@shigidi

JOS BREWERIES will be a good buy anyday i can bet my money on it, the 2004 recapitalisation exercise can be said to be 100 per cent successful, under the watchful eyes of Albert Kattiems-team and with the exit of Guinness Nigeria Plc from the management of JIB its going to explode.
At the height of its success, it singly built the most successful integrated farms in Nigeria - the BARC Farms Limited, and the Pioneer Milling Company.
Incorporated in 1975 and the company posted heavy profits with high dividends, am hook on it. cool cool cool

Its like you are saying: WARREN BUFFETT OR EDDIE LAMPERT? Who is better or which investor should i follow? Mr Lampert was a super-investor who runs ESL investments,the hedge fund while people also known Mr Buffet.

You can investor your portfolio into new ares in which you wants to explore like the new gold mine waiting to explode the INSURANCE SECTOR but for the time frame put half in Platinumhabib bankDiamond bank and spread the remaining within insurance sectors between: Mutual benefits assurance, and Prestige assurance Nascon,and Crusader insurance for time check happy investing, cool cool cool

The truth is bitter but we have to try and free ourselfs freem colonia mentality,Both Countries known how much they were reaping from 9JA, When the late ABACHA stop British Airways from coming to 9ja, during those years they cry fool and know the amount of money they lost during that time.

We have been building our Country over the years and i can tell anybody that the so called UK and US, were not built in a day. if WE NEED FREEDOM WE HAVE TO GET UP AND GO 4 IT, NOTIN HAPPEN BY CHANCE EVEN OUR INDEPENDENT.

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by BIGBOYLARY(m): 11:49pm On Jun 03, 2007
@All

STOCKS INFO:
First Bank (100 billion) hybrid offer is currently in the market to raise funds through an equity public offering.

• The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria is working out modalities to raise a N100 billion mortgage-backed bond securitization programme from the capital market. The funds will facilitate the operations of secondary mortgage transactions in the capital market by refinancing the mortgage loan originators while facilitating the purchase of houses in Abuja. The mortgage-backed security will be in tranches. It is yet to be determined whether it will be a pass-through (more likely) or a collaterized mortgage obligation (CMO) in which a credible credit rating system will have to be in play so that the loans can be placed in tranches based on credit quality.

• About N100 billion was raised in the primary market segment of the capital market in the first quarter of 2007 up from N72.17 billion in the same period in 2006. This is largely attributable to insurance firms’ recapitalization, foreign hedge funds financial investments, corporate expansions and foreign direct investment.

• Eterna Oil is soon to embark on a rights issue: 150 million ordinary shares at N9.95 per share which translates to receipts of N1.4 billion if the rights are fully taken up.

• Diamond Bank, Access Bank, Fidelity Bank, GT Bank, Obajana Cement, Dangote Flour, NAHCO, CCNN, Design Union Developing Limited (a key player in the real estate sector)) and Costain West Africa Plc are expected to come to the market through initial public offers or public offers.

• The 4th FGN Bond Series 5 was issued on May 25th, 2007 at a coupon rate of 9.23% with a five-year tenor. The bond was 110% oversubscribed. The amount on issue was N50 billion and the amount put forward was N105 billion. Excess liquidity rears its ugly head again and the coupon rate is nothing to write home about.

• A total of 450,000,000 shares were added to the shares outstanding of Nigeria Aviation Handling Co. Plc following the stock split of 3 new shares for every 2 originally held.

• A total of 2,568,898 shares were added to the shares outstanding of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated being ETI Staff Scheme Shares.

• A total of 122,200,710 shares were added to the shares outstanding of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated following the stock split of 1 new share for every 10 originally held.

• A total of 158,986,549 shares were added to the shares outstanding of The Okomu Oil Palm Plc following the stock split of 1 new share for every 2 originally held.

• A total of 2,340,789,994 shares were added to the shares outstanding of Crusader Insurance Plc following the conclusion of the public offer of 1,553,216,304 shares and rights offering of 787,573,690 shares.

• A total of 2,000,000,000 shares were added to the shares outstanding in the name of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc following the stock split of 1 new share for every 4 originally held.

• A total of 10,372,744,316 shares of Continental Reinsurance have been listed on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange at N1.26 per share.

• The Bank of Industry and International Energy Insurance (IEI) are currently doing a private placement. cool cool cool

FINE!

There are many stocks broking firms in Naija and all of them will highly welcome this because they will make it loud with us i known about some friends in America and here that put funds together under agreed name and buy stocks, am dealing with BGL securities you can find out and let us know what they have but i tell u we need a name FIRST. The secret of stocks markets is,

 Prices don’t move by themselves. They are manipulated by the huge volumes traded by banks, fund managers, pension funds and investments houses.

                    "If we want to make serious wealth from the markets, we need to copy and do exactly what the
SERIOUSLY WEALTHY are doing and this is how they are making it BIG.

Think about it for a second, I WILL BE EXPECTING YOUR CALL cool cool cool

As i said am highly interested but when you are directing some people to Frank in Naija does that mean we should take it up from there and used the name F rank as already chosed for the Investment forum he organised sometimes ago?
For us that is in london can we arrange to meet somewhere an our resolutions pass across to those in Naija.
My expectations was to break the HEGEMONY AND MONOPOLY OF SOME TAG IN OUR COUNTRY.

Very soon we shall dictate the market i suggest we should start with #200,000:00 and make history, cool cool cool
