While London is known for approvals, Nairobi is notorious for its incessant rejections. Albeit, that trend is quite the opposite lately. In the end, what is important is a successful application. I wish you Godspeed. kife: |

Dear mama's, Please where can I get Rota vaccine around Ogba/Ifako in Lagos and how much? |
Birth Story I would be an ingrate if I didnt write my b.s., cos I read others b.s. during t tc days from which I drew strength and inspiration. I am so grateful to God almighty for seeing me through the nine months n beyond. At six weeks fetal heartbeat was not detected n I was scared of another ectopic pregnancy. The heartbeat was later heard two weeks later, I had abt about ten scans during this pregnancy lol. MS dealt severely with me and I vomited all through the pregnancy, an experience I wldnt trade for any in the world. Fast forward to the 39th week, I started noticing reduced fetal movements, went to d clinic n scan showed everything was ok, but my instincts knew otherwise. I was sure something wasn't right. Early on the 14th, I saw the show, which was followed by mild contractions. I went to d hospital n the nurse checked me n sed I was 3cm gone that I should stay arnd n see her in abt 4hrs, I went to eat n came 2 d hospital, the contractions increased a bit so I waited till evening to see the new nurses on du ty. I noticed the matron was scared n went to call the jnr nurse n told her to help her check d fetal heartbeat. She said she didnt hear it, i was scared but composed. They went to call d resident who told them to place me on oxygen immediately and they started hearing his hearttbeat, though irregular. Then they came n strapped me with machines I have only seen in movies lol. They called my dh n told him of d situation while waiting for d consultant t o make a decision . All through I was having painful contractions which doesn't seem to progress. The consultant came n checked me n said the contractions were "latent" n d baby was in distress. He called my hubby n told me I have to go for emergency c.s. Then came d issue of bed space in the post natal ward, it was in d middle of the night n no one cld b discharged. God came through for us n I was wheeled to the theatre I took abt 20 injections before they got they got the right site for the spinal anaesthesia. The next thing I saw was them taking me into post natal ward and my dh showing me d pix of my adorable baby. He was brought to me wen I was fully awake. I am so grateful to Allah for the gift of life nd for others to come, for my dh who stood by me all through. I dedicate my b.s. to all g tc mums, I have bn there n I know God will answer all ur prayers, to all wonderful mama's here; Zaynie, proudmum38, 4realwoman, Patking my super duper cappo, Curvilicious n other super mums.
