Try entering from Montreal. If you use air Canada or Lufthansa, some usually land there first then book a connecting flight to your final destination. Be sure to allow a longer layover time to accommodate the time you will spend with CBSA . Adez1: Good day house

Your agent is right. You actually need to show all funds for your study, however, if you have a reliable source of funds, then you need to demonstrate and explain it very well in your SOP. These are my thoughts thou.... Stardor: Please I need candid advice and opinions, my agent is making me tensed about this travel thing as regards POF, agent is saying I need to show proof of complete 2 years tuition, I have already paid first semester tuition, my spouse is my co sponsor, and I initially planned to show proof of the balance of first year tuition and my 2 years living expenses, while the plan on how to raise the second year tuition will be explained in my Sop, now agent is saying I have to show proof of complete amount needed for my study and still have extra.. making up the extra would cost me a whole lot, sometimes I feel like backing out, the stress is getting too much.. Please I need advice, for those who used co sponsors did you show proof of full tuition for the duration of the study? |

Please I have a question as regards this NOC, I will really appreciate your response. So I have been working with a company for a long while now, and the title of the job is "technical sales officer". If I look up that title it falls under teer 4 and doesn't qualify for EE. Also the job description doesn't match my role at the job (even though we don't have a "written" job role in my appointment letter) My direct boss can give you a whole state to supervise sales and all that......
My question: do I find the description of job role that meets mine and then adopt that title or do I just pick that Noc code and still put my job title? |

Ayinke93: Your MBA alone carries more points than two or more certificates. So you are good. HND gives two or more certificates when evaluated with an OND and BSC holders can get two or more certificates by getting an extra certification e.g ACCA, BCS and co Thank you so much for that clarification. God bless you |

Afolavid: 1. Yes, you only evaluate MBA since it's the highest educational qualification. No, MBA is equivalent to Masters Degree, so you select Masters, not 2 or more certificates, which gives even more points.
2. No, it doesn't. Those are Temporary resident applications while EE is a Permanent resident application. However, make sure you declare your refusals when asked. Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate. Please in which case can one declare 2 or more certificates? My HND n MBA are not 2 certificates |

Good afternoon all.
Please I need some clarification as regards documents required for EE application. If one has OND, HND, PGD & MBA will it be only the MBA that will be evaluated by WES and when filling the option in the FSW for education will I select the option of 2 or more degrees.
2. Please does past refusals have a negative effect on ones application? We tried a SP, SOWP route and was denied before. |

I'm considering going to UBA to get their dollar card this morning. Please has anyone used a UBA dollar card to pay for an application of recent, and it went through? If yes, what is the requirement to get the card?
If there is any other bank dollar card that works seamlessly please suggest to me I used First Bank muilt-currency account recently and it paid over 800 CAD. I opened the account newly and funded it. Got ATM card (takes about 5days). You will need to activate the 2 pins (d normal atm pin and the internet banking pin) and you are good to go. |

hardeyeanc: Hi people of God, I need clarification, I applied for Mpower to find my tuition fee even though I've not applied to the school, I just saw Mpower went through their website and realized Trent University is part of the school they support, I've not submitted my application to Trent University because their tuition deposit is 2500 CAD (non refundable) thats kind of risky to me.. after registering with Mpower I got the attached mail? I want to ask
How has used Mpower financing here before?
1. Are they going to pay the full school fee ( tuition deposit inclusive) this depends on the amount you requested for. They may give you the amount you requested for or a little less. No, they will not pay for your tuition deposit. Note that you first have to apply to school, then get your LOA, use that LOA to apply for loan, Trent tuition deposit most be paid within 2 weeks of acceptance of admission. Mpower doesn't disburse any money to school until you have enrolled at the school. That means you can be approved for a loan however you need to get visa and enroll before the loan is disbursed for you. 2. Does this mail mean I'm actually qualified to be financed? Or there are still more processes to follow? You still need to provide some documents for your loan to be approved. But it's not as tedious as visa documents.
3. What IRCC's take on getting this kind of fund, will they honor it and will it increase ones chance of getting visa or not? IRCC honors student loans, I don't know about it "increasing your chance" of getting visa. I know some people on this thread that got visa with mpower loan for Trent university.
4. What do you advise? to go ahead and applied to the school or not it's just for me to pay the application fee but when I saw the non refundable tuition deposit of 2500 CAD I paused. Lol. It's your choice. Nothing good comes easy. I'm sure if it was that easy, many people would choose this option of not "having any money" and applying for student loan.
Thanks in advance |

Send an email to the school, you should probably look for the international student email address or the admission unit email address, any will serve. Just tell them your challenge, they are more responsive than you imagine (my experience though). Good luck |

As regards the Nigerian Student Express (NSE) study permit option which requires a minimum of 30,000 CAD on ones bank account to cover first year tuition and living expenses , IELTs and upfront medicals. Does someone who has paid his full year tuition fee upfront but has about 18000CAD in bank account and additional financial funding support from his/her Canadian university also qualified for it? NSE is no longer available. Use your available funds to apply normally. The wait time now is quite reduced |

burk: Good morning my people. Please i want to ask if i can apply for a student permit with my visitor visa inside Canada and which school is accepting application for September 2023 intake. Thank you all You can apply for a study permit from inside Canada. If you applied for your study permit from inside Canada If you were eligible to apply from inside Canada We’ll mail your study permit to the Canadian address you included in your application.
If you followed the instructions to apply for a study permit from outside Canada In this case, you filled out the form called Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada [IMM 1294]. If your application is approved, you’ll get an approval letter that says you’re allowed to study in Canada. This letter is called the port of entry letter of introduction.
Once you have this letter, you must leave and ask to get your study permit on return to Canada.Copied from IRCC website. Go to the website and read up |
