ofime123:Thanks a bunch bro |
Hi guys. Blessed day to you all. Can someone kindly tell how much will be a respectable amount to charge for a trip to and fro Ibadan from Festac? Trip is meant to be on a Saturday (both pickup and return) with just one passenger. Also, A/C will be on all the way. Thanks for your anticipated responses. |
Y1nka:Note to self: Just ignore! ![]() |
Hello house. Is there anyone willing to do an offline trip tomorrow (Friday) morning by 6am, from Festac Town to Yaba Psychiatric Hospital for 3K? Buzz me on 0 7 0 3 7 7 0 3 3 0 5 if interested. |
Brainbox0806:Do the vehicle's Uber registration in your name and email, but upload the documents the way they are (ie, with the previous owner's documents). There is no problem as long as they are all genuine and up to date. |
Guys please be very careful when driving. Don't over-speed or drive bumper-to-bumper; especially directly behind a long truck or container-carrying-trailer. Just heard news that my son's teacher died after their danfo bus got crushed by a container that was rolling back on apongbon bridge. It's a sad one to take, cos she was young (below 30 years) and very full of life. We've been in tears all morning, but some day we all will take our very last breath and life will go on with others. |
izzou:Ok. Noted! I'll probably also need to find out if they intend to use the car for movement within mowe during the 2 days, as that should mean extra cost. Thanks for your time and advice. God bless you |
Felicity001:Thanks. They are well known; and should provide accommodation, feeding and security for the two days. I guess the 20k is not bad then? ... It's just that Berger traffic that scares me |
izzou:They are offering 20k. Is that reasonable? |
Good day guys. Please how much will be a reasonable charge for a trip from Festac to mowe/ibafo and back to Festac? Driver will be sleeping over at mowe/ibafo before making a return trip the next day. |
franksam2009:I for buy you one chilled bottle of big stout, but as you dash am 5H, I come begin para |
Been reading a lot and I have just three advice. 1. Your body is not an indestructible machine! Always remember that nature will come calling sometime; after putting in consistently long driving hours, especially on Lagos roads and in Lagos traffic. Always take at least one day in a week to rest and recharge. Wetin you gain if you spend most of your earnings on hospital bills? 2. Your vehicle is a machine, but also needs a breather! Imagine working your car's engine for the maximum 12 hours permitted by Uber (excluding times spent driving to pickup, chasing surge, positioning, or simply blowing empty home) and still expecting it to function like it did on the first day? Lagos weather is harsh and Lagos roads are partly bad/untarred; these only adds to the hastening of the wear and tear process of your car. There are many other significant reasons to rest your vehicle from time to time, but the point is also give it some time off every week as you give yourself. 3. Lastly, as you actively chase money and pursue your different hustle, remember that you also have loved ones. Plan out time to spend with them, build relationships and create those memories that will last a lifetime. It is sweet to make money, but even sweeter when you and everyone around you is happy with the way you're making it. Money is important, but happiness is importanter. |
GforGee:I know this may be coming late, but for future reference. Whenever in Festac Town and looking for request, just drive to 21Road and park anywhere between 'V' to 'Z' Close |
Where does one position in Ikorodu to get request towards mainland or island abeg? Been at Agric now for over an hour and no request |
franksam2009:0 7 0 3 7 7 0 3 3 0 5. Thanks bro. By the way, where's the location of this person's shop? |
Please does anyone have any good A/C guy's contact in Ladipo? Need to change the thermostat as it's behaving erratically. |
Abeg is there anybody who is yet to receive uber alert for last week's work? My balance reads N0, and no payment reflection in my account. |
Olaryeankarh:Thanks a bunch |
Do you have a sound Nigerian used Honda Civic '03 -' 08 for sale? If yes, please contact 0 7 0 3 7 7 0 3 3 0 5 via WhatsApp. I may have a buyer for you. |
On the issue of LASDRI... I have been stopped by VIO a few times when driving my car (but without my name on the registration), and whenever they ask for LASDRI, I simply inform them I'm not a driver, but driving my personal vehicle. When they begin to ask bullsh*t questions about how do they know I'm not lying, I simply ask them to contact the name on the registration or stop wasting my time. I'm always very curt and brisk with them, as my drivers licence and vehicle particulars are always up to date. I think the key here is your disposition and confidence. They are trained to also work by discretion/discernment (especially where the applicable law is not foolproof and can be bended). When they smell fear or panic, they pounce like lions on their prey. They can only arrest you if they have proof beyond reasonable doubt. That being said, UBER/BOLT qualifies as 'driving to earn a living'; which is their definition of being a professional driver. Therefore means any driver under these platform will be inexcusable by Lagos State law for driving without a valid LASDRI licence. I would advise driver partners to be 3k wise, than being 30k foolish. |

Hello house. Trust our hustle is raining blessings into our pockets? Here's a quick question, is TAXIFY COVER during new registration absolutely compulsory? Especially for those who already have an active comprehensive insurance? |
