Typing:On the contrary,Atiku is actually working for Tinubu. Do you think we have forgotten that Atiku was one of those politicians who created APC? For the avoidance of doubt, these are the quotes your serial loser Atiku made about apc in 2014.... 'This is what our party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), seeks to actualize.” 'We have built the APC to replace a political system that has been hijacked by a small cabal of anti-democratic forces.' |
Typing:Speak for yourself oh. Atiku is not going near aso rock. We don't want a repeat of promax Buhari. Aso rock is not a rehabilitation centre. Next year,Nigerians will ensure the quick retirement of Tinubu and Atiku. |
crazygod:It's obvious Gomez will leave after this season. |
I can see some plastic fans trying hard to play down on this victory😂😂 If Liverpool had lost or drawn, they would have attacked andoni claiming slot was better.😆😆 I understand that feeling....I was like that. I remember back then under Brendan Rodgers when he played his last game against everton away,20 minutes later, news came in that he was sacked. I was so angry with Liverpool board. Even when the Rodgers was replaced with Jurgen klopp,I still felt Brendan deserved another chance and was cruelly dumped. I was praying that Liverpool will lose so that I can justify why Rodgers was better than his replacement klopp. However, slowly but surely I started liking klopp and the rest is history.😎 Andoni will surely win over the skeptical Liverpool fans. |
LordLicifer:If Sowore cannot prove that Peter Obi is a packaged fraud,he would be commiting a defamation crime. |
😂😂😂 Sowore’s hypocrisy is so glaring. He dishes out insults and derogatory remarks against his political opponents and online personalities he doesn't agree with, yet takes offence when someone tags him a tout. And his 'fringe' supporters, who laugh when he insults others, suddenly become defenders of respect and civility when the tables turn. You cannot demand respect for yourself while treating disrespect as a political weapon against others. That is selective outrage and blatant double standards. It's so obvious that Sowore cannot take half of the insults he recklessly dishes out.😆😆 |
Of course I knew they would twist your words. Most times, political affiliations can make even the most intelligent person start acting like they never attended a primary school. bentenny: |
Peterobiisathie:Are you blind or having a problem with reading? |

iamfraud:but why you leave out the ones for Lagos state nah?🤔🤔 Since e dey happen for Lagos, shey I dey free to say Tinubu boys at work?
|
'If I dont give you 24 hours electricity, don't vote for me' - Tinubu aka bulaba Okay Mr president😁😁

That's what happens when you run out of propaganda and have nothing tangible to sell Nigerians. Data boys on nairaland shamelessly resort to conspiracy theories to create distrust and confusion. This is not 2014. Nigerians are more politically conscious and recycling old political tricks won’t change that. When you have no achievements to campaign with, manufacturing conspiracy theories become their only strategy which they seem to be failing at. |
rossipki:😂 So my argument was so explicit and well structured that you assumed a human could not have written it?😆 I’ll take that as a compliment. Gracias😂 But notice how you have contributed absolutely nothing to the actual discussion. No rebuttal,no counterargument....just insults and an AI accusation.😎 I’m beginning to question your comprehension ability.Did you actually understand the argument or was it simply too much for you to process? Your clapback has only exposed the intellectual weakness you’re trying to mock. |
In context,Peter Obi was not necessarily telling Nigerians in the UK to abandon their struggling relatives permanently. He was urging them to stop treating private financial assistance as a substitute for fixing Nigeria’s political and economic problems. At a town hall meeting in the UK, Obi said Nigerians abroad should tell people at home who ask them for money to hold on, and instead encourage them to support credible leadership at the ballot box. He linked this appeal to his argument that corruption and the misuse of public funds have left Nigeria without adequate schools, hospitals and other essential services. His argument has three main parts: Short term relief cannot replace good governance. Diaspora remittances can help families survive, but they do not fix the public systems that leave people struggling. Political change requires citizens’ participation. He wants Nigerians abroad to use their influence to encourage relatives at home to vote for leaders they believe will manage public resources better. Public money should provide public services. His point is that Nigerians should not have to depend so heavily on relatives abroad for needs that a functioning economy and effective public services should help meet. There is an important distinction, though: the headline makes the statement sound like a blanket instruction to stop all remittances until Tinubu leaves office. The reports describe a more politically focused appeal to people who keep requesting financial assistance. It would be a stretch to interpret it as an instruction to abandon relatives who depend on money for food, medicine, school fees or other urgent needs. In simple terms,Obi’s message was that Nigerians should stop allowing private remittances to mask the consequences of poor governance and should direct more effort towards changing the political system. His appeal is about political pressure and accountability not necessarily cutting off vulnerable family members. |
Tinubu received seven volumes of a proposed UN budget, and suddenly we are celebrating history? What exactly should Nigerians be celebrating here? the delivery of documents?😭 Nigerians are battling hunger, insecurity, unemployment and collapsing infrastructure, yet we’re being sold a photo opportunity as a national achievement. Since when did receiving paperwork become a presidential accomplishment? If this is what they have to celebrate, the propaganda department must be seriously short of material.Terrible! |
The real joke is watching Segun Showunmi, who loves presenting himself as a democrat, react angrily to a legitimate question about a potential conflict of interest. So much for transparency and accountability! 😂 The bigger problem is a system whose constitutional safeguards are too weak to prevent political leaders from influencing critical electoral institutions through appointments and redeployments. And where are the senators who should be scrutinising these arrangements instead of allowing presidential power to go unchecked? INEC is too important to become a playground for political loyalty. Showunmi’s angry reaction is a far cry from the democratic principles he claims to stand for. When you preach accountability in opposition but become hostile when the same scrutiny reaches your doorstep, your democracy begins to look like a convenience, not a conviction. |
Segun Sowunmi has officially graduated from political comedy to political gymnastics. Imagine a man who once attacked and insulted Tinubu now working overtime to deodorise the very failure he once criticised. When political convenience becomes your compass, even common sense becomes a casualty. Peter Obi is from Igbo. He is the man whose presidential ambition has put the SouthEast firmly in the national conversation. Yet Sowunmi wants us to believe that the biggest obstacle to an Igbo presidency is the very Igbo man seeking to become president. What a spectacular contradiction!😁 So, according to this new political mathematics, the Igbo man contesting for president is the problem, but the political establishment that has repeatedly failed to produce an Igbo president is not? The candidate is the obstacle, not the people who refuse to support his candidacy? Make it make sense! The truth is that Obi's supporters are not the gatekeepers of Nigeria's presidency. They are citizens exercising their democratic rights. They owe no politician an apology for supporting a candidate they believe in. Sowunmi should stop confusing political loyalty with political strategy. You cannot blame an Igbo presidential candidate for the failure of other political actors to rally behind him, then pretend you are offering the South East a masterclass in coalitionbuilding. If Peter Obi is the biggest obstacle to an Igbo presidency, perhaps Sowunmi should explain how an Igbo man stepping aside would magically guarantee that the same political establishment would hand the presidency to another Igbo candidate. Or is the real problem not Obi himself, but the fact that his political movement refuses to take instructions from the establishment? This is not political analysis. It is an attempt to dress up political opportunism as strategic advice. 😂 |
Imagine demanding a lifestyle you may not even be able to finance yourself, then expecting a man to prove his worth by funding it. The men sponsoring this kind of entitlement are equally to blame. they keep rewarding unrealistic expectations and then wonder why some women treat relationships like ATM contracts. If ₦50,000 for hair is an insult and ₦100,000 is the minimum entry fee,the question is simple.can you afford the lifestyle you’re demanding or are you outsourcing your financial responsibilities to a man? |
Silentgroper:I believe you’re judging Iraola too quickly while giving Slot’s best moments more credit than his disastrous ending deserves. We’re not even 10 EPL games into this new season and the team is already showing improvement. Rebuilding takes time.you cannot expect a new manager to get everything right overnight. Let’s not romanticise Slot’s final days. Liverpool had become predictable, laboured in possession, vulnerable defensively and short of ideas against low blocks. His title-winning first season doesn’t erase how badly things deteriorated towards the end. Under Iraola, we’re already seeing more aggressive pressing, quicker transitions and better counterpressing. His system is demanding and there will be mistakes while the players adapt. You say it’s not about the coach, but you keep comparing Iraola’s attacking football with Slot’s strengths while glossing over how poor Liverpool became under Slot towards the end. I’m not saying Iraola is perfect.I’m saying give him time to build. You cannot demand a rebuild and then complain that the team isn’t finished after a handful of league games. |
DEROXMAN:😂 @highlighted....is a hilarious way to admit you’ve abandoned common sense for political sycophancy. You’re staking your confidence on a man whose political allegiance changes with convenience? Keep trusting him blindly. By January 16, we’ll see whether Wike delivers voters or just another round of excuses. Abeg, keep the premium tears ready.you may need them more than the tanks. |
Let me go and find the newest ageepee tanks on jumia because this thread will likely be flooded with premium tears.

Tareq1105:The problem is Tinubu’s misplaced priorities and supporters like you who defend them without thinking rationally. If he had prioritised repairing Nigeria’s major highways from the beginning instead of committing humongous sums to the coastal road,a very strategic and important Benin Asaba road could have received urgent attention much earlier. Now you’re asking Nigerians to be patient after years of suffering,as though this road only became deplorable yesterday.Umahi refusing to sit in his office means nothing if motorists are still battling terrible roads. Your kind treats political leaders like demigods, encouraging them to see themselves as emperors rather than servants of the people.Leadership is a duty to serve the people, not a crown that turns politicians into emperors and their supporters into worshippers and glorified sycophants. Stop defending poor prioritisation as though it were an act of God.Tinubu chose his priorities and Nigerians have every right to question them. You cannot neglect existing roads, announce belated repairs, and expect applause for doing what should have been done long ago or what is expected of him as a president. |
After more than three years in office, Tinubu is only now ordering repairs, redesign and dualisation of the Benin Asaba Road,a route motorists have endured in deplorable condition for years. Were they sleeping under a rock all this while? Nigerians needed urgent action, not years of suffering followed by another announcement. Fixing a road you neglected for years is not a presidential legacy. And this belated announcement will not erase Tinubu’s massive failures or stop Nigerians from voting him out. Nigerians need results, not propaganda dressed up as achievement. |
Silentgroper:You’re calling it luck because Brentford had two men sent off,yet when Liverpool lost at Anfield after Gravenberch’s red card, you blamed the manager for not reorganising the team. Why didn't you say mancity were lucky to have won with a red card? Don’t you see the double standard? Liverpool had less than four days to recover from a match against LASK,while Brentford were fresher and had no midweek game.Considering those circumstances,I said Liverpool played better, not that they were flawless or overwhelmingly superior. 'Better' is relative to the circumstances,so you could have asked what I meant instead of jumping to conclusions. And honestly, your dislike for the manager is so obvious that it seems to shape how you interpret every result. Isn't that sentimental on your own part? |
LegendHero:😂 The fact that you’re asking this question informs me you’ve forgotten Wike’s political history already. A man who can fall out with his own political camp and jump into another is now your guarantee for Rivers and Abuja votes? Depending on Wike to deliver both states is like building your house on a man who changes the location of the land overnight. That’s not political strategy.. thats delusion dressed up as confidence. |
If we allow that disaster called bulaba to come in 2027,Nigerians will become slaves again I n their own country. 'If we reduce the purchasing power of the people, we can further slow down the economy.' - Tinubu |
Why would she even put herself in that position where she has to choose between protecting her own child and a dog? So what if that guy didn't show up,maybe the aggressive would have done harm to her child? I hope the lady doesn't accuse that man of invading her space.. |
Image123:😂 Is January 16 now your substitute for an argument? You’ve abandoned the original debate and resorted to countdowns because you have nothing left to say. This is what happens when someone runs out of substance but refuses to leave the stage. you still haven’t answered a single point. These are just the last kicks of a dying horse that has already lost the race.😂 |
LegendHero:😂 So Wike has graduated from minister to political landlord who owns both Rivers and Abuja? And you’re already distributing states that don’t belong to him or you. Obi engaging Wike in 2023 doesn’t make Wike the owner of Obi’s political destiny. Even you know the difference between political relevance and political ownership. Let 2027 come first; this confidence in a man who can switch sides overnight is comedy before the election has even started. |
Nigeria does not need another pro max Tinubu who remembers Nigerians only when a presidential election approaches and disappears to Dubai after losing. Political experience means little without consistency and commitment to the people. Peter Obi has remained engaged with Nigerians even after losing in 2023, demonstrating the consistency and commitment required of a leader. We need a leader who remains present beyond election season, not one who treats the presidency like a lifelong personal ambition. Nigeria is not a retirement project for serial presidential aspirants. |
