Besides what will you be doing?

Please I have a question
I am putting together documents for student visa application and I want my husband and child to come with me.
In writing my SOP, do I make a column or heading for my husband to explain himself too
Or will he have a separate SOP.

Please note he is the sponsor so I will be definitely mentioning him in my SOP as I'm the primary applicant.

Don't waste your time responding to this girl. She should be the one to be called a scammer.
For someone who claims to work in a microfinance bank, she has zero idea of anything related to banking, money transfer and all.
She has being claiming to get admission in over 5 schools in both UK and Canada.

Just go and read all her posts.
E go shock you!!!!

I wonder what she hopes to gain with seeking attention. Next thing she go scam an unsuspecting person.

Be careful guys

Bobomaigida:
I think you should escalate to the school on the issues you are facing, it could be a technical issue or the fact that they have not updated your profile for the payment.

As for FORM A, any one who knows any fast bank might respond to you.

Congratulations on your admission.

Not related to what you asked but how many weeks: months did it take to get an admission decision from humber college after applying ?
Don't mind this girl ooooo.
Do you know how many schools both in UK and Canada she has claimed to receive admission from in the past 2 months?
Just in the beginning of this month, she came here and said she also needed to pay her deposit and everyone suggested different means for her to use.
I really don't know what's up her sleeve.

In Conestoga admission letter received, I'm to to pay a non refundable acceptance deposit of $1,500.
An estimated tuition fees for the first semester of the propram (4) months of study is $10,129.
1. Is the $1,500 non refundable acceptance deposit part of first semester tuition fees? That's $10,129-$1,500=$8,629 balance.
2. If the first semester tuition fees of $10,129 is paid, how much minimum will I need in my account as POF?
From what you have here
1. $1500 is part of your tuition, so you have a balance of $8629.
2. You should also think of the second semester fees (Unless your course is just for 1 semester, which I doubt)
So 2nd semester fees+ 1st semester balance+ 10k living expenses+ miscellaneous of 2k
All in Canadian dollars.

Note that you will have to muiltply the above amount by the number of years your course of study will last. This maybe easier if you have a sponsor who has an active income.

Hi, plz, which app or website did you use to book your flight?

As anyone use the service of Ajala to book flight here cos their price is quite cheaper than the official price of the corresponding airline.
You can get flights as low as 400k economy to Toronto from Abuja. It all depends on the site and time you search n book

Guys Abeg while doing my research noticed Royal Roads University requires $5k Tuition Deposit and what if a person plan is to use M-power to finance both Tuition fee & POF,how person wan do the whole tuition deposit fee thing since M-power dey only realese funds when person collect visa.
LMAO
That is if Mpower will give you loan, because you still need to proof to mpower that you have some money first n have means of paying back. Also know that mpower priorities STEM above most courses.

Like if they ask for student ID.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bernice123456: 6:18am On Mar 14, 2023
It's not mandatory provided she will not have any job to do with kids as a nanny or teaching children or any care job or social welfare/worker. Those jobs a character sensitive so that will be required.

Bamz555:
Thanks a lot.
I learnt it’s not mandatory for a study permit applicant, but just wanna be sure about d spouse going for SOWP (work permit)
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bernice123456: 8:09pm On Mar 10, 2023
You can't use flywire to pay for application fee.
Use a dollar card or dollar virtual card.
Or ask someone abroad to help you make the payment.
Aminatola:
I tried using flywire to pay for my application fee (University of Regina), while filling the form there was a column dey asked for applicant ID. They said it's nine digits, Please how will I generate that?

Black market?
Flywire is like black market.
What you do is to open flywire
Put the name of the school you are paying and the amount in CAD
They will show you the equivalent in naira.
Then you go ahead and pay just like every other online payment. Your naira account will be debited.
You should have something like this

That may not be entirely correct seeing as it's the only option stated for international payments.
Besides I used flywire to make a payment to Trent university. The payment was acknowledge after 2 days.

Greetings to you All,

Please I need help in extending my study permit in Canada. My visa and study permit was approved last year August 2022 and would expire by April 2023 because that's when my passport validity expires. I have gotten a new passport here in Canada and would like to extend my study permit to cover the duration of my studies. But the problem is: I cannot see the application for my case on the IRCC website. I only see the application for changing of school. Please has anyone encountered similar issues?
I need assistance urgently.

Thanks

My dear, you took a huge uncalculated risk. You didn't raise this question since until you had less than 24hours deadline?

You can either write to the school to extend deadline and pray the reply within 24 hours.

Then pay your fees using flywire that's if it is tuition deposit. Flywire takes 2-3 days to process payment.
If the fees to pay is huge, (above 2500 cad) ask if you can make installment payments by making the first installment using flywire then make the rest using Form A

All the best.
I'm not an expert in this.
This is just what I did.

ChiomaMC:
Please my people
I'm confused ooo. On generating my deposit fee invoice from my school portal which is through ICBC student pay, it was stated that I take the invoice to my bank or online and payment must be initiated on or before 7th March. I used this invoice to fill my Form A (I'm sure that's the next thing to do), which has not been processed yet. My question is since it takes up to two months for Form A to be processed, and definitely the fees won't get to CIBC by 7th March, what happens next?. Or does the Form A that I have filled suffice this period time frame they gave on my fee invoice? I don't understand this things abeg
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bernice123456: 5:42pm On Mar 03, 2023
This is one of the reasons why people use "sponsors".
At least you should show proof for 1 year then show proof that you have a reliable source of income for the second year.

This is my thought.
I'm not in anyway an expert.

Good luck

SLOVFO:
Wow!
My tuition fee for the duration of the 2 years study is $20,900+$20,000 that's $40,900. And the living expenses should be a minimum of $20,000 for two years. So if I get you correctly, I should fill the form thus:
Tuition = $40,900
Room and board = $20,000
Other=
Funds available for my stay = at least $60,900

If this is the case, I may defer my application as I don't have this sum ($60,900) in my bank account.

🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is a joke right?
You don't have any relationship with this lady, yet you want to go as "dependant"?
You should look up the meaning of the word dependant first.

Uncle, use that money you want to "contribute" and start your own application.

Crested4life:
I have a female friend, a divorcee with 2 kids.
She was given study permit for a program in Canada (2yrs) and she is going alone. Her kids are with her exhusband's parents. She has a good relationship with them but the agreement is that after she is through with school and obtained extension to work, she will come and pick them.

I want to join her as her dependent just to use the opportunity to leave. We both agreed but we don't know what it will take and the requirements.

Like what is the possibility it will work considering we are not married nor living together and we have no evidence to show we are lovers? We both don't plan to settle down. I am 8years younger than her.
