Goodluck Jonathan unproactive govt you bought fuel #145, gas #300, rice #8000, naira #216 to dollar.
Tinubu proactive govt fuel #680, gas #1000, rice #48000, naira #1200 to dollar.
All of these according to you hypocrite, I can see you're one of these clueless Apc politicians looting state and federal coffers. I know you are from the camp of the headless mobs, a group of despicable reprobates so low they can only bark but never bite. You and your group laboured in vain in 2023 with your candidate that is suffering from mental leprosy. Keep on crying and wailing, you can't do shit. They will cry to bed at night and pretend in the morning. Stay there and be waiting for somebody that will start a protest for you. Toothless rat. |

BossGerald: So you're a nobody asking if I know who I was chatting with sir??
I never participated in 2012 protest, you guys did and you claim its because the then govt was not proactive enough...now, was Buhari's govt proactive? Is tinubu govt proactive??
Why haven't you protesters of un proactive govt so silent and in support with same unproactive people? Because you're a bigot??
Explain to me Whatever. You never participated, then why are you crying so much about what you never participated in? Is it a peculiarity of certain people to cry more than the bereaved? I see no need for protest. The government out there is proactive. I am not complaining of anything. I am ok with the system. Whoever has any problem because one satanic being lost an election should go all out and protest. Nobody is hampering anybody but I bet they don't have the balls. This has nothing to do with bigotry on my own end. You are the one displaying every symptoms of bigotry in the sense that a system is not good with you yet you refused to talk, mobilise or do anything about it. What are you waiting for? You want somebody to do it on your behalf? |

Crime › 20-year-old Nigerian Tied Up, Beaten To Death For Allegedly Stealing Iphone In D by Benwallt(op): 9:52pm On Dec 22, 2023 |
A 20-year-old man identified as Edafe Okoro has been beaten to death by a mob at Jakpa Junction, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State for allegedly stealing a mobile phone. SaharaReporters gathered that Edafe was killed on Saturday, December 16, 2023. One of his family members who spoke with SaharaReporters accused an aide to the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and one of his relations of being behind Edafe’s lynching for allegedly stealing a mobile phone and selling it for N8,000. She further pleaded with the appropriate authorities to look into the case and ensure justice in the matter. She said, "On Saturday by 5 pm, I went to visit my sister, on getting there I was told that my brother was being flogged. When I got to where my brother was being flogged, a boy named Leo told me that my brother (Edafe) and his friend Egbedu had stolen. “I asked him (Leo) about the item they stole and he said iPhone X and added that they sold it for eight thousand naira. "He also said after selling the phone for eight thousand naira, they used the SIM to withdraw money from the owner's account. I saw my brother and his friend Egbedu tied up and being flogged. I asked them to take my brother (Edafe) to the police station from there he would be taken to jail to serve his sentence because we didn't have any money to bail him. “Leo then held my brother with the rope still tied around his body and said he was taking my brother to the police station. So I told him to go ahead and I left the scene and went back to the house. Later that evening around 7 pm, I received a call telling me that my brother instead of them to take him to the station like we initially agreed, he was being flogged again. “But I didn't go to the said scene again. Later that evening at about 9 pm, my elder brother called me and told me that he saw my brother lying by the roadside and it was as if he was already dead. “On getting there, I saw my brother with blood all over his body and most of his bones broken. I asked someone to go and call my dad. When my dad came, we removed the rope from him and used a tricycle to take him home since he was already dead at that time. "I heard that the governor’s aide in that area was the one who tied his leg and orchestrated the beating and killing by himself together with his brother.” "The appropriate authorities should please look into the case and give justice to my brother,” she added. The spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the tragic death to SaharaReporters on Thursday, saying some suspects had been arrested. "Yes, it's true that a mob killed a young man at that location, but it was not related to any government official. Arrest has been made and investigation has commenced," he added. https://saharareporters.com/2023/12/22/20-year-old-nigerian-tied-beaten-death-allegedly-stealing-iphone-delta |

In a recent post on Twitter, Former Presidential Aide and political commentator Reno Omokri reacts to Peter Obi's characterization of President Bola Tinubu's initiatives, including free railway rides and a 50% reduction in transport costs for the Yuletide season. Omokri questions Obi's tendency to view positive developments through a negative lens and suggests that Obi should express appreciation for such favorable gestures.
He tweets; "Rather than Peter Obi to call President Bola Tinubu's free railway ride for Nigerians and 50% slash in transport costs for the Yuletide a "spin to curry favour", why can't he, for once, be appreciative of something good? Where is Peter Obi's own spin to curry favour with Nigerians, other than his constant lies and fake statistics?
At least the private sector transport operators, including some who operate in Anambra and are personally known to Peter Obi, have confirmed the deal and are already implementing it. Why are Peter Obi and his Arise Peoples Party only happy when bad things happen in Nigeria and sad when good occurs? At the rate they are going, one hopes they will not start sponsoring people to sabotage our economy and security just to have something negative to be happy about.
All he and his Arise Peoples Party, plus his Obidients, know how to do is raise false alarms with fake statistics and then threaten, insult and abuse when right-thinking Nigerians refuse to buy into their delusions." |

No fewer than 250 old people in Anambra State have benefitted from the Renewed Hope Initiative’s Elder Support Scheme (RHIESS).
The event, which took place at the Governor’s Lodge, Awawbia, on Thursday, is part of the programme arm of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), a non-governmental humanitarian organization founded by the wife of Nigeria’s President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The 250 old people, aged sixty-five years and above, were selected from different parts of the state, following strict health, age and economic status criteria for those who are eligible for the programme.
The empowerment programme, which is going on in all the thirty-six states of Nigeria, also has members of Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA) as beneficiaries.
They were given free medical checks, the sum of N100,000 each to take care of their personal upkeeps, bags of rice and rolls of wrappers.
Presenting the gifts on behalf of the president’s wife, the Anambra Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo, who read the Nigeria First Lady’s speech, said that the economic empowerment project was borne out of steadfast commitment to the well-being of the elderly citizens and marks a significant stride in the collective pursuit of a more inclusive and compassionate society.
She noted that as the festive season draws closer, it has become important to emphasize the significance of prioritizing the elderly in the initiative, noting that by reaching out to them, their contributions are not only honoured but the unique encounters they face are equally acknowledged.
Senator Tinubu equally urged the elders to embrace life to the fullest, prioritize their health and strengthen their bonds with one another and with God, adding that those are the key to a rich and fulfilling life in their current years.
Two of the beneficiaries, Chief Dim Nnakife and Dame Evelyn Dike, thanked the president’s wife for remembering the poor, and described the gesture as the first in the history of the state.
They equally commended Mrs Soludo for ensuring that the gesture got to Anambra State, stating that the present administration in the state has once again shown its compassionate side of governance.
Also at the event were the wife Of the deputy governor of Anambra State, Mrs Oluchi Ibezim; Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo; the Executive Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Dr Vera Nwadinobi; wife of the National Chairman of APGA, Mrs Amara Ezeokenwa; the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South, Mrs Amaka Obi, among others. https://tribuneonlineng.com/tinubus-wife-doles-out-n100000-each-to-250-elderly-people-in-anambra/
