For my take on the whole Kitchen Coup D'etat, while I don't like how Pere went about it, I'm happy it happened, at least the game side of me like it. We complained this season was boring, that Whitemoney was the only entertaining HM, then the new HMs came in looking quite promising but after the initial sparkles, they all mellowed down. JMK has been a disappointment. And it was looking like it would be another Whitemoney one man show without any opposition till Pere came in to be the villain and ruffle the feathers.

For the past 3 days, we've been talking of plans Pere has pulled off or want to pull off and how Whitemoney has still been coping well with attack from Peria. It's been a major topic. Pages have been flying left, right and center because of the Whitemoney vs Peria power tussle. Dropping the sentiments I have for Whitemoney aside, it is good. This show has always had villain and hero sort of mechanism. From Tboss vs Efe to Mercy vs Tacha. Let's see Pere take up the mantle and and give Whitemoney run for the money. May the best man win, hopefully Whitemoney still keep gaining momentum and love and win at the end.

...... nobody monopolized the kitchen last year... a good number of them cooked. Kidd was there as well..... Nengi.... Even Erica. so nobody felt indebted to anyone

Now Pere has stopped him from cooking, why is he not cooking to use the strategy since Mazi's cooking is his problem?

If the HMs abandoned the kitchen for Mazi, it's on them and not him. Channel your grouse towards them. At this rate Whitemoney would be blamed for the economic hardship in Nigeria.

In fact..... Ofuneka had what was then called "kitchen votes" on the lockdown during BBA2 and for that singular act of cooking for housemates, they kept her in the game until the finals. Do your findings on this

In fact it was after that season that people started to hustle for kitchen votes. The difference down the seasons is that contestants no LONGER allowed one person do it.... so couple of persons enters the kitchen to share in the votes (plus extra food/meat)

I remember Kidd and Lucy fell out cos of kitchen last year

Any smart contestant who has watched this show would know that the cameras around that zone is mad.... and would like to share that spotlight

so yes.... cooking has always been a strategy on the show

OK, cooking is a strategy, right? So, how come Ka3na and Lucy didn't get love from the HMs nor the viewers coz of it? Why were they disliked very well despite cooking? Why didn't it work for them since they used the strategy?

Ka3na cooked heaven and earth but when the opportunity presented her head on the platter for the HMs, they kicked her out of the house immediately. They sent her packing despite feeding them because they couldn't stand her BAD ATTITUDE.

See, what you don't realize is that the HMs love for Whitemoney is not coz he cooks. Yes, he gets some love from there, but it's not the major reason for the likeness. The HMs like Mazi for his mad vibes, his jokes, his funny dispositions, his personality etc. It's not just about the cooking. See last night, despite Mazi not being in the kitchen, the ladies still flocked around him.

This is more than cooking. This is grace. They no dey buy am for market. If you no get am, you no get. Cooking alone won't get you the kind of love the HMs or the viewers have for Mazi. *In Burnaboy's voice * Make Pere do am if e easy.

This right here is the problem with u lot....lack of comprehension of what the issue is. No one is discussing the viewers voting patterns,.....we are discussing the game dynamics. What is happening in the house...not who the viewers love.

Let's see everyone in the kitchen and let's see them interact in all capacities. Whoever the viewers decide to crown is a totally different topic altogether.

Last season, Laycon won with a record gap, he was the chosen one from the get go and guess what? I can't remember Laycon turning semo, making stew, cooking rice, preparing spaghetti or cooking soup for the housemates, but yet nobody topped him at the polls. Even in tasks, he won a lot without entering the kitchen.


Rico cooked all he could and still got thrown out the moment he was up for eviction. Cooking will never make a HM win if the viewers are not supporting the HM or love the HM. Whitemoney cooking is not the problem, the problem is YOU. YOU haven't realized where the pain you're experiencing is coming from, but it's definitely not because Whitemoney dey cook. Las las, you go dey all right.

Let me tell you wassup from my own point of view
WM didn’t come into the house with cooking strategy, his strategy was to. Make people laugh which he has been doing successfully. He probably decided to cook in the house due to boredom….meeting 21 people for the first time, in a big house, no phones, no waking up going about your normal business/work, no access to some other things etc. That shit ain’t easy man….before you go adapt e go take long time. So definitely those things might have been what triggered him to start cooking again. It can happen to anyone sometimes out of boredom you’d just find yourself doing what you did as a child or at a younger age. So to me white money did not come there to cook it wasn’t his plan infact the housemates triggered it more by complimenting his food all the time telling us how sweet it is. So won’t he be gingered to do more or continue doing it? So initially he saw that the housemates enjoy his food then he saw it as an opportunity and added it to his strategy.

On the first night the male HMs entered, Whitemoney while asking the guys what roles they'd play, he brought up the cooking role and none of them wanted it. He agreed that he'd do the cooking since he likes cooking. It wasn't a strategy then, but all of a sudden, it has become a strategy.

But they all had the opportunity to cook and still do, and they didn't go for it. He's now getting love from everyone and suddenly cooking is now a strategy for the first time in the history of BBN.

While I agree with your message that picking a winner from day two or day one makes the show predictable, but I'm wondering why you didn't preach this your gospel when Miracle your fave enjoyed his bandwagon fans and was the winner from beginning of the show till the end. How come you didn't jump off the bandwagon Miracle enjoyed and support a weak HM during his reign? If Maria was the chosen winner would you have typed this message?

There's no HM that would be nominated and booted out and when Ebuka shows him or her who nominated him or her, or the person finds out outside the house, that will be happy and praise the person that put him up for eviction. It doesn't happen that way.


Praise wasn't happy when he found out Neo nominated him and he got evicted. When Vee nominated Lilo then, she was hurt after she found out. So, it won't be different for Whitemoney or anyone else. Yerins is also bitter about Pere. It's natural, so I don't understand the nonsense about apprecting Pere and Maria like they both don't nominate others who would be mad when they know the truth. Spare me the BS!!

Laycon's win had nothing to do with his tribe. He was the crowd favourite and he won. His tribe had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with it. He was generally loved and had the most fans. Know this and know peace.
