Dominique_ is a Diane fan. She also likes Frodd but she's a Diane fan first and foremost. It's just the same way I'm a Frodd fan above every other HM, but I like Ike very much.

There is no report here that the housemates have been grouped.
The housemates have been grouped into two, team Red and Team white.
Team red consists : Ike, Seyi, omashola, Tacha, Elozonam and Diane
Team White: Mercy, Cindy, Khafi, Frodd and Mike.
The pairing is for airtel challenge.

I'd have preferred Frodd in team red. angry

How Ike and Frodd's friendship got strained is still a mystery. Glad their fans have good relationship though.

Before the Veto stuff, Ike and Frodd's friendship had drifted a bit because Frodd was now majorly spending all his time with Esther. Frodd didn't know how to balance his relationship with Esther and his hommies. Ike has always found a way to balance his which I really love about him.

Then came the veto usage which Ike chose Shola. It kind of put further strain on their friendship. But they still find ways to talk and laugh once in a while. Like immediately after the eviction, Ike and Frodd laughed and joked and shaked.

Frodd said something in his DS after he was up for eviction last week, that he has built some close friendships in the house which wasn't as strong as it used to be, but he believes it had to do with the mood in the house and everybody playing the game, but he believed the friendship will become strong and good again when everyone leaves the house and drop their strategies. I believe at the end of the game, Ike and Frodd will get back to the close buddies they used to be. The game is getting to them. Everyone see each other as threats or enemies.

LOL. That was a long time ago. Mike is not gullible enough to think his cool persona won't get him nominated. He knows this despite his cruising.

You're confirming what I've been saying. His game IN the house is on point. He reads them and their moves, but they don't see him coming. They don't take him serous while he takes them serious while laughing about it. He's made sure most of them are wrapped up in his fingers. They don't have the balls to even use him with Veto. Ike is very competitive and make sure he takes the tasks serious especially the Veto and HoH tasks that will guarantee him safety.

In order to not to spook Khafi, he let the HoH slide. That's wisdom. Now Khafi won't nominate him and he can nominate her. Smart thinking. The only dent in his game is that he hasn't built enough fanbase ahead of the finals. It will take a bad luck to stop Ike from reaching the finals.

Can't remember it exactly anymore but it had to do with asking Mike that doesn't he think with the all the accolades and praises showered on him on his birthday, the HMs will now see him as competition/threat that needs to be taken out. Mike replied about the HMs being like a family to him irrespective of the game and Ebuka told him "it's not family reunion, trust me, it's definitely a game". The next day, he was up for eviction. grin

He will sail to finals at this rate, and then lose there, like Alex. He has a great game in the house, but his game is weak outside the house and foolish even.

Even the Frodd sef, it was paranoia in that house that got to him. He didn't nominate Ike till yesterday. And that's because last week after he was up for eviction, he thought everybody in that house nominated. That house can fvck with one's mind. Same thing made Elo to think Venita nominated him and Venita to think Frodd nominated her.

If Ike chills with Frodd and they bond for few hours, Frodd will forget everything. Only Cindy is the HM that Ike may struggle to get to his side.

But I agree with you, Ike needs to get more fans ahead of the final instead of being too safe. The guy is a confirm entertainer and deserve a shot at the prize money.

Ike is very smart!

He is. In that house, he's playing a good game. He has made up with Seyi, repaid his debt to Shola which means Shola will hardly betray him. He's got Mercy on his side (and the HMs love Mercy very well), got Diane to his side. Mike is his best friend. He's still close to Tacha. Elo may spare him because of Diane. The only visible strain in his association with the HMs is his sprained friendship with Frodd. Apart from Frodd, Ike MAY cruise to the finals. His decision to not contest the HoH with Khafi made sure Khafi won't feel any type of way towards him for denying her only HoH title.

Ike is smart. The only problem is, him not being up may not help him build enough fanbase. But I think he'll make it to finals.

Sometimes I look at comments and see how Strategically bereft some folks are, especially TeamIke and Frodd whose Faves have a higher percentage of getting new fans from evicted HMs

Las Las this sunday will Benefit Tacha if they let Khafi go

Imagine TeamIke voting Mike or Seyi(who gave their boy 1 strike)
And team Frodd voting Mike(who hates Frodd) or Seyi(who equally Hates him)

Las Las they'd end up being Ike and Frodd' greatest problems because they are strategically Bankrupt

PS: What I dnt get is why these HMs see Ike as a weakling and not a Competitor and to think they are right is very Befuddling

The HMs don't see Ike as a weakling or non-competition, it's just that Ike's game is on point. He's on the good books of all the HMs just like Diane, so it's hard for the HMs to nominate him.

I'm being strategic with my other votes but I'm also fulfilling my promise. My word is my bond. I said it openly here that I will vote Mike for him alone. I gave him my word when I needed his votes. I can't go back on my word. I'll drop some votes for Mike for Chelsea guy and then vote strategically with the rest. I know what I'm doing. Trust me. wink

The emojis up there depict my mood since yesterday. I've been cruising non-stop since yesterday night. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. From Tacha and Seyi shading themselves on eviction night, to pro-Seyi and pro-Tacha fans giving me free flow delivery of gbas gbos gbas. Then Frodd being free from eviction this week, and the ensuing campaigning and decampaigning brouhaha that followed. It's been a pure comedic display. Night of a Thousand Laughs ain't got nothing on this thread. My ribs hurts. grin

I'm voting khafi this week though, personal conviction, because I like her so much.

That was not her reason for nominating Mercy. She said it's because Mercy was sad on Sunday when she survived and it showed her Mercy wanted her to go.

It's a game but he of all people should know better out of the other available options

Frodd and Ike's friendship is a bit strained because of that save and replace, but outside the house or before the season ends, Frodd will get to understand why Ike saved Shola. They will be back.
