OP, your point is absolutely rubbish, you fail to account for the amount of international students and business people that operate and live in Nigeria... you have no business sense and your write up is so one sided... Nigerians abroad came in third for the most amount of money sent back home this year and it wasn't in Naira. I forgot the exact amount but if you look up the thread, you can find the amount. The amount is in the Billions of Dollars and that does not include the amount of fraudulent money that enters Nigeria unaccounted for. An estimate of that amount shows that Nigeria made almost trillions of dollars from fraud, this fiscal year. those particular students you claim, will all start working in Ghana or wherever in the world and will begin to send back more money than invested in them. thats just the simple truth. your write up is biased and uneducated and you need to sit down and rethink your points. The CBN's initiative with regards to the BVN is not to cut of fraud at home with the politicians or what have you?, its to make fraudulent money going into Nigeria more traceable. so that next time, other governments will be able to see that, "Nnamdi or Shola" who looks like this and has these biometric was responsible for the fraudulent act. BVN is the equivalent of a social Insurance number, in countries where such exist and because Nigeria is a member of the G20, such information will be shared with other G20 member who are complaining about loosing money to Nigeria's Fraudulent ways. I'm sure eventually the people will find a way around these new measures so it's just a matter of time as no system is perfect. But now your biometrics is joined to your sim card, which is joined to your bank account, which is joined to your Nepa bill, or National ID. which means at any moment, anyone who is technologically savy can triangulate your whereabouts, to +/-5meters. I got a little carried away there, but the write up is bogus, more money goes into Nigeria, than comes out... you can still withdraw from your Naira card abroad, but there are limits though, I think you can only withdraw $300 per day. |
The sad truth about sex is ... even when you become a professional, it adds no value to you. The value in Virginity is the fact that abstinence is extremely difficult and once you've had it once, its difficult not to repeat. Virginity is Valuable... it shows that the woman can be resilient even in the face of adversity. Society is rotten, and because of that Morals are out the window... everyone want to feel appreciated for what they don't deserve. If you keep your virginity, it doesn't make you different in the eyes of anyone who didn't keep theirs because they can't understand. I'm no Virgin and If I marry a girl who is or isn't a virgin, I'll just be glad... what I am though, is a truthful person. She's seen through the lies, deception, lust, envy, thirst, hammattan, Rain, konji, hornyness, poverty, fame, anger, Friends or what have you that made other women have sex and she didn't give in.... Bro .. give that VirginWoman a medal... and if you seriously believe all the lies women tell to men about why they couldn't wait... then you don't understand women. those that gave it away, want it back. all these woman purchased 50 Shades of Grey, to read about how a virgin lost her virginity..... yet they'll tell you it doesn't mean anything.... the lies 75% of women tell and 90% of men believe.

While Governor ChickenFeeder is busy buying RICE to feed some chickens in EKITI On this, Good Job... now is it affordable.. that will make another thumbs up if it is. and I'm not too fond of this guy, but this is good. |
babosky2008:Whilst a some percentage of Ekiti remains in Darkness.... for the 8th month running, money is wasted on Rice for photo ops for future elections.... I and to the popular idea in this thread.... Does Christmas excuse people from seeing something wrong ![]() I'm all for feeding the homeless, but this is something entirely different. |
Ojady:I'm Not about to troll you because, you're part of those things I don't want to encourage in the New Year. But Since I'm such a nice guy, I will take this one last reply to educate you. Power is a game, included in it, is marketing, theories, psychology ..... and Sociology. That said... the Psychological aspect of what I said there was being present when feeding your chickens with rice, is to show them you own them Since you can't grasp that, I will come to the conclusion that, you have the same brain as my Chicken, and maybe only your feeder, FAYOSE will understand. Here's something you might understand... I'll give you some rice to smile and shut up @Ojady=Chickenhead No pun Intended, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year |
Ojady:Sometimes when I'm in a good mood, I like to throw some rice to the Chickens around my house... I'm being very literal here... Does that mean, I've got a governors state of mind Iranu.... bro whats your IQ? |
I don't even know where to start... but all I can say is, Had it been THESE PARTICULAR EKITI INDIGENES; who support that SHAM of a governor, were there Pre-independence. We would still be colonized right now. Cheers, Here's hoping that Rice you eat, never finishes.... and to you, governor ... your legacy will be the product of this rice that comes out the people the next day. |

what do this places all have in common, outside of the fact that the poeple are suffering for the decisions of the few because there are many BETAS amongst them. Their objectives and final result differ greatly from what might have been, had they not done the unthinkable and followed in the ways of the Prodigal son, whose destiny was to squander everything he had simply because he wanted to stand alone. Before you jump into conclusions look at the people that have gone before you and try to NOT follow in the footsteps of destruction. A word is enough for the wise, heres my List. 1. Moldova 2. Ukraine 3. Bosnia Herzegovina 4. Malawi 5. Burundi 6. Swaziland 7. Eritrea 8. South Sudan 9. Gambia 10. Palestine 11. Honduras 12. Haiti 13. Bangladesh 14. Brunie 15. Burma 16. Laos 17. Belize 18. Cyprus 19. Kosovo 20. Mongolia |
I'm surprised at how rampant this is in Nigeria, ever so often I pray to God to make sure I only have one daughter after several boys, so her brothers can protect her. Back to your problem, I think when you engage someone of this nature, you should do your research about the said Prof excellently, to understand whether He is really just a decent man, who's fallen for his (legally) matured student (i'm saying this with the intention that you're at the very most an Undergrad student). if this is the case then, you should proceed by telling him your mind. If that is the case, then tell him you would only listen to his advances once there isn't any uneven power balance in the conversation. Avoid sitting alone and avoid leaving class alone. you'll be able to Navigate yourself through the course of the semester and your work will speak for you at the end of the year. If the reverse is the case and this is one of those professors who abuse the power that has been given to them and spoil the lives of our girls/women/ladies...( I'm saying this with high regard to those who carry their innocence to Univ, only to loose it at the hands of the lewd Profs), then you have to record your dealings with this man and shame him and the administration he represents. you have to not just do it for yourself, but for others that are coming after you. There aren't heroes anymore, gone are the days of yore when people would sacrifice their wellbeing and future for the future of forthcoming generations. We are asleep, where is the nigerian version of Malala [url]http://www.google.ca/url?q=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malala_Yousafzai&sa=U&ved=0CBMQFjAAahUKEwi6wcC9vpvJAhVIJB4KHfOCCLY&usg=AFQjCNG6-tUTA15IbLjpwwKI5yhg0W3WZQ/url] |
wow!!! i just finished this thread lolz and its very informative but frankly not on point as much as i thought it be, Granted there are some possible answers too but from experience, I just think that a lot of Nigerian Men have different answers as to why, but my reason is because there's this completely different relationship standard in America, or to be more specific, outside of Nigeria. You're definitely Nigerian, no one can argue that, but you were raised American, and even you can't change that, and thats neither a bad thing or a good thing i suppose, it just is lolz. i have more to say but am tired and done with typing. |
