They refused to provide funding for their enrollment registration centers and they always expect the staff to deliver target enrollment everyday. Most centers had to resort to tasking applicants to fund the project. Only to be accused of extortion from various quarters, even though most of them lives in debt and penury due to poor salary structure. Now the staff has resolved to stop working without funding " NO TOOLS, NO WORK". Once the management and government provides resources to work with enrollment will continue, until then this will the order of the day. |
Why are they now crying out. You just said it yourself, the contractor made drainage and the market people decided to build shops on it. Everything is not about government abeg, we are our own problems and solutions. I am sure there are market leaders in place, let them do the needful. Send those whose shops are on the drainage away once their rent expires, demolish the shops and pay to unclog and clear the drainage. All the market levies they collect can do that. |
These people acts like demigods. Girls are not the only one being harassed, even guys are not left out. Boys are made to part with money of varying amounts for something as light as even getting a project topic. This is a common trend in Unilorin's Faculty of social sciences especially. They are always quick to set up deciplinenary committee for erring students even in situation that is negligible, but sweeps cases of lecturer's harassment on students straight under the carpet Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner. The end is near for all of them.

If only Unilorin students has this kind of boldness, but the fear of expulsion is the beginning of wisdom. The SUG system in Unilorin is for figure heads. Gone are the days you would fight tooth and nail when they call us glorified secondary school. |
