quickly: He’s not discouraging, just saying the truth. Abroad is not home even if u have all the passports. You are still a 2nd class citizen
To a Nigerian life is all about money but trust me 2 secs before you die you will know there is more to life.
My uncle among first ppl who went to Canada in the 80s , relocating to badagry
The money they give you . Will be used for taxes, rent and bills.
No input no output . No be every work Dey pay all your bills. Some will pay half of ur house rent some will pay all.
As abroad fine reach many homeless.
Last time I traveled I went to fast food joint before I even throw the food into garbage. One homeless guy grab and eat my left over.
Some ppl Dey abroad but na naija dem destiny Dey but no patience.
Them for make an for naija with more focus, application and patience
By the time u reach 70 u will see some in naija are more well of with zero debt.
The west is designed to keep u in debt . You cannot get some jobs without credit score.
But ppl no go hear. It’s good but in the long run u might regret Are you bothered about Nigerian homeless in canada Have seen a white American homeless guys... They look unwell and hungry They request for a dollar bill from everyone at the car stand grocery's... They are US citizen by birth and have full right but still poor and homeless The question is why can't this people enjoy their own green pastures |

koyyes: Immigrants( Indians, Chinese and others) on quora have complained bitterly about Canada. Some are thinking of heading to the US or UK.
Canadian PRs are doing a great job trying to inflate Canada's GDP with immigration.
Job opportunities are only available to immigrants who schooled there.
Only married immigrants enjoy Canada. If you are single, you will probably die of loneliness because Canadians are generally anti social. Their activities are somewhat robotic.
If you go there to school, make as much friends as possible. You are current on quora I said this today... Chinese, Indian do not hide their through identity on what they face in canada unlike Nigerian that will tell you they are now in heaven and making crazy income... Many of this foreigners are tired of Canada already But nigeria keeps hyping it But to be honest I will still advice any Nigerian to relocate when you hav the resources I believe with the grace of God.. It will work out for them |

Absolutely more opportunity in the US than canada... But some people just wanna explorer and when it comes to benefits canada will give you more than the US |

Tats: When people visit overseas from Nigeria for a brief period, most of them stay with family, relatives, in-laws or friends that they know. Their perspective of the place is usually based on what they experience - Where the person they are staying with lives, what work they do, what kind of friends they have (as they would usually go out with their host), etc. If the person is a professional with a good job & is well paid, lives in a nice area and has friends of similar status, their perspective of the place is good. Otherwise, it is not so good. Learn in that short period And remember if they are struggling doesn't mean you will to... Just have to make the decisions maybe you ready or not |

If you have a friend who could help out of a difficult situation through lending, wouldn't it be better than an unwilling friend who would stand by and watch you swim in an ocean of hopelessly? Two system, one offers hope on credit while you enjoy everything and pay back later. The other stands aloof showing less or no concern to your plight, I hope you understand? Definitely bro.... We should pray for might success There are lot of white American living permanently in lagos The location is not the problem Right connects is the main deal And God's favor |

Run a Master of Science (MS), in Physiology You can get a Job as Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Associate Product Manager. Biologist. Clinical Project Manager. Clinical Research Assistant. Work for 2year max and save up for Medicine degree... Still may not be enough for ur full degree but you can still work and school |

Debra911: Making sense. The minimum wage salary in Nigeria is Discouraging, you'll work for hours but the pay is just annoying. Labour is less appreciated. I really want to leave the country but not now cos I'm going for a 2nd degree in medicine &surgery. Studying medicine in outside country is very expensive Very expensive but if you can find a way to raise fund or go through scholarship you will never regret it... With your first degree you can go for masters... That's pretty cheap... Get a work permit and start working Save some good amount of Money and go for nursing |

How about not going to school and staying debt free in ignorance? How about not marrying and staying debt free while maintaining your single status? What about staying homeless and debt free?
Human want is insatiable, unfortunately no system world over is perfect.
Just thank God you live in a clime where there is available platform to actualize your dream. If a system provides you with an opportunity to add value to yourself, increase your earning and live a better life, there is no reason to complain against such system. Omg Nigerian are the same Can't u read carefully This story is not mine But a random fact story And getting a loan in the first world country is as normal as get a table water In nigeria we see it as a big deal Achieving those things as an average american without loans is impossible... So,allow them to make their moves, don't subtly try to discourage them. You right The energy will go a long way to achieve success in another man country |

GofuckYourself: Again you are Contradictory.
Your first message was clearly a discouraging one to them.
I said don't be used by evil , try and encourage your fellow youths .
None of them woke up to travel because they like to. Alot of them go into village debts to get the funds to travel , some sell all they own..they don't do all this just to seek a life of ease or think it's easy where they are going so that advise is useless.
Instead of being so negative encourage them, give them tips on how to get there. Stop this crab mentality of pulling your own down and be positive .
Cheers You right if it sounds negative I'm glad its looks like u getting my point I don't mean to sound negative to a potential migrants I'm just trying to share what people often do not share online about living in a first world country... Everyone haz a wonderful destiny Some may not hav to apply for one dollar loan and success will fly around few years of their arrival .... |
