Anyway, all na hustle, but I just hope this gets to the relevant authorities so something can be done.

Very disgusting situation honestly. But the place looks like one market at ijora badia opposite 7up.

That is 2nd, 3rd and 4th pics.

For those that haven't been in Lagos, please always note that there are three Lagos

1 Lagos one (dem davido, wizkid, ote$ area)
2 Lagos two ( dem crowded e.g Berger, ikorodu, agege)
3 Lagos three (claiming Lagos e.g mowe, Agbada crossing)

Only those in Lagos can understand that

Why are they now crying out. You just said it yourself, the contractor made drainage and the market people decided to build shops on it. Everything is not about government abeg, we are our own problems and solutions.

I am sure there are market leaders in place, let them do the needful. Send those whose shops are on the drainage away once their rent expires, demolish the shops and pay to unclog and clear the drainage. All the market levies they collect can do that.

This is part of the reason why I feel local government should be scrapped, they're totally useless!

I thought market traders clear the drainage every Thursday. How are they even comfortable displaying their wares in the midst of all that filthy puddle?

It should be the other way round actually. The more reason why autonomy should be granted to local governments.Things like this should be addressed and paid for from the local government account without waiting for approval from the state government

bullion van Tinubu will only be milking Lagos treasury dry. Where's sanwolu projects here. If Ambode's allowed to do his second term , Infact Ambode will have done extremely well in government.

Wetin concern you with Lagos wahala? Wetin concern you about who be Lagos governor? Go to your Biafran Republic of Drugs and Crime, you can go and make Ambode your governor, he is a criminal just as all of you in your potopoto republic. If Ambode had worked on Jankara Market, would it be like that?

How I wish you will go to my own state and expose the rot in there instead of concentrating on Lagos. Maybe the stupid leaders over there will be ashamed and sit up.
Stop showing these issues of Lagos please, a lot of people don't appreciate it. They would rather conceal it and suffer in silence than exposing the rot. They think they are doing others, they don't know they are doing themselves.

ZzZzzzzzzzzzzzz:
I hope things get better .this could be solved with good drainage system
Plastic bottles and nylon bags in the drainage.
That's what is blocking the existing drainage.
So immediately stop the production of plastic bottles from every industry.
