BACK TO MY OWN PROBLEM
I applied for the processing of my transcript at Unilag since August and it seems this transcript thing gonna take forever. Even after sending email to vc and copying the exams and records unit. The best they could do was to respond to my email, that an official will will be assigned to my file. After the email, my application status changed to 'Inprogress'. Since then, nothing has happened.

Suggestion
I would like to create a WhatsApp group to this effect, anyone affected by this Unilag transcript mess can join the WhatsApp group. I have some clues on how we can go about it, but I wouldn't want to share it here, being a public space. We really need to escalate this Unilag transcript mess and I believe if we take the bold steps to be discussed on the WhatsApp group, this might change Unilag transcript story forever.

Tax clearance certificate is not automatic. Have you been declaring the profit you realized from your super market business?
Have you been filing your tax returns to date?
Do you have a Payer ID (Lagos resident)?

If your answer to the above question is yes, then you can request for your tax clearance certificate from LIRS.

It's high time something has to be done at the exams and records unit in un[color=#990000][/color]ilag. I applied for for transcript for the past 2 months,after paying 25k, up till now it's just showing application received on my profile. I think we really need to escalate this across various social media, maybe by then it will come to the attention of the Management.

The sad part is that, they have monetize the process of collecting transcript in unilag. Everything is money in that school .

I'm very sure that, if one has settled an official at the point of applying, one would have gotten by now.

What can we do people to escalate this issue, it's becoming unbearable.

Suggestion: Maybe we should try and get the email address of the VC or the Senate and bombered them with complaint mails.

Evaluating ICAN (ACA) will not give you any point at the moment. But if you evaluate your B.Sc + AATWA= 2 or more certificates.

September 6 was near. Mine has been since August. I don't even know the work of the Alumni sef.
