There are sometimes that we, as humans, should sit ourselves down and try to evaluate who we really are. These are the times that we should ask ourselves questions like;"who am I? What are the things that I do? Are they good or bad? Am I good to others?
Whether we like it or not, who we are is perceived as a function of our interactions with others.
         Simply put, the first time I meet u, what I notice is your skin colour, dress, whatever you lay out there to be seen, as we go further to communicating with each other, your attitude and response gives me a subtle idea about who you really are. Now, if  you talked rude, or snubbed me, or smiled politely and answered politely too, or even behaved arrogantly, I pretty much conclude that how u reacted is who you are. What I'm getting at is, your attitude depicts who you are to people. Whether you are warm inside, or nice to the less privileged or whatever,people are more likely to judge you based on their interactions with you ie. Your attitude is you. You are your attitude.
            At the same time, there are those who wouldn't get to know you firsthand or get to interact with you closely before they conclude that you are something you know you are clearly not. It hurts, its annoying, its very frustrating too, but really, why should you care?
That's their problem, if they don't care to know you, then you should not pay attention to what their opinions are. More than half of the time,  some people don't use their senses anyway so my dear, figure out who you are, improve on your attitude towards others. If you are satisfied and recognise yourself to be a warm, loving, person then what does it matter what other think? B

Several people at one point or the other have drawn God’s attention to themselves by lifting up their hands to Heaven. This is a symbolic way of saying, “Lord I trust you totally with my life.” You are telling God that unless He helps you, there is nothing you can do about your situation. One person who did this several times was Moses. At the Red Sea, God commanded him to lift his hands, and you know the end of the story. There is something highly significant about the hands of Moses; they were very special. Even in the battle between the children of Israel and the Amalekites, the war was won simply by Moses raising his hands up to heaven. Anytime you lift up your hands to God, you are showing your reliance and total dependence on Him. There are people struggling through life. They wake up very early and return home very late, and yet there is nothing significant to show for all their efforts. It requires more than human effort to succeed in life. You need the divine support of the Almighty God. Never trust in your position, because position is never permanent. Never trust in your intellect, because no matter how much you know, your intellect is too small to comprehend the ways of God. Never trust in your money, because money can develop wings and fly away. Put your total and absolute trust in God.

The more you look up to God, the more victories He will deliver into your hands on a platter. If anyone who is of God raises his hands to bless you, you can rest assured that you are blessed. You need to also pray to God that through your hands, there will be manifestation of signs and wonders. Apostle Paul so many exploits with his hands. Your hands are very significant to the fulfilment of your destiny. This is why you cannot afford to toy with sin. You must be willing to engage your hands in doing things that are pleasing to God. When you serve a man of God with your hands, you are automatically transferring grace to yourself. Don’t allow your hands to be lazy. Engage your hands in soul-winning and setting the captives free. Anytime you need empowerment from God, go to His presence as an empty vessel that is waiting to be filled and empowered. Lift up your hands to him so that He will know you have come to exchange your weakness for His strength. Never go before the Almighty God with the notion that you have it all. Expose all your frailties, weaknesses and failings to Him and you can be sure that before you leave His presence, you would have been filled, and whatever you lay your hands upon will begin to prosper. May that be your portion in Jesus’ Name.  
Prayer Point

Father, as I present my hands to You, let every dead thing my hands touch begin to receive life.

Often times, freshers, undergraduates and students who are just straight out of secondary school miss out on a lot of scholarship opportunities available to them perhaps because they were never informed, or doubted the fact that they could actually be selected awardees and beneficiaries of these opportunities. Well, if you fall under any of the two categories, I'm here to enlighten you. I'm fully aware of a lot of students and awardees benefitting from these scholarships: Agbami, Chevron, Total, MTN, Local, State,Federal, Private individuals, Shell scholarship etc and although they have criterias and set rules, it does not cost you anything to apply and you can apply for multiple scholarships, you can also be selected to benefit from more than one of them. The advise I have for you is to try to stay informed, ask around your school, from friends, Google scholarship opportunities, check "www.nairaland.com" for scholarship opportunities too. Furthermore, read the criteria, some scholarships are for selected departments and faculties in school, eg. Agbami(medicine,engineering etc) , some scholarships are strictly for university students alone too, while some are for all undergraduates whether technical schools, college of education, state or federal. Also, some scholarships are awarded to students of 100l alone, while some 200l alone, while some above 200l, my point is ensure you check and read the "Who Should Apply?" icon carefully and then go ahead to fill your real details as requested if you fulfill all requirements. Furthermore,  some of these scholarships require that you attain a certain CGPA and maintain it throughout your stay in school, hence, try your possible best to achieve high scores and good grades in your choice of study, study hard, be focused, spend extra hours reading and above all pray. God's favour will locate you. Some churches like the Redeemed Christian Church of God also offers students scholarship, join the workforce, be a registered worker. Now, don't say any of this is stressful because it is not at all. You can always apply on your phone. Nawa ooo!!! Odikwa serious sturves!!! Ehn shebi if you even want to wear waist trainer, one af do!! Which one is 4?? Ndooo aunty,sorry!! Some ladies tho?? 
      The thing with waist trainers is that they are quite uncomfortable as they compress the abdomen so that the stomach appears flat, whilst also giving the wearer an appearance of a tiny waist ie figure 8.. 
     Lots of female celebrities also wear them but you cannot achieve that figure by wearing a trainer when going out alone, indeed it curbs the intake of food as you can almost not breathe already as it is, it allows you eat just a little while it's on. But if you really want to achieve the figure you desire. First, curb your food intake and rest more to allow normal digestion and breakdown of food to occur. Furthermore, cut down or better still completely eliminate soft drinks eg. coca cola, fanta, pepsi, etc because the amount of sugar in those drinks are enough to make anyone obese, you should cut down on junks too, and fatty foods. Take more water and fruits that contain water eg watermelon, oranges, etc. You can even make it fun and blend them together to make smoothies and fruit juices. In addition, skipping meals and bad eating disorders does not help to lose weight rather you tend to gain more. More importantly, exercise often. Unfortunately, exercise has not really been adopted as a crucial part of our lifestyle by a lot of people in these parts and this should not be. 
You have to move around, sweat, burn the sugar then the fat. Thank God for the Internet, there is a wide range of different exercises available for us, it's fun and not even as boring as some of us imagine it to be. Exercise helps to do a lot in our body even besides burning fat, it is important to regulate our blood pressure, for metabolism and studies have shown that people who exercise more hardly fall to the risk of High blood pressure, cardiac arrest, etc. Let's live a healthy lifestyle.B

I'm not even a Muslim. I am a genuine christian but the truth is what I posted. People choose and decide to be good or bad, they only use an excuse to affiliate themselves with a particular religion. Yes, it may be controversial but since they are not all practising it, we can't say their religion makes them terrorists.

With the rampant terrorist attacks in Nigeria, especially in the northern states like Borno, Jos, Zamfara, Sokoto etc. Islam does not promote terrorism in any way. I have Muslim friends, all of whom are amazing and God fearing, I have also met other Muslims who are religion crazy with very bad attitudes, in like manner, i have met amazing, friendly, God fearing, funny Christians and the very rude, religion crazy, confused, twisted ones too.
What I'm driving at is, our religion contributes to who we are, our belief makes us a better person if it's the right one and indeed our religion is a big part of who we are, but what makes us who we are, the whole definition of who we are is our character and personality. A person can be bad irrespective of whether he has a religion or not. Religion doesn't define us wholly. We make our choices, these terrorist chose their paths. They chose to kill, no one made them do that. Every human has this thing called conscience, whether you believe in God or not, your conscience tells you when you are doing wrong or about to do wrong, you could choose to listen to that little voice in your head, and you could also choose to ignore, but when you constantly ignore that voice, it tends to stop talking and sort of dies or leave. The Christian believes it's the Holy Spirit that guides us through our day to day life and action, He talks to us and similar to our conscience, it leaves after seeing He is being ignored.
Once a man has a dead conscience he does anything without caring the consequence. These terrorists have no conscience, they have no religion, they don't believe in the God of the Christians or Muslims. No true God will every request that any man be killed for Him. Let's not associate terrorism with religion, Islam is not terrorism. Terrorists have no excuses, they even kill their supposed Islam brothers and sisters, now how do u kill people affiliated to the religion u claim commands you to kill. Shouldn't there be exception? Before you tag everyone terrorist, before you tag anyone a terrorist, before you tag a particular religion terrorists. Look around you, if everyone of them are not obeying the law that "allegedly" asks that other people of different religion be killed, then there is something wrong somewhere. The world has enough of war, death, pain, disunity and barriers. Let's not create a problem that doesn't even exist.
Let's all stand against "Terrorism" as one! . We are one body and one flesh, one nation, Nigeria. May the good Lord cleanse our land, eradicate all terrorism wherever they originate from and above all may the love of God be in our hearts for one another in Jesus name. B

I don't get why most of you, I'm referring to guys now, why you choose to take a great, loyal, faithful, God loving girl for granted. It's not even enough to cheat on her, you disrespect her also and then, finally, when she finally decided to leave, your brain resets and you start begging her back just to repeat the same cycle all over again.
There is a picture I saw online one time, it says"you don't know what you have till u lose it", but the quote was crossed and replaced with, "you know what you've always had, you just never knew that they would leave and you would lose 'em.
A good girl that gets treated like trash, lied to, cheated on, mocked and disrespected should not be judged for changing into a bad bitch. Experience makes people who they are, our environment contributes to our genotype.  But, even though I could never know how hurt and heartbroken you feel, I want you to remember that you alone are in control of how you react to your emotions. Don't let your emotion rule your sense of judgement. If someone fails to see how special you are, then maybe He wasn't the right guy.
Guys, don't worry I'm coming for the girls soon. But please, how about you treat a lady how you would want your daughter treated. And if you have feelings for someone else, tell her nicely, its better than cheating and wasting her time. Above all, remember, a good girl is worth so much more than a bad bitch.  Ladies, love a man who loves God more than he love you because when a man fears God, he would try his best not to hurt you.
Above all, remember that you cannot keep hurting good people and expect God to be okay with it.B

Bible text: John 16:24, psalm 16:11, Revelations 7:17, Job 17:7,Proverb 29:18, 15:13, 17:22, 1kings 19:1-4.
Tonight someone will go home with fullness of joy 
You will cry 3 times to heaven when 3 things happen.:-
1. Tears of joy when you make heaven
2. Tears when fire tests your work
3. Tears of regret when you are being rewarded wishing you did more while you still had time.
 Above all things, rejoice, for God promises to wipe away your tears. Pastor tells a short story.
Story
There was a woman in one of the islands in rivers state years ago, early in d morning, she would always wake up, take calabash, go to the beach and bail water from the ocean from morning to evening. When asked, she said;"her only son went abroad to study, travelling by boat(long time ago), when he finished studying, he travelled back by boat, while coming down the steps of the boat, he saw his mother and in the bid to rush to greet her out of excitement, he slipped and fell into the ocean. Till date, his body was never found. 
Stand up on your feet and pray to God.
Prayer 
Father, we are in agreement. There shall be no more sorrow.
Prophecy
Prophecy to your neighbour saying,"you shall weep no more"
Joy:- opposite of sorrow
There are different kinds of joy. There is:
1.Great Joy:- comes as a joy of restoration ie. when opportunities that have been lost is restored(2nd Samuel 6:1-15).  
Prayer 
Every opportunity that I have lost, Father, restore unto me.
2.Exceedingly great joy:- this is the joy you have when you reach your goal (Matthew 2:1-10)
Prophesy
In Jesus Name, by the time you get home, you will meet exceeding great joy. 
*Study (1Samuel 17:1-52) the story of David and Goliath. The devil knew that David was to be crowned king so he sent first a lion, then a bear, then Goliath.   Goliath said;" if I win, the kingdom of Israel becomes mine" but to the glory of God, one by one they fell. That was why finally, wen Goliath hit the ground, the whole nation shout for Joy. 
Prophecy 
Very soon, after you share your testimony, the whole nation will shout for joy.(Exodus 15:1-21, revelations. 15:3)
Story
Two men quarrelled in a village in Ondo State, one said to the other;"by the time I finish with you, you will regret coming to this world". Couple of weeks later, the man died. His children came to the village to bury him. The first son returned from Germany to bury his dad, after the burial, while going back , he was involved in an accident and died, his corpse was carried back to the village,the mother saw the corpse, collapsed and died. Other siblings were involved in an accident and died leaving one male son behind. He was a medical student at University of Ibadan, he ran mad in campus, he was taken to Aro, go a little better, sent back to the village, the evil man saw him and was surprised. Thank God for Jesus,when Pastor Adeboye met him, his eyes were crimson red, God set him free, he told his story. Pastor asked him not to return to the village, God provided scholarship, he later came back to greet Daddy at Ebute meta, Daddy G.O knew then what it means for one to have exceeding great joy.
Prayer
Every obstacle between you and your goal, father destroy them tonight.

3. Joy Unspeakable :- (1Peter 1:3-8, Romans 8:31-32) this is the joy you have when you have Christ.
Story
Pastor E.A Adeboye had an uncle, he has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord now, he was staying with his uncle in 1950's. His uncle was a poor man,they loved each other, there was this day that he had nothing, meaning they both had nothing. They sat down, terribly hungry, no hope for food. Then a girl came in carrying a bowl of pounded yam, steamed with chicken soup, the girl said,"my sister said I should give you food, they didn't know the girl, then they asked,"who is your sister? We don't know her, after she mentioned name, they still didn't recognise the name, his uncle said was she sure, she said this is the address her sister gave, his uncle then thanked her and apologised for not having anything for give her. The girl left, immediately they descended on the pointed yam and chicken, while breaking the bones of the chicken after the satisfying their hunger, the girl came back saying she delivered to the wrong house. 
Prophecy 
Just to show you that I am a Sovereign God, I can do what I like, the blessing that's not yours' will be give to you.
To fully understand the joy of having Christ, you have to first compare with the sorrow of a back slider. 
Story
G.O went to Zambia for a ministration, after the ministration, at the airport, he was praying, one guard drew near and said they were not supposed to park there, the G.O replied and said "we are not parking, we are just praying", the guard then began to sob, he said,"i used to be a christian, I used to pray like this, but no more". 
Prayer
Stand up on your feet and say,"Father, please don't let anything take Jesus away from me" 
4. Full Joy:- this is the joy of answered prayer, a joy that nothing can be added to) John 16:24, 1st Samuel 2:1-10. Hannah after all years of being tormented by adversaries, when finally God granted her request said for her to be able to cope with the Joy, God has to enlarge her mouth. There is that kind of Joy.
In recent times, when ministering, G.O will suddenly hear sing and each time he hears marvelous testimonies. 
Prophecy
Tonight, He can hear someone singing 
(Song)"I wil sing of the mercies of the Lord forever I will sing of the mercies of the Lord.... till fade)
Story 
This lady came to my office, I asked what the problem was, she said she was 33 years old and still bed wetting, I thought it was just a medical problem until she said her mother was a bed wetter, her daughter bed wets and literally all female In her family bed wets, her grandmother had a problem with someone who placed a cut else on her and her generation. She gave her life to Christ and came back the following day. Daddy was confused as she was crying and laughing at the same time, she said, "daddy for the first time in 33 years, I woke up this morning and my bed was dry".
Prayer 
Turn to your neighbour and pray that Father, everything my neighbour has been believing you for, Father please release now.
ASK TILL YOUR JOY BE FULL.
God said, "Christians don't ask enough, some of you are even feeling uncomfortable just standing up to pray. (2Kings 4:1-7)
Prophecy 
Nowadays, you have been finding it to rejoice because your miracles have not yet manifested, today they will.
How much blessings will u get? The story of the widow and Elisha, the amount of miracle she got depended on how many empty vessels she had.
The amount of blessings you will get depends on how much prayer you are willing to pray. Ask till your joy be full.
Story 
While writing Sunday school pamphlet in London, daddy G.O was broke, he decided to ask for 50 pounds from God, shortly after, he received a call from an unknown number asking to speak with someone else, G.O replied wrong number and bid him goodbye with "God bless you", the man on the other line replied, who are you? Do you know God?, G.O replied, "YES!!! I know God, he is my Saviour. The man then asked who he was speaking to, G.O replied "Adeboye", the man asked again, which Adeboye, G.O replied, "Pastor E.A Adeboye", the man asked again "Sorry for disturbing you but of which church??" G.O replied, "Pastor E.A Adeboye Of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The man screamed immediately calling to his wife, mother and everyone there joyfully telling them to quickly come and hear who he was speaking with, apparently they had been talking about him before the call, they begged to have an audience with him, he graciously agreed, they visited where he was staying and before leaving they gave G.O 50 pounds. After leaving, G.O said, "God had it been that I knew you would answer me that fast, I would have requested 100 pounds". While he left the room for a few minutes and got back, he saw an envelope and recognised the writing at the back, it was his friend who was stinking lying rich but a huge miser and the writing read "I was moved to give you this" and inside was an extra 50 pounds. G.O was shocked and said had it been he knew he would have asked for 150 pounds, something lead to another, he got an extra 50 pounds that day. Years later ,God revealed to him that had it been he asked for 1000 pounds that day, he would have gotten it.
You are where you are today because you won't pray, because you limit the ALMIGHTY. The All-Sufficient God by asking for little little things. Your prayer point will change from today in Jesus name.
Story
G.O heard in the 1950's that there was a man, the richest man in Lagos, but when relatives go to ask him for money he always said "NO!!! That he worked for his money and they should work for theirs'. His only weakness was little children, he loved little children, his relatives notices and began to carry their little kids and others to visit him, at the end of every visit he usually ask what the kids wanted from them and grant their request.  One day, a woman took her little kid but before setting off, she told her what to say when she was asked what she wanted, she said to her,"ask for house, land, car etc and I will compensate you with cookies when we get back", the child nodded in agreement then they left.
Upon arriving the man's house, after the visit was over, the old man asked the child what she wanted, she said,"Cookies!!!", the man who already knew the trick his relatives always played on him but didn't mind, pretended not to hear and went into his room to give the mother the chance to lecture her daughter again, upon getting back he asked same question and she still replied,"Cookies". 
Many of us have been asking THE ONE who made the heaven and the earth, the one who has all the gold, silver, diamond, all the riches in His care, who can release to you the whole nation!!! When you go to Him, what do you request for.... Cookies!!!
The One who can give you the power to heal the sick, raise the dead... you ask Him for cookies!!
Prayer 
Your prayer life must change. When you pray you won't ask for cookies.
Altar call:- before the final prayer, if you haven't surrendered to Jesus, run forward now and confess your sins to Him, ask Him for forgiveness, pray for Him to come into your life and be Your Lord and Saviour. 
Final Prayer 
Father, I don't want just to be blessed, I want to be a blessing to nations. Father use me for Your glory.

Please read: today's writeup is on makeup, the timing, transformation and "deceit" especially when the transformation is too much, ie. you are not even recognizable again.
To start with, makeup is used by quite a number of ladies including guys too even though it's not as heavy to improve their looks. Makeup is not meant to be used to change you from looking like you and more like someone else. To save time, I would first discuss timing. If you ever watched the program "how do I look?" by Jeannie Mai on Style Network, you can recall that the show is about transformation and timing. A lot of people brought in by their relatives, friends and even Co workers for fashion intervention. Some of their excuses for not dressing well or using makeup was,they felt it takes more time to look good, to apply makeup and dress well. After which an exercise is carried out, it involves those in question and another contender who uses makeup and dresses very well, the exercise was about timing, to see the first to finish dressing. Whether it was the one who needed intervention or the contender who always dress fine with makeup. The exercise always proved fruitful because the contender who usually dress well with makeup on always win. And it's not staged. What I'm driving at is, you don't have to spend hours painting your face, once you know the basics, you can finish in less than 5minutes, even 2. Some women just love taking their time because we feel "a queen is never late, everyone is just early" not because they can't actually look good under 5minutes, try it out and see.
 About the transformation, that's what makeup is about, improving our looks and maybe even transformation. I'm aware some ladies apply too much makeup, a term referred to as "heavy makeup", now while some of them are very necessary, for example, someone with burns on her face, or facial discoloration, malformations, albinos etc can choose drastic and completely transforming makeup if they so please. But those without any serious scar on their faces really do not need heavy makeup on all occasions, at least let your face breathe once in a while, just go out with light makeup, trust me, if you apply it well, it isn't any less beautiful. It's your face and you can decide what you will do with it but try to be modest in all things. When you constantly apply heavy makeup, even when you are beautiful underneath all of that, people will assume you are not, i know people's opinion shouldn't always count but when they are right, maybe you should check yourself. But hey!! Whatever rocks your boat.
Finally, to the people who scream deceit!!!when they a girl's natural,fresh outta the shower face. What do you expect to see? It isn't anyone's fault that you believe a girl's real eyelash is long like a sealion's, or that her lip is really that red(When she is not baboon bumbum, or jusTomato), and her face super smooth, no scar, flawless and shiny(Haba bros, if it's shining too much, you gas' suspect), or pink cheek (really??)... these things aren't deceiving, the makeup are usually obvious, y'all are just attracted to how they look at that particular time. Although there are exceptions like when ladies apply nude make up and lipstick, then it's hard to tell! But if the eyes are smoky and all, please don't tell me they are deceiving you. Some of y'all have pretty natural girlfriend's sef but you see one fly, well powdered girl, you start wishing for more then wakeup next to your worst nightmare.
In conclusion, we all want to look good and I bet guys want girlfriend's that look good that they can be proud of and show off to their friends. we all have different ways of improving our looks but let's try to look more like ourselves sometimes.
