APPLICATION FORM FOR THE 2016/2017 SCREENING OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION TO NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY
GUIDELINES:

1. All candidates who made Niger Delta University their first choice and scored 180 and above in the 2015/2016 UTME, should pay the sum of three thousand, five hundred naira (N3,500.00) only into Diamond Bank Plc. NDU School Fees Account Number (0016405919) and Eco Bank Limited NDU School Fees Account Number (3042004288) nation-wide, being the cost of the Screening process.

2. Candidates should photocopy the Bank teller issued to them immediately after payment of the above sum.

3. Four hours after payment of the Screening fee, go on-line to cse.sarmsndu.org, click "get-e-pin" option to print your e-pin.

4. Use the e-pin to complete the Screening Form. Ensure that a recent colour passport-size photograph which must be sharp, showing candidate's face clearly with no head gear is scanned.

5. Print a copy of the Form you have filled from the website. 6. The deadline for on-line submission of Application Form is 1st July, 2016. Note: Niger Delta University will not be held liable if you provide an invalid GSM number and e-mail address.

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr Seriake Dickson, on Thursday disclosed that the state government could no longer continue funding the state-owned Niger Delta University in Wilberforce Island, Amassoma.
Dickson, who spoke during a meeting with the Governing Council and principal officers of NDU in Government House, Yenagoa, noted that he could not sustain the existing funding system owing to the present poor financial standing of the state.
He called on the striking workers and management of the only state-owned university in the state to be more resourceful and innovative in generating revenue for the institution.
The governor noted that a situation where the state government’s monthly subvention of about N480 million is spent on only the university’s recurrent expenditure was ‘unsustainable’.
He harped on the need for the University leadership to be prudent in the use of funds, with a view to enabling the institution gain some degree of financial autonomy.
Dickson called on the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU, to call off the ongoing strike action caused by the sharp drop in state revenues.

Don't let the price of fresh tomatoes frustrate you .. Opt for carrot .. Blend ur carrot, fresh pepper,Big ball pepper(Red) and onion all together. Fry them as u would with the fresh tomatoes. Add ur tin tomato sauce. And thank me later .. Remember to boil the carrot a little to soften before blending. Enjoy

POST UTME HAS NOT BEEN SCRAPPED! read the statement carefully institution might wish to conduct screening for their candidates.

The government explained that all tertiary institutions were at liberty to conduct screening for candidates seeking admission into any school.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) N.D.U chapter has been called to end the on going strike with effect from Monday being 23rd May 2016..the state government has promised that lecturers will be paid from the said date through Miss Ugo OPUTY..Secretary to the state government on Academic Welfare, However notice has been pasted on the school official website saying its resumption would be on the 30th may, however enabling student's travel down and prepare for their postponed exams.... Aluta continua.

No work resumption without at least 3months payment so debunk that circular... Its 101 percent false.

FYI, God is good motors is just a very good brand name, same cannot be said of their services, from very old buses to sleepy drivers, they charge a premium for services other transporters charge a token for. Take for example: Effurun to Lagos, companies like agofure, charge 2500-2800( depends on the fuel situation), and use buses in pristine condition, so that customers will enjoy the journey, GIG charges you #3,500, and you get old buses, worn out drivers and faulty air condition unit, GIG charges you more for "executive" buses (same buses agofure uses @ 2500-2800)...

that was how i was charged #5,500 for a short roofed"messed up seats&no space to stretch legs"bus on a long distance journey whereas lag to warri were given executive long roofed buses..

before opening the thread, i knew its was GiG.. Wonder why they don't put thier drivers on a shift.. They just assign a bus to one driver and make him work from around the clock not minding the fact that most of them get to thier destination around 11pm and yet still have to drive human beings as early as 5am the next day.. #No value for human life at all..Just because of cutting cost in between employing more drivers.
