Yes, in his application if he's asked about previous visa denial he needs to state it oo. They still have the record so better to be truthful

Hello all, If my brother was denied a Canada Visitor visa before he turned 18years does he need to state this in his current application? He is applying with my parents as a dependent. Thanks for your response.

TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Berylstanz: 2:41pm On May 06, 2022
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. My parents were asked to schedule a follow up interview and received the letter below. I just want to know if you received the same, because they are not sure if they are meant to go into the embassy or go the dhl and resubmit…because on the new interview info the address is showing the dhl office..thanks for your response

BizErikah:
A journey that began on 23rd March, has finally ended.
I was refused and asked to come in on any Thursday for a follow up interview
I got there and was told to submit fingerprints.
Which I did and application changed to issued.
I picked up passport on 28th April in Abuja.
Same day I got a pick up mail from DHL.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, it helped me mentally.
Cos this people are totally unpredictable.

I was able to fly out sane 28th.

Please declare it. My friends name was keyed into the system( she didn't have money to pay the fine) because she didn't declare and she didn't know her friends mum put kilishi in the things she gave her for the daughter.
Just seeing this...thanks.. Thank a God I declared it

My travel experience from Nigeria to Windsor Canada . Flew Egypt air, was given only my Lagos to Cairo ticket in Nigeria, got my Cairo to Windsor tickets in Egypt, black eyed beans got seized in Cairo, kilishi too collected in Toronto (I actually declared it)..experience at P.O.E went smooth...wasn't asked any questions ..except what I was declaring..was directed to go get my study permit, also got my SIN... Checked in my luggage. I made a mistake of changing all my money at the airport(not so much though 2k) before realizing the rates were lower!!.. Got to Windsor on time. The plane to Windsor is so small so they don't carry a lot of luggages..I got my first luggage and was waiting for the next one when they just closed the place and said that was all for today and if our luggage wasn't there we have to fill a missing bag form...my heart was in my mouth like literally .. Long story short the lady said we could still check the missing bags room.. Finally saw my bag in there as it was sent on an early flight. Having your accommodation settled before getting here will do u a lot of Good as I had it stress free settling in. It's been so cold this past 2days wasn't like that the day I arrived.

Good morning House,

Yahweh has glorifed his name .I give all glory to GOD that i am here to celebrate with my TRV applicants , hopefuls
and to encourage those who were delayed. I know exactly where i was this same time last year, on my birthday
i received that sad mail that my application was refused due to the reasons :

1. insufficient funds
2. Home ties ,personal assests

Then help came along - I discovered this forum , and read through the relevant contributions from veterans like @maziude, @canadianurse , @Austinpee4 @Osemigho @SURGEE
guys you rock ,thanks for your invaluable insight and help.

For guys that were delayed - dont wait start early order your gcms notes . dont rush to re-apply instead think like the VO and ask yourself all the questions that you think may invalidate your application . Your application needs to be watertight to be eligible. You need to convince the VO to see your application as inalienable . Dont see your application from your eyes alone seek help as early as possible -Prov 15:22 'Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed' .

Hello everyone. A very quick one. I was at my bank today to apply for PTA and I didn't spend more than 30minute to obtain the dollars. All I took there was my flight ticket, passport and visa page with my admission letter. For those that said you can't get PTA/BTA with one way ticket is false news. As long as you are going for a year or more you are entitled to it. I wish all trv hopeful a big sucx.
Which bank please?..I went to Zenith and diamond bank but they said I needed a return ticket and pta was for short trips because it's normally given to the banks quarterly by cbn

On the study permit form(IMM1294E)I just filled in my previous work experience
While on the other form asking for gap year I just wrote not applicable..the gap was too small to call a gap year

Bro, u will have to go to VAC office "in person" with the photocopy of your passport that VAC gave you to keep after you did your submission. That is the only way you can collect your passport. The new rule is that, if one does not pay for courier service when submitting, he can only collect his/her passport in person with the photocopy given to him. And you can't pay for dem to courier your passport if you didn't pay when submitting. Before travelling to collect it, be sure from VAC office that the passport is ready for pick-up first. This is very important.

As you are new here, it good you give us your profile and documents you submitted that led to your success so other can be inspired and learn from your experience.

Congrats buddy. Book your flight!

Hi guys,

I am sort of new here although I sometimes check the thread for guidelines.

got my trv approved yesterday but I am presently in Enugu. Thinking about using a courier service to bring it down here but while going through the vfs website they said
"Applicants have to come in person for collection of documents or ""PAY FOR COURIER AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION""
Does it mean it's too late to use a courier service since I didn't pay for that when submitting ny application?
And if it's not too late, how do I pay for the service since it's stated on the site that payment has to be in cash at the cvac counter?
