Haters go say Liverpool don jam awof😛😛 0-3 Barcola on a hattrick. |
The tragedy of Nigeria is that politicians have become emboldened enough to treat the country as their personal property because the people have allowed them to get away with too much. Wike’s utterances are a symptom; the real problem is a political system that rewards impunity and a citizenry too divided by tribe and religion to demand accountability. Tinubu cannot claim leadership when it suits him and escape responsibility when his administration’s political culture encourages such arrogance. Nigeria belongs to its people, not to politicians seeking a second term. And until Nigerians begin to put citizenship above tribal and religious sentiments, these politicians will continue to treat the people with contempt. |
bukatyne:It can. The gym is the natural way to build your glutes and achieve your desired body shape. Consistent exercise can give you fuller, firmer buttocks and better proportions without going under the knife. Surgery is a choice, but nature has its own way of delivering results. |
stuffs2002:Your comment is a perfect example of a conscience being absent where humanity should be. So, in your shallow reasoning, the police can kill someone, label him a criminal and that automatically makes it justice? Your lack of empathy is disgraceful. The tragedy isn't just what happened to my friend, but that people like you can watch injustice and still find a way to blame the victim. |
What’s the point of undergoing surgery for something you can achieve naturally through exercise at home or in the gym? |
I wish I could sympathise with the police, but remembering how they brutally murdered my friend and framed him as a terrorist drains every ounce of sympathy I have for them. He complains about Nigeria’s hardship, yet the same police are often deployed by politicians to intimidate and attack defenceless citizens demanding a better country. You cannot be both a victim of a rotten system and an instrument of its oppression without being called to account. |
Omor the audacity of these bandits too loud. They obviously don't rate the security agencies in Nigeria esp the army. Chai. |
Barca and Ov3.5 5 and 6😂 |
But Tinubu said bokharam have been defeated. |
The big question is why were 120 buckets of paint purchased without checking their contents before leaving the company? There is a reason why new phones are checked before being handed to the buyer. Nevertheless, the seller must be held accountable. He should document the evidence, return the 46 buckets, and demand a refund or replacement even if he has to go back with a police officer to ensure the matter is properly handled. Nobody should pay for paint and be forced to accept water as a substitute. |
This is the shameful reality of seefinish! A rotten system that fails to protect its own citizens has created an environment where some foreigners appear emboldened to treat Nigerians with contempt in their own country. But the blame does not lie with the system alone. Some Nigerians have contributed to this humiliation by worshipping foreigners, tolerating disrespect and displaying an inferiority complex that makes them behave like second class citizens in their own homeland. Nigeria is not anybody’s colony, and Nigerians are not slaves in their own country. If you come here to do business, respect our people and obey our laws. Our government must stop being toothless when citizens are abused and Nigerians must stop confusing servility with humility. A nation that cannot defend the dignity of its citizens at home has surrendered something far more valuable than authority. |
How many times must Nigerians be ambushed, kidnapped, attacked and killed before the Tinubu administration accepts that securing the lives of citizens remains a fundamental duty of government? Another reported terrorist ambush at Zamfara State, involving travellers and a military escort, raises the same troubling question:what exactly does the Federal Government mean when it claims that insecurity has been defeated? A government cannot continue to make claims of victory over insecurity while Nigerians remain exposed to attacks on highways, in communities and in their own homes. The repeated reports of such incidents raise serious questions about the effectiveness of the government's security strategy and the credibility of its assurances. The primary responsibility of a president is not merely to issue statements, announce security operations or declare success. It is to protect the lives and property of the people he swore to serve. President Tinubu must be held accountable for the gap between his administration's claims and the security Nigerians continue to experience.Citizens deserve more than repeated assurances; they deserve to travel without fear, live without terror and go about their daily activities without wondering whether they will make it home alive. If insecurity has truly been defeated, why are Nigerians still facing these recurring threats? The lives of citizens are not statistics to be managed with political slogans.Security is a fundamental responsibility of government, not a favour to the people. |
What is the point of celebrating macroeconomic growth when the ordinary citizens cannot feel its impact in their daily lives? What good are impressive GDP figures if food remains unaffordable, purchasing power continues to decline, unemployment persists and millions struggle to meet their basic needs? Economic growth should not merely look good on paper,it should translate into improved living standards for the people. What is the use of a man being wealthy if his wife and children are still starving? What good is his impressive bank balance if his family cannot afford decent food, quality education, healthcare or a comfortable life? Wealth should reflect in the wellbeing of those it is meant to serve. If a man is getting richer while his family remains trapped in poverty, then one must ask: what is the value of that wealth if its benefits never reach the people who need them most? If the economy is growing but the citizens are getting poorer, then we must ask: growth for whom, and to what benefit? |
The IMF says Nigeria’s economy has grown, yet it is recommending cash transfers and temporary income support to help citizens cope with the high cost of living, poverty and food insecurity. Isn’t that a contradiction worth questioning? If economic growth is translating into improved living standards, why do millions of Nigerians still need financial assistance to afford basic necessities? An economy cannot be declared a success merely because the figures look impressive on paper while its citizens remain trapped in hardship. The real measure of economic growth is not just how much the economy expands, but how much that growth improves the lives of ordinary people. So here is the question the Federal Government must answer: If your economic policies are working as you claim, why do Nigerians still need cash handouts to survive the very economic growth you are celebrating? Growth that citizens cannot feel in their pockets is a statistic, not prosperity. |
Unfortunately, some citizens still blinded by religion and ethnic bigotry will still go ahead and vote the corrupt, unaccountable, irresponsible and incompetent president despite the obvious failures. |
Mynd44:Peter Obi took no 'domestic' loans. If he did as you claimed, provide evidence. The loans you are referring to are external development-financing programmes negotiated through the Federal Government, primarily involving the World Bank and IFAD, and the DMO figures confirm the actual drawdowns, not the combined value of the approved facilities being circulated. It is financial illiteracy to claim someone left a debt while ignoring the savings available to offset it.Obi’s reported savings are sufficient to cover the actual external debt.why discuss the liabilities while deliberately ignoring the assets? As for Obiano and Soludo, what exactly does their cordial relationship prove? Stop presenting the absence of a public feud between Obiano and Soludo as evidence against Obi. Political relationships are not financial records, and liabilities cannot be assessed honestly while ignoring the assets available to offset them. Interestingly,Obiano was arrested by the EFCC over embezzlement, just as Ngige also faced EFCC action.Yet Peter Obi remains the exception in this argument. |
Sirjamo:If he borrowed money, the relevant questions are how much he borrowed, what he spent it on, what assets or savings remained, and what his administration achieved. Those are questions of evidence, not speculation about what he “probably knew.” And this claim that he built not even a single primary school or primary healthcare centre? Can you substantiate it, or do you expect us to accept sweeping claims simply because you made them confidently? You cannot dismiss his savings when discussing his finances, then dismiss evidence when discussing his achievements. Bring facts, figures and verifiable records, not assumptions dressed up as arguments. |
If I manage a company, save ₦100 million and take an external loan of ₦20 million, would it make financial sense to conclude that I am still financially indebted without considering the ₦100 million in savings at my disposal? Nobody is disputing Peter Obi’s savings, and nobody is disputing the existence of external debts. So why are you focusing exclusively on the liabilities while ignoring the assets that could potentially offset them? The fundamental principle of financial analysis is that you must examine both sides of the balance sheet before drawing conclusions. You cannot isolate someone's debts, conveniently ignore their savings and then present the resulting picture as an accurate assessment of their financial position. Of course, savings and debts are not automatically interchangeable. You must establish whether the assets are available, liquid and sufficient to cover the outstanding liabilities. But that is precisely the point: until you examine both sides, you cannot reasonably conclude that the person is financially burdened simply because they have debts. If you acknowledge Peter Obi's savings but refuse to consider how those savings relate to his liabilities, you are not conducting a balanced financial assessment. You are presenting only the part of the story that supports your argument. You cannot assess someone’s financial position by looking at their liabilities while deliberately ignoring their assets. That is not financial analysis; it is selective reasoning. |
If soludo has to threaten Igbos to vote Tinubu,it implies that he has already failed. |
The fact that she attempted to go into business but failed only to succeed as a prostitute indicates something else. I may be wrong but I believe the reason why she failed in business was because she was expecting instant pay which wasn't forthcoming. But the moment she went into olosho biz,she started making instant cash. Unfortunately,a time will come when your clients will no longer find you attractive. So what's next? Another business? |
In other words, the president is a vegetable. |
Tobey is simply chairing an occasion where he is transferring his 'liabilities' to another unfortunate man. |
Parachoko:Una hypocrisy loud.
|
AllBlack:Be specific and detailed about your complaints. |
Newsmills:I honestly don't understand what you people want from Peter Obi. If he doesn't speak out, you'll accuse him of being too quiet. If he issues press releases, you'll accuse him of doing nothing. Now you expect him to publicly tell NDC members to take up arms? Is that what political leadership means to you? You cannot condemn political violence on one hand and advocate armed confrontation on the other. Elections require organisation, mobilisation, legal action and the protection of voters—not turning politics into a battlefield. |
Just imagine what apc have turned Enugu into just because they want to win the south east by all means. |
AllBlack:How did Obi fail Nigeria when he has never been President? What evidence proves he is not ready, beyond your personal opinion and insults? Tinubu is the President, not Obi. Instead of attacking a man who has never held the office, hold the man currently occupying it accountable. You don't have to support Obi, but confusing political hatred with critical thinking is embarrassing. If he's unfit, prove it with facts. Otherwise, spare us the noise. |
The Founder of the Alternative Movement, Segun Showunmi, is sponsoring the restoration of water supply at an IDP camp in the FCT, practically within the seat of power where the President resides. Let that sink in. Providing basic amenities like water to vulnerable Nigerians should be a fundamental responsibility of government, not something citizens should have to depend on private individuals to provide. Yet, ironically, Showunmi is supporting the same Tinubu administration under whose watch such basic needs remain unmet in a camp housing thousands of displaced Nigerians. What a contradiction! You cannot keep supporting a government while privately stepping in to do what that government ought to be doing. At what point does humanitarian intervention become an indictment of the government's failure? |
The only reason why this issue is on FP is without doubt the acknowledgement and admission from the ruling party and 'fringe' parties that, the obidient movement is one of the strongest base in Nigeria, followed by the kwankwasiya movement. |

Silentgroper:A team without a proper striker no matter the defence will crumble and that's what happened to LFC today. Secondly, when are you going to realize that we are not good enough like before. Liverpool are a transitional team and will need upgrades as they go forward. We are not winning any major trophies this season. We don't have that team 8-9 years ago that ripped some teams to shreds. Klopp had terrible games but he had intensity,he knew what he wanted and the players he needed. He was given time and that's what made klopp successful. Slot had an opportunity of continuing where klopp stopped. Instead he decided to wait after a season to destroy everything klopp ever built. Iraola needs time and players upgrade to implement his own pathway. He also needs true fans that understand this is a transitional team that will get better with time. |
