Afamefuna, son of the late Biafran warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu has made his debut in the traditional Igbo society with an Ijele dance, IgbereTV reports.

His mother, Bianca shared photos from the occasion which was also the 10th Ojukwu Memorial Day in Owerri, Imo State.

To fight this corruption with him were characters like one Sani Abacha, ibrahim Babangida and all other multi billionaire military politicians you read of today.

The 2nd republic as imperfect as it was, can never be used to compare with the tragedy we have today! Folks like Solomon Lar, Dee Mbakwe, Jakande, Bola Ige, Adesanya, Adeshina and all other relatively hardworking politicians were involved. Some of them were sent to prisons because 5 or 6 bags of rice were seen in their houses by the same Buharis vindictive government that allowed a northern emir disappear with "dozens of suitcases".

This country has suffered a whole lot under Buharis wayward ambitions! This country would have been far ahead than where it finds itself today, if Buhari and his gang of ruthless thieves didn't connive to topple that government in December 1983! Countries like Indonesia, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia and even the koreans were not doing better than Nigeria at this period! It was after Buhari and Abacha and Babangida took turns to rape the living day out of Nigeria that we found ourselves competing with Chad and Niger republic..

You have said it all. Hypocrisy has always been the problem in this country. Broad daylight Robbers masquerading as anti corruption crusaders. Buhari has nailed this country.

The Ojukwu Memorial Day celebration, an annual event in honour of the late Biafra Leader Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, which took place recently at Owerri, the Imo State Capital was a carnival like extravaganza which kicked off with an interdenominational service, a memorial lecture and erupted into a fiesta of different cultural displays featuring all the major masquerades in Igboland, a colourful military parade, traditional dancers, dramatization of Biafra warfront satire , agricultural produce exhibitions as well as live bands featuring Igbo highlife music.

It was a mammoth crowd at the Ojukwu Memorial Library and Conference Centre Owerri, venue of the spectacular event . The Ceremony which had the widow of the late igbo icon, Mrs Bianca Ojukwu in attendance , was hosted by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike BIM/MASSOB leader and comprised of several dignitaries , traditional rulers, clergy, various Igbo youth associations and women’s groups as well as Biafra war veterans .
