I don’t think that’s usually the case, however, if you are really anxious, then perhaps reach out to your school to assist, they usually have an International student support team and can help you reach out to UKVI to confirm what the issue is. Also pray about it and prep for an interview just incase. Goodluck

Try doing a paid call to them. Do so at around 1am tonight +44 0300 790 6268 , use a foreign card if your Naija card doesn’t work for the payment.

Like myself, all the lekki protest against evil government and all the killings ( pictures) was used against me. Why not deactivate it or at lease change your name to be different from your real name or delete any post/pictures that portrays bad things about your home country or don't accept friend request from them..not even accept their offer to give u a lift...na just suggestion. But if una no want make una ignore my advice... Just do your thing like the other guy said!

Just that I don't want someone else to learn from his mistake... ppl here will get close to you to expose you especially at work place! we Africans are industrious and it comes with envy

I would love to use this great podium to congratulate September intake and will be waiting to get to know some of you not all.

And Also I'd like to thank those like horsey, justwise and co so much for their immense contributions to this great platform.

I will also like to encourage some of us that are still seeking for admission and visa application process to continue pushing because the hassle worth it when you adhere to rules and regulations in place.

My candid advice goes to those coming this September, when you get here or while you are still in naija.
I get to learn this things I'm about to share with you guys myself but the only reason why I want to share it is, we are great in life not because we are able to avoid mistakes or being successful in our endeavours rather we are great/heroes when we help someone else to escape the mistakes we made ourselves!

The rules to adhere to when you enter UK are
1. Deactivate your social media handles or use a different name/ block public from viewing your previous post even down to 10yrs back/ delete violent post/ any post talking bad about your home country or government comot am!
2. People here are FRIENDLY to get information about you and they will use it against you especially in your working place, we all watch Hollywood and we see how compassionate they are but reverse is the case! Keep your work stuff at work! In fact, let everything that comes with work end at work! e get why! your working fokes na them!
3. Talk good about your country! that's if you can't keep shut! Talk less! don't give them clue!

4. Mind your business. Like some of us that came here single looking for.. to marry, they will laugh with you and the same person will stab you when you least expected it! God has purpose and different plans for each and everyone of us to stay back/survive. Just stick to God and watch Him fix you or allocate your own stay. For me, I'm still optimistic that mine will come...hahahaha anyway I be January intake!

5. Lastly, when you get here, don't ever let your luggage's out of site! people here can still your shoes if you fell asleep on train or bus station here! Not saying that all are bad but when you come here be very careful! Naija may be bad but at least we know how portray genuine love not fake it! although we have Judas for naija as well hahaha.

@justwise, it's a new bank, Headquarted at Marina, most of the branches are located here in Lagos, I personally visited the Allen Avenue branch. Where other banks are complaining of forex, they're are pretty fast with their operations. For payments through Form A, one just needs to come with the requisite documents, open an acct, fund it and they process it super fast. However, for PTA, one needs to have at least 3mths relationship with them. I suggest those who're experiencing difficulties with their payments and can get to Lagos, should avail themselves this opportunity.
