HiiiPower: It just saddens me that Nigerian girls are subpar, and I do really want to make my mum happy by finding someone she can relate to. It's like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place; trying to please someone who's largely responsible for who I'm today and finding happiness.
I still don't understand why Nigerian girls are different from their male counterparts. But no biggie, I'll have a discourse with my old woman and explain why it's impossible for me to be with a Nigerian girl, and why she needs to accept whoever I want. u r just sober, leave nigerian women along I wish u don't find any good one cos you don't deserve them u are getting more irritating now |

HiiiPower: My critique is based on a carefully knitted observation and what I'm accustomed to. This isn't a case of personal experience nor having an utter hatred for Nigerian women, I personally just don't think most of their character traits(based on my location and what I've seen elsewhere) suit my person.
I don't have a problem with Nigerian women in general and what they represent, I just wanted to know if there are other 'breeds' of Nigerian women different from the norm that I'm accustomed to. All i have for you is stick to other racess that breeds the traits that suits your person. You can care less about those who don't catch your fancy and move on instead of dwelling your thoughts on their bad traits when it comes to chossing a life partner, you are not supposed to be presured into chosing against your wish. your mum can only suggest. it's solely your decision to marry from any race of your choice. and that's when a man stand on foot and say mummy this is where i want to marry from and she'l respect your view. that nigerian girls did not work for you does'nt mean they are not working for others. |

HiiiPower: But my critique wasn't based on one girl, albeit I've only been with one Nigerian girl. It cuts across the spectrum, I'm Nigerian and I know what I'm talking about here.
My Nigerian-ness is my Nigerian-ness and being Nigerian isn't based on location/locality, but background/culture/ancestry, if you get my drift. your experience is not peculiar to the men. some females have seen worst in the hands of nigerian men but does it mean all nigerian men are bad or behave in a certain way? u get my drift? |

Sam Milla: She is 10 years older than him. Our nigerian girls see no problem with that. - neither do i.
But if a man is 10 years older than a lady in nigeria , its problem. The girl will natural come to nairaland to ask for advice and below is what she would get as advices from our ladies.
Chaircover: Run girl run, he is too old for you.
Mrs Chima: wtf! He is a peadophile. Dont go near him.
Jennykadri, my sweet friend: What do you see in him, dont you see he is too old for you.
MissB, teenager who knows about relationship more than adult: No no no, dont date him. Dont even answer his calls again. He will manipulate you and cheat on you.
Mukina2 will naturally say nothing.
Ileke Idi: Girl if he is yoruba, marry him. If Igbo, dupe him. If hausa, run as fast as you can.
Kobojunkie: If he is american or british, then go for him. If he is nigerian, he is no good.
Freecocoa: oh my gawd! What were you thinking going close to him in the first place. If he comes close to you again, call the police.
Where are their names again, someone help me out. Jack Daniels destroys memories. |

HiiiPower: You care enough to make yourself be seen on a thread that wasn't maligned to target your person. if you had based your criticism only on the girl u had unpleasant experiance with u wouldnt hav seen me. the generalization is what brought me here. there is no particular race that breeds the kind of woman you want. every race have their peculier problems, it's better to find from where can deal with. it's no good creating a thread jus to degrade nigerian women when you are from nigeria even thou you r abroad breed. all these boys bashing girls threads i laugh at them becos they are all products of the same economy. |

sexkillz: If she is not working, she has no rights to demand a joint account with me. . . you are saying that a prerequisite for opening joint account is the woman must be working, good. what if your job suddenly stops and your woman picks up a very good job which can help sustain the family through this period you are unemployed and serching for job? hope u wouldnt demand for joint acount incase the job is taking too long to come. what if their is emergency and you are not around and since she is not working, hope u'l be glad to learn that she has gone to borrow money frm ur brother to takecare of the situation so u now pay back on your return? people should be able to understand and trust each before u go into marriage in the first place. If you trust your wife, she should have access to your money becos you have confidence in the wife you married, knowing that she knows the family finacial strenght whether high or low will cannot take advantage of that. |
