness of truth also expand.
The Absolute truth that never changes no matter the plane up to the heart of God is that God is Love and Soul Exist because of God's Love for It.
Anything whose foundation is not built on love is an illusion.
