babe That place is not dump site, its a major road, a prominent one for that matter, i suggest that the market in that area be relocated, its the heart of town, not cool for visitors to see.

the market in uyo, akwa ibom, also heart of town had to be relocated and rebuilt with a better design.

I never said it was a dump site. I think there was a plan to relocate the market but the natives refused.

It's left for the state government to do something about it.

I remember in 2006 when I was still living in Owerri. On my way to Eke-Ukwu market at Douglas to make my hair, a newborn babygirl was found dead inside a nylon bag with placenta and syringes. The baby was found by the state waste management authority that morning in the refuse dump at Douglas road and it was put on full display for people to see. The baby was strangled to death as her neck faced the opposite direction. It was really an eyesore as people wailed and cursed the mother of the child.

So sad!

Douglas Road is the dirtiest road in Imo state probably because of the market. The dualized road is very narrow and the dirts have covered almost all the road. The traffic on that road is horrible. That is the road I do not wish to pass when I am in Owerri.

The only dirt problem on that road is where the market is. Every other part of the road is clean.

One thing Nnamdi Kanu should know is that Igbos cannot be easily brainwashed with his hate filled Radio Biafra. The common Igbo man is more concerned about how profitable is his business and how he intends feeding his family. Igbos who do business in other places apart from Igbo land do not even pray for war to achieve Biafra because they know they will be the greatest casualties. If it happens,this time around,their properties might not be given back to them as it was in 1970.


It is good to agitate for Biafra but the manner the agitation is going is very bad. Nnamdi Kanu is only creating enemies for Igbos and not fightng for the Biafra cause.

Dragging other ethnic groups to join Biafra is not by force. Igbos can do without them. If the south-south has refused to join Biafra,they have every right to do so!

The OP is employing psychology or sophistry to manipulate gullible folks. Why do you have SE, SS, and SW without corresponding NE, NW, NC?
Also, if there are as many as 500 departments and agencies, it would be erroneous to make an inference based on mere nine appointments. What trend can one see in nine out of about a thousand appointments to make? Your representative sample (about 45 appointments) is also too small and flawed to make any meaningful inference. In addition, many of those names listed are ministers which the president is duty bound, constitutionally, to appoint from their states. It doesn't matter who is ruling, Delta state, for instance must produce a minister. Indeed, all states must produce a minister. Therefore, listing names of ministers to prove impartiality is puerile. Why not wait till Buhari constitute his cabinet and see if he only appoints northerners?

GEJ was a divisive president who never missed an opportunity to advertise his tribalism. Even at a point, OP condemned GEJ's glaring celebration of tribalism. Hear him here:

It's laughable to think a first class tribalist like GEJ could also be described as an impartial president. Some of the reasons he couldn't carry the entire South were not just because he ran a clueless, corrupt and incompetent government, part of them included his glaring tribalism. Nigeria is more than North-South contraption, just because GEJ didn't marginalize the north does not automatically mean he didn't marginalize others even in the South. One man's nationalist can easily be another's tribalist.

I do not regret voting for President Muhammadu Buhari and I have no reason to regret doing so
