- how does one open the third eye

The third eye can be opened by consistently doing spiritual exercises especially singing the HU, the love song to God.

what foods should be eaten and which should not in trying to keep this vehicle clean.

Foods to be taken is an individual thing. You should be able to know the foods that is good for you physically bearing in mind that one man's food is another man's poison. So there is no general rules. The spiritual exercises will also help here as you continue with it, you will start having inner nudges on the right food for you.

Reincarnation is a fake doctrine and that mars the whole of the message you are trying to pass across.
We have about 7 billion people on the face of the earth, and if you are to ask every individual whether they have the sensation of pre-existence, nobody will give you a positive response. Reincarnation is a myth.

Reading your article further, I noticed you said something about a veil being used to cover the memory of reincarnated souls.
If souls could not remember their previous lives, then, how were they able to know that they were reincarnated. So you can see you're just cooking up some bunch of lies.....

The fact that you don't remember your past lives does not mean it does not exist just like the fact that you can't see electromagnetic waves does not negate its existence. There are many people on earth today who remember their past lives and of course there are lots of documents floating around on the internet.

In Eckankar we are not interested in proving anything to anybody or in lengthy arguments. We present the truth as we know it and give you the tools to prove it to yourself if you are interested.

The fact still remains that once you translate from this physical existence you will see for yourself who is telling the truth and who is the liar.
So it is either you make effort to know now while you are still alive in the physical or wait till you translate. The choice is yours and after all there is no hurry. We have been on this journey for millions of life times.

is the urge for sex "negative"? Are sexual thoughts "negative"?

The urge for sex is a natural impulse in the physical body which if not controlled can lead to lust and drive the person down towards the animal level. Of course there is nothing wrong with sexual thoughts for someone you love and you also need to know that once you have sex with someone, you have spiritually married the person and your karmic profile become one, shared equally between the 2 of you. Sex is not something to be toyed with.

l am not yet an eckist but I have chanted HU before. Apart from funny sensations on my forehead and the crown of my head, nothing extraordinary happened. The thought of sex did not vanish!

Once you start singing the HU, cleansing process starts in your spiritual eye located on the forehead and on the door of soul located on the crown of the head. The process is very gradual and prepares soul for movement into the heavenly planes.
If you continue with spiritual exercises, negative thoughts will not disappear but you will have more control over them
