I agree with you on we Igbos disrespecting our hosts. But I disagree with the rest. Firstly, this bitter competitiveness between Igbos and Yorubas has being ongoing right from time. Don't act as though, you wouldn’t have done the same if it were your tribe that won. After all it was you people who first came out to brag about your educational feats and achievements. So expect the people who are seeking to replace you to always celebrate the “little” wins that would later prove monumental.

Also every tribe in Nigeria brags. Those that have numbers for politics brag about it and will tell you that they’re born to rule you. Those that have oil? Same thing. Those that have federal capital territory or former capital territory, will also brag with it and even go as far as undermining the contributions of other tribes in the region. Don't act as if only Igbos are known for this.

Which of the northern Nigeria? You’re confusing Fulani votes with northern votes. The north is largely heterogeneous with different demographic and ethnic backgrounds. Different ideologies, different religions, different cultures. Different political opinions. Who and who make up your “north”?

The opinion of the northerner from sokoto is not the same as the one from plateau, which in turn, differs from that of Adamawa. Saying “the north will not vote for you” immediately invokes the question: who’s north?
