Sorry about your friendship that just ended with your friend. The truth is most people have little knowledge about introversion so they see introverts as people with some sort of psychological defect . Two people in a relationship are suppose to understand each others personality. I know you might be asking yourself how you are going to be close friends with somebody else, my advice for you is to be patient, you deserve to be with somebody that understand and appreciate your personality . Trust me, someday you're going to meet that friend you crave for.

On your second question, just try and raise your voice a little higher although the pitch of your voice may sound weird. Also, try waving your hands to the people your are greeting whilst smiling. Try to strike brief conversation with your neighbors when you have the opportunity. You gotta come out of your comfort zone.

About the smokers just try and greet them like "bros ona good afternoon" to show you acknowledge them . To me, greeting is overrated in this part of the world and should not be the only basis for showing respect. As advised, don't take their threat with levity.

2. I can totally relate to the part where you greet, and you are not been heard. In my case, I would go in and say 'Good Morning' to myself in the same tone I greeted whomever. I found a solution by raising my voice a lil higher so that when I am greeting Mr A, Mr D would hear and also respond

I have found out that the best way to be an introvert and not portray pride to the outside world is to Do as a Roman, in Rome. See, I can be in the house for 30days without my neighbors knowing. mine is so bad that with or without electricity, books or anything to interest me, I am fine. Just stock my kitchen Lobatan. But I noticed people were beginning to assume I am proud. So what I do is once in a while, I come outside whenever I am home, I throw one or two 'ah' and 'eh' in their general discussion, play with their kids but never step into their flats and quietly leave.

For the smoky guys, I would advise you make a report either to your landlord or the police. No threat is no be taken with levity .

Long time.

Pls I really need an advice on these things
1. I have actually let go of a 3 year friendship as it seems to be that my friend never knew I am. Like never fully understand who I am and it is so painful so I decided to end the friendship though she is a good person in her heart. Someone told me that my personal relationship with people will determine how my relationship with future husband will be. How true?

2. I don't know anyone where I live as I am always indoor or not at home. I do greet but bin someone who is an introvert my voice is so low that they won't hear. that's actually the beginning of my troubles.
Anytime I go out or come in, I will be abused and be called names by people who are younger than I am but I never allowed that to get to me because my time is limited in the house. But today, as I walked into the compound, so guys who smoke alot started saying that they hate me and have plan for me.
I have bin shaking since I heard this.
Note: I don't know their names, faces and I have never insult anyone.

Being an introvert has its ups and downs and i can authoritatively tell u that its not easy at all. Being he firat son of the family,i am expexted to voice out my opinion in every family meetings cos dad thinks i am his second in command and since the beginning of those meetings till now,i have never made any contribution. To my social life,i dont keep friends at all and when i am among my extroverts friends,i dont talk,i just look and smile... I am extremely shy and nice and most people do take me for granted... I cannot look anyone in the eye and talk, i am that shy.. I am in my early twenties and i have never had more than 2 gfs and i met the two online and both were long distance relationships,i prefer texting to calling cos if i should call,i will def run out of what to say and if you call me i will be be staring at my phone screen expecting to text cos i wont pick the call ... People think i am rude and proud because if something should happen to someone i know i just dont seem to find the right words to address the situation,i.e when my uncle had an accident with his car i didnt call him all because i didint know what to say... I prefer staying in my room and watching movies in my room to going for lectures cos while going for lectures i always have this weird feeling that everyone is looking at me,as a masscomm student i dont have any friend in a class of almost 200 students,i rarely answer questions in class cos i have stage fright,if we are told to open to a bible passage in church,if i am the first person to open the bible passage i will prefer not to read it,i am always observant of any environment i find myself and i yend to be lazy and last but not the least,i rarely get angry,say the worst things in this world to me ,i wont react or talk back,call me names to my face and i will just be smiling

There is guy in my church (not checking him out o) but he is an extreme extrovert
He does things in such a way that you wont help but notice
Not having any thing against his way of praising God o but do sometimes stare at him 'like see playful guy' "So playful" and am sure he might not like to marry someone like himself
My friends do say am crushing on him cos i do talk about his extrovert ways everyday

Also my hod is an extrovert and his wife introvert and they have a good marriage


And most of my friends are extroverts, going out and party time, flashy people.
