The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Ibrahim Garba says Senator Dino Melaye GRADUATED as Daniel Jonah Melaye with Bachelor of Arts in Geography in the year 2000 based on available records.

He told the senate committee under oath on Tuesday that Dino Melaye graduated with a third class.

How Dino came about his 3rd class statement of result has been revealed. Departmental staffs has claimed that Dino sill has some outstanding carry over courses he is yet to clear as revealed in the transcripts made available online.
This is why Nigeria educational system is not respected abroad due to manipulations like this.
ABU Management is ready to stake their reputation on a fraud like Dino.

Apart from ABU certificates, other foreign universities where Dino claimed to have graduated from has denied he ever graduated from their institution.
How low can we sink in this country of too many fraudulent people? And this applies to both the leaders and the led.

Your submission is as malicious as it is ludicrous. The issue of buhari certificate was addressed long before the 2015 election. He(buhari) even addressed a press conference where he confirmed he sat for the exams and also stated his grade. If not for a mere mischief,you think the pdp, which was in power at the time, would just have sat back and allowed him contest the election knowing full well that O'level is the basic academic qualification. If you are confident that buhari's academic qualifications are in doubt ,then go to court and prove your case. Don't also forget if buhari's claims turn out to be untrue,that's enough to get him out of office and straight to jail,so what are you waiting for?

There is no way you can climb through the ranks of any institution, sit for several exams and promotions, attends various screenings both home and abroad without have a certificate. Somebody somewhere must have objected and terminated his career,if this were true. The "certificate" lies were peddled by pdp and backed by their corrupt army sympathizers in the last elections. And when they contact Buhari school then it take them less than 2days go give statements about it, Even all the schools he attended both in US and India also have come out to defend him even before the election.. Most of his mates that sat for the Exam together have also some out to defend him so what else do you want?


Now it's over a week and ABU still yet to make official statement about the issue, Harvard University and LSE have come out to deny him, No record of his NYSC, No course mates have come out to defend even those that come out said he was impeached for stealing and fraud so what's the similarities here?

Buhari had been told by the PDP to present his WASC results. It is not clear what eventually happened as after he won the election, everything about it died off.

While reacting to the article that listed prominent Nigerians with certificate scandals with Buhari and many others mentioned, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said that Buhari did not fit into the categorisation because he had no certificate scandal.

The presidential spokesman said the issue of Buhari’s certificate was raised by those who wanted him disqualified from the presidential race.

He said the issue was however successfully dealt with before the election, saying the President has no certificate case hanging on his neck.

So many undergraduates enter the University with what is termed "Awaiting Results", you would then have up till 2nd Semester to present your result or be kicked out.

How is "Awaiting Result" any different from “I recommend him fit for military commissioning, I consider that he will pass the WASC examination in English, Math and three other subjects.” ?

During my days you get admission into the university with only your statement of result and testimonial, I never submitted my WAEC certificate to my university, in fact it was after I graduated that I went to my school and applied for my WAEC certificate.

You are saying what you don't know Bros, a university might undergo a little restructuring of its courses and faculty.
I will give you a Typical example of FUTMINNA.

1. Initially, they have course known as Mathematics/Computer science, under the school of Science.

2. Thy have courses like Library and information technology under the school of science

3. Later some faculties were created, Library and information Technology was then moved to school of ICT) Information and communication technology) then to School of technology Education and later to school of science and technology education.

4. Department like Geology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, physics, chemistry were all under school of science but they were later shared, some to pure and applied sciences and physical sciences

5. Department of Computer engineering was formerly under School of Engineering but has been moved to ICT

This is a scenario of the school I graduated from, it's possible his departments was moved as a result of restructuring.

(Note that we don't use faculty in FUT but school)

I know for sure that, Dino will never go to court if he doesn't have the results, or better still, he has a way to cover up before embarking on a legal battle.

1. Dino Melaye - Stood against Magu's confirmation, and the next thing you hear is he is not a graduate...

2. Saraki insists that Ali the CG of Customs must appear before the senate in Uniform - next news item is Saraki imported cars without paying duties...

3. Some judges insist that the FG must honor the bail granted Dasuki, and pronto they are arrested and charged for corruption...

4. Ozekhome SAN appears as counsel to Fayose - next thing you hear is he collected 70m from Dasuki loot and he is arrested...

These cases are not mere coincidences!

These people may well have committed these crimes but why use subterfuge to deal with them.

My position is that any one alleged to have committed a crime should be held to account to the full extent of the Law.

But in doing that we must try as much as possible to avoid being seing as pursuing vendettas against people.

The leadership of MACBAN has always come out to take responsibility for Fulani killings across the country but none of their leaders has ever been held to account, and this is quite troubling.
