What is the point of announcing new budgets when previous commitments remain unfulfilled? Before presenting another budget,nigerians deserve to know what has been implemented and what remains outstanding and why.

Nigeria doesn't need another impressive budget on paper,it needs a government that delivers on the budgets it has already approved.

What should worry Nigerians is where apc keeps getting humongous funds to purchase these campaign buses and cars.

For instance the 10 Prado jeeps purchased by dayo through the first lady was estimated to be above a billion naira.

With what has been purchased so far by apc,has the campaign funds not exceeded the limit by a political party according the electoral laws?

The way I see apc,if another party eventually takes over in 2027,the humongous funds looted by this administration alone will make abacha look like a saint or pope.

The last person anyone should underestimate is Peter Obi.In 2023,he joined a relatively unknown Labour Party less than a year before the election and helped it secure over six million official votes.A party that had never recorded anything close to that in a presidential election suddenly became a major political force.

That alone tells you something about Obi’s grassroots appeal and ability to mobilise Nigerians.

He won lagos,plateau,abuja,nasarawa and several other states without having a single Labour Party governor in those states.He won in regions where the established political structures were firmly controlled by other parties esp PDP.

So,this stale argument that a party must have governors,lawmakers and political structures everywhere before it can win an election is outdated.Obi already challenged that assumption in 2023.

Politicians like Umar ardo who think the 2027 election is simply between the APC and the ADC and that a party without established political structures cannot win may be in for a shocker.

2027 is not merely apc versus another political party.It is apc versus Nigerians who are tired of the suffering,insecurity and economic hardship they have endured.When people go out to vote, they will remember what this government has put them through.

Hence,it will be political naivety to dismiss Peter Obi once again or the power of the electorates.
