Sports / Re: Better Systems Of Making Money In Betting Than The ACCUMULATOR! by biggybig(f): 6:17pm On Feb 11, 2016 |
OF BETTING SYSTEMS AND STRATEGIES.... 'This is no longer betting but a business with a daily yield of 20%'. That was the first statement I saw when I opened to a particular bet and stats analysis site. And it is true, most of the predictions on their site had up to 90% success rate! Now that's much higher than any other sites I had visited in the past! Most good betting sites records average 60-70% success rate with their predictions, and still that is good! Now here is a good point to ponder, no betting site can boast of a 100% success rate! No one! And that is what an accumulator system requires all the time: 100% at all times! And this is where the odds is stacked against an average bettor who knows only the accumulator system of betting. If punting must be an online business for you accumulator can not be your only betting strategy. With the accumulator system you can't make the 20% daily profit mentioned at the beginning of this article. TOPE VS DAVID To understand this better let us contrast two punters, Tope and David who placed bet on the same games but engage in different strategy/ system. TOPE BETTING SLIP A - 1.67√ B - 1.57√ C - 1.73√ D - 2.00√ E - 1.52√ F - 2.10√ G - 1.82√ H - 1.55× Total odds: 81.69 Stake: N4000 Expected return: N326751 *the games Tope played are represented with letter a-h for brevity but are actual games played between 25th-30th of July across the leagues Result: All the games on the ticket won except the last game. And so as it is with every accumulator one game loss spoils the whole party! So instead of making over three hundred thousand Tope has just lost N4000! Now let's look at David's DAVID'S BETSLIP A - 1.67√ B - 1.57√ C - 1.73√ D - 2.00√ E - 1.52√ F - 2.10√ G - 1.82√ H - 1.55× Since they both played the same games David also lost the last game on his ticket, but the difference here is that David played each of this game as SINGLES! In singles, the fate of one bet doesn't affect the fate of the other, every of the game is staked individually and so result is individual. David therefore staked N500 each on the singles in his betting slip and here was the result. A - 1.67× 500=835 B - 1.57×500=785 C - 1.73×500=865 D - 2.00×500=1000 E - 1.52×500=760 F - 2.10×500=1050 G - 1.82×500=910 H - 1.55×500 X = 0 Total stake: 4000 Total Return: 6205 Profit: 2205 N2205 profit may not look as big as N300k plus, but I will rather win N2205 everyday than lose N4000 everyday! And N2205 everyday makes over N60k per month. Not bad for a side income. visits betsmart24..com for our daily tips 3 Likes |
Sports / Better Systems Of Making Money In Betting Than The ACCUMULATOR! by biggybig(f): 10:29am On Feb 09, 2016 |
THE 'ACCUMULATOR TRAGEDY'! Everyone would love to wake up and find out that their 1.5million bet slip game has actually won. Wow! Its nothing short of a miracle to win 1.5million with just N200 naira! I look forward to that, but we all know this kind of miracles happens once in a while. For every one person that has won a N1million betting slip there are over ten thousand others who has failed in their bid to do so. Football is a game of predictable patterns and stats! But much more football is also a game of upsets. Every week their is always one game or the other that will defy established pattern or stats. In other words their will always be upsets in football and in football betting. It is this singular factor that makes the failure of the ACCUMULATOR system of betting so pronounced. Except on a lucky day or weekend their is always that one game that defies the odd and spoils your winning party , and painfully sometimes it could be the last game on your slip, lost in the last minute of a particular match! How many of you know what am talking about, you are just waiting for that one game to click and then that one game end up becoming the losing guy! It could be painful! Simply put, the ACCUMULATOR system of betting leaves no room for even the slightest error! Its got to be 100% right at all times! Now who can be 100% right at all times? No one, I believe! Except God! Not winning any of your 15-20games accumulator slip has nothing to do with any witch in your village or your lack of luck! Its just reality! Its a tough ask predicting 20games in a volatile game like football and expecting all to go as you predicted. It does happen but only once in every 100 attempt and that is if you are lucky! Having said this there are still guys whose daily business is football punting! Everyday they make money predicting matches just like you! Yes but they don't use the same ACCUMULATOR system you use. There are betting systems that allows as much room as 10-30% error and still gives you profit daily! What system you use determines what result you get. Yea it's all about your system and the strategy you adopt. With good strategies you can avoid football betting tragedies - the tragedy of always failing because of just one or two games! follow me on our blog for other systems for making money in betting other than the accumulator system betsmart24..com 2 Likes |

Actually, the pusher is safe because the stone pushed is lighter and cannot lift the other stone. For the same reason, C is very much safe. B is most likely to be saved because of the angle of projection. A is the only one not safe. The rolled ball might hit him. |

Happy new month to all fans of Soccertalk, thanks to all for keeping it real with us thus far. The new month starts on a footballing note and so an opportunity to add a few thousands to your account this weekend. Here is our top picks for the weekend@betsmart. 1. EVERTON VS SWANSEA When Everton are at home, goals are a guarantee: nobody has generated as many goals in front of their own fans as the Toffees, with games at Goodison Park averaging of 5.25 goals scored. Moreover, 10 of Swansea's last 12 away games have seen both teams score. Barring any upset expect to see the following in this match *Both teams to score@ 1.70 *over 1.5goals@ 1.22 *over 2.5goals@ 1.75 Pick your betting choice relative to the level of risk you are willing to take. 2. ARSENAL VS BURNLEY Arsenal come into this game after a decent run of 2 successive victories after losing and drawing a lot of games in the middle. They have finally.returned to some scoring form, netting 2 in their last 3 games in a row now, and will be looking to repeat a similar performance to the 2-0 over Sunderland last week. Burnley have been struggling, look certain for the drop in my eyes, having not won a single game so far this campaign. They got trounced 3-1 by West Ham and Everton at home, so expect a similar kind of performance as they travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal. Burnley have conceded 16 goals in 9 games, and the Arsenal attack will be licking their lips to win this game in order to push into the top four. I see an Arsenal win here *Arsenal straight win@ 1.30 *Arsenal double chance@ 1.07 *Arsenal to win and by over 1.5goals@ 1.35 3. MAN.CITY VS MAN.UTD Derbies are always unpredictable, lot of factors determines the end result. But one sure thing about a derby is that they are always fiery! Tackles flighs high and hard, temper boils and cards are shown. Derby like any game involving two top teams or rivals always produces caution and cards. The last time City hosted Chelsea here over 11 cards were shown. Last week when United hosted Chelsea over 7+ cards were shown. There may be goals here but not as certain as cards. *over 3.5cards@ 1.16 *over 4.5cards@ 1.40 *over 5.5cards@ 1.85 Choose according to risk level 4. SAMPDORIA VS FIORENTINA Here is a game between two of most defensively organised teams in Serie A - but that doesn't necessarily mean being a defensive team. Mihajlovic has built an intense Sampdoria team who press from the front, while Montella has concentrated more on his team's defence this season and that has cost them goals of their own. Sampdoria have the best home defence in Serie A - only 1 goal conceded; Fiorentina have the the 2nd best away - 4 goals conceded. The teams have played 18 league games between them this season, with 14 of them going under 2.5. *Under 2.5goals@ 1.65 *Under 3.5goals@ 1.22 *Under 1.5goals in 1st half@ 1.35 5. ATHLETIC BILBAO VS SEVILLA On current form, these two teams are miles apart. The hosts currently sit just 3 points above the relegation zone, while Sevilla come into the fixture 2nd in La Liga on goal difference. Sevilla should nick a win here *Sevilla straight win@ 2.90 *Sevilla double chance@ 1.50 *Sevilla with 2goals headstart/handicap and to win.@ 1.16 ....read for more tips@ www.facebook.com/ soccertalknews |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / What Makes A Player The Most Complete Player? by biggybig(f): 5:51pm On Jul 30, 2014 |
Who is the most complete player in the world? That for me is a diffucult question to answer because the answer to this question will depend on what parameters and measures you use in measuring the completeness of a player. But if you are Mark Doyle of Goal.com that is not a difficult question to answer after all: it is Cristiano Ronaldo! According to Mark Doyle he is probably the most complete player in history! And this is based on the fact that he 'has a perfect blend of physicality and technique'. And much of Doyle's article pays glowing tribute to Ronaldo's physicallity and hardwork. Here i quote Doyle: " Physically, he is almost beyond compare. At 1.85 centimetres tall and weighing 80 kilograms, he boasts the optimum fusion of power and speed that comes with the frame of super-middleweight boxer. His upper-body strength is such that he only ever goes down of his own accord, while his sprinter-like thighs not only generate sufficient force to strike the ball just as explosively with either foot, but also provide the springboard for leaps of astounding height and sustained hang time. That he is also one of the most accomplished headers of a ball in world football is testament to another attribute, and this time of the mental variety: his dedication to his profession." Well said Doyle, but if football is about how well a player is built i can point to a 1000 players that are equally well built like Ronaldo! Even the guy who trains behind my neighbourhood can boast of better physique! But does that make him the most complete player in history? Certainly no! It can be argued however that Ronaldo has reached the peak of the game and won almost anything that there is to win, but saying he is the most complete based on just his physique is no argument! Am wondering what is the essence of this well built physique when this great footballer goes down at the slightest touch? Despite his physique Ronaldo is one of the most 'complete divers' the game has ever known! I prefer Messi's short physique, not well built, yes! But even with six players all around him he still holds on to the ball! Now that is when your physique counts! Same goes for Thiery Henry, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Brazilian Ronaldo. These are all great players with great physique but who unlike CR7 do not easily go down on the ball! And yet these players exudes far more class, touch and technique on the ball! Am not going to talk about the argument on technique, because the most ardent CR7 fans knows he isn't the most technical player out there! No need going into that argument! The issue at stake here is Doyle has picked the wrong parameters in declaring Ronaldo the most complete player in history. It is not technique, it is not physicallity neither is it mentality. For in all these categories there are players who did better than Ronaldo. Pele, Maradona, Platini, Zidane, Ronaldo De lima, Ronaldinho and of Lionel Messi are players that comes to mind. Winning mentality, unique and unbelievable technique, they have all got these better than Ronaldo! They may not be as tall as Ronaldo or maybe of equal physique like him; but unlike Ronaldo they are not serial divers! These are not athletes but football artists who are both good on and off the ball! And this is where the technique rating comes to play, all the aforementioned players are great with the ball. Space or no space Messi, Maradona, Platini, Henry will create amazing stuffs and magic! Give these players space and you have handed them double advantage! This is where Ronaldo's game is lacking technically and cannot compare with these other greats; Ronaldo is only useful when there is space to run into! Close the space and Ronaldo is no better than Usain Bolt- a sprinter, an athlete! This is the x factor that his games lacks, that 'little thing/edge' that Messi has that he does not possess. It is this x factor that makes it easy for players like Messi, Maradona, Ronaldinho to shine in games even when they ain't scoring goals. There superior techniques on the ball allows them to pick out a pass, an assist, many dribbles, set up their teammates even in close spaces! This is what Ronaldo games lacks and what will always make many legends, coaches and ex footballer considered him second rated to Messi and the original Ronaldo! If Doyle is looking for a better blend of technique and physique in action he should look at the little Argentine goal against Bosnia: shrugging off defenders in tight spaces, dribble past a couple, exchange a one two, and executed a perfect finish! Now that was technique and physique perfectly blended! Or betterstill Ronaldinho cheeky goal against Chelsea at Stamford bridge. Crowded by many players, but shrugging off them with his physique and executing a perfect finishing with his technique, now you cannot get a better goal! However you can only find such goals in few numbers in Ronaldo's archive! Yes you will see lot of explosive 40yarders and 30yarders, explosive headers and lot of taps in. Yes these are great goals that demonstrates Ronaldo's explosive physicallity on the ball. But plays and goals that combines both physique and technique? That you will find in few numbers. But these kind of goals are the hallmarks of the careers of players like Messi, Maradona, Platini, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo De Lima etc(well a quick trip to youtube will help you verified this) Based on Doyle's premise of 'Physicallity and Technicallity' these are the most complete players in history and not Ronaldo! However to the question of who is the most complete player in history? I believe no one is! Its like asking the question who is the most perfect human being on the earth? Am yet to find one. Am of the opinion players don't have to be complete to be great footballers and be successful! However if we are to measure the most complete player on the earth i believe there are better parameters to use than just technique and physique. *The most complete player would be a player who can do what every player can do on the pitch: a) Attack. Midfield. Defend. In other words such a player should be able to play as a defender, midfielder and attacker. Utility players are the most complete players out there. Unfortunately Ronaldo isn't one but Gullit was, Lothar Mattheus was, Luis Enrique was also one and host of many players that we can't possibly list here. All these players can fill out for different positions on the pitch whether in attack, defence or midfield. These are the complete players. b) Shoot. Pass. Dribble. This is another way of looking at the completeness of a player. The ability to be able to do well all the 3 things a player is required to do on the pitch. All other skills in football are secondary for an outfield player. Every other thing you do on the pitch only helps you to be able to do these three well. You can run with the ball but you can't do this for 90minutes, a point comes where you either shoot, dribble or pass the ball, its that simple! Any player who excells at the 3 can be said to be complete! As such there are many other than Ronaldo who excels at these and who has won as much as he had over their careers! Unfortunately for Ronaldo he is an excellent shooter of the ball but an average dribbler and passer! Hence not the most complete. These parameters above in my opinion and from the comment of many fans and pundits over the years on this debate are far more objective parameters for measuring the 'completeness of a player'; far better than the argument of scoring with both legs and head. For all these as wonderful as they are just one aspect of the game - shooting! Maybe we should say Ronaldo is the most complete shooter of the ball, that i will not argue against! - PAB |

- PAB |
Sports / Why Messi Deserved The Golden Ball by biggybig(f): 1:23pm On Jul 14, 2014 |
WHATS CONTROVERSIAL ABOUT MESSI WINNING THE GOLDEN BALL? Long before the semi final matches were played i knew there was no other person more suited and worthy for the Golden Ball award other than Messi, he alone and with Mascherano supporting, dragged an ordinary looking Argentina team to the World cup final! No other player has had such collosal influence on their teams fortune since 1986 when Maradona, the Argentine legend Messi looks to emulate, did the same in 1986 winning the world cup all by himself for the nation. It came as no suprise then that he scooped the award on a night that what really matters to Messi wasn't the award but the world cup itself. What came as a suprise, however was how the decision to award Messi the golden ball was derided as controversial and a compensation to Messi for not winning the world cup. Nothing could be further from the truth. Stats and facts points to no other worthy winner than Messi. Below are the factors that makes him one. *LEADERSHIP&IMPACT - Without Messi's influence Argentina wouldn't have made it past the group stage. Of the 6goals Argentina scored at the group stage Messi was responsible for four, representing over 67% of the teams effort. Robben, the dutch who came third in the running for the golden ball award scored 3 and assisted 1 out of the 10goals Netherland scored at the group stage, that amounts to 40% contribution of his team efforts while Muller did much better scoring 4 of Germany's 7goals accounting for 57% of of his team's total output. All these 3 contenders has their biggest influence during the group stages of the competition just like you would expect more goals to be scored at the group stage than at the knockout stage! Would Germany have gone this far without Muller? Yes they would have done so! Thank God for all of Mullers goal but this team could have called on podolski, klose, Schurrle and they would have delivered. Holland needs Robben, but they needed their coach Louis van Gaal much more to have gotten this far. His tactics and ability to manage this young group of players got Holland this far more than Robbens goal, but then Holland still had Rvp, Dempay and Sneijder who equally did their part. However same could not be said of Argentina, up until Di maria's goal against Switzerland, it looks as though it was only Messi that was interested in playing for Argentina. Make no mistake about this, apart from the goals he scored, Messi was at the heart of 80% Argentina did positively at the World Cup. No one has had greater impacts on his team fortune than the little Argentine. *KNOCKOUT DEBATE One of the argument against Messi winning the Golden Ball was the fact that he registered no goal at the knockout stages of the world cup. Its a fact, but this award isn't for the highest goal scorer, its for the best player of the tournament and you don't need to score goals to be the best player of the tournament. Messis assist against Switzerland was crucial in getting them to the quarterfinal and against Belgium he held off the challenges of 2players ran into space, release Di maria who released Higuain for the goal, that was a crucial build up to the goal. Yes he didn't scored but he had moments that without them otherwise would have seen Argentina going home. If Messi didn't deserve the award due to his knockout stages performance why then should Robben deserves it? What did Robben did at the Knockout stages of the competition that Messi didn't do? Nothing. Well he did something, he dived for the penalty that got Holland the win against Mexico! Other than that he had no output, no moment that counted. All his 3goals and 1 assists also came in the group stage of the competition! Someone might say Robben troubled defences, so did Messi who was the dribbling master of the competition completing 46dribbles. He is also the tournament top chance creator with 23! So in what way was Robben better than Messi in this competition? In all the statistics that counts, Messi trumps Robben. James Rodriguez scored 3 at the knockout stages but i cant recollect the last time the golden ball was won by a player whose team didn't made it past the quarter final! If you are that good then you should take your team far...simple! Messi carried his team, Rodriguez didn't. MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD Four man of the match award must count for something right? Especially when no other player matched that feat. Robben had 3Motm in this competition, one less than Messi who added a fourth one at the knockout stage. That surely counts! ...READ MORE www.soccertalknews..com or liked the page www.facebook.com/soccertalknews |

Sports / France Vs Nigeria - Stats Preview, Predictions And Betting Tips by biggybig(f): 3:25pm On Jun 30, 2014 |
FRANCE VS NIGERIA - STATS PREVIEW *This will be only the second international meeting between France and Nigeria. The Super Eagles won the previous meeting 1-0 in Saint-Etienne back in June 2009. *Les Blues have lost two of their last three World.Cup matches against African nations (2002 v Senegal and 2010 v South Africa). They beat Togo between these two defeats, in 2006. *Nigeria have scored a goal in all but one of their previous 10 World Cup finals matches against European sides. *The Super Eagles are aiming to become just the fourth African side to make the quarter finals of a World Cup tournament (after Cameroon in 1990, Senegal in 2002 and Ghana in 2010). *Nigeria have only won one of their last 11 World Cup matches. *Nigeria have lost both of their previous World Cup second round ties – 1-2 v Italy in 1994 and 1-4 v Denmark in 1998. *All of France’s goals during this World Cup have come from inside the box. *France have won all three of their previous second round ties at the World Cup (2-0 v Italy in 1986, 1-0 v Paraguay in 1998 and 3-1 v Spain in 2006). *Les Blues attempted more shots at goal (50; excl. blocked) than any other side during the 2014 World Cup group stages. *Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper during the 2013-14 French Ligue 1 season for Lille. *On the last five occasions that France have progressed past round 1 in the World Cup, they have reached the semi-final stage (1958, 1982, 1986, 1998 and 2006). *Karim Benzema has scored nine goals in his last nine appearances for France, including three goals in his three appearances at this World Cup. GAME ANALYSIS *France should dominate this game in terms of possession, with Nigeria happy to sit back and counter as they did against Argentina last time out. *Les Bleus may find it hard to break down a compact defence but should have their chances, with the likes of Valbuena and Benzema in particular in confident mood. *It's been an impressive start to the tournament from Deschamps' side but their centre-backs will need to be up for the battle against Emenike, who spearheads a powerful Nigeria team. PREDICTION France played very well in their opening two games, beating Honduras 3-0 and thrashing Switzerland 5-2. Their last group game ended 0-0 with Ecuador and the French did try hard to win that game, but just could not break down a stubborn Ecuador side. Nigeria were poor in their opening two games, drawing with Iran and somehow pulling off a 1-0 win over a poor Bosnia team in that game. Nigeria however played very well against Argentina, although losing 2-3 they managed two goals against an excellent Argentina side. If they are fully motivated for this one they may score against France. Switzerland showed how France's defence may have some weakness. However given France's attacking power and Nigeria's inability to defend well at times, we're going for a France win. WHAT IS YOUR OWN PREDICTION? BETTING TIPS *France straight win is a 65% probability, a draw 25% while a Nigeria win is 10% *Benzema has scored 3 goals in his last 3 world cup matches for France, there is a high chance of him nicking one here. Benzema to score any time is a good bet here. *France has averaged over 2goals in their last 3WC games while Nigeria has average 1goal. Nigeria's defence hasn't been the best conceding over 40+ shots at the group stage. France are a bit better but not the strongest at the back too as exposed by the Switz, expect at least over 1.5goals from this match. ...read more at soccertalknews..com |

Not sure anyone of you here has been in any leadership position you would have known how hard it is to command such legendary loyalty. What makes a leader command such legendary loyalty? Impact! Whats the difference between that and what you pay at lasu? Have u ever been to the school and see the quality that is on ground? Relative to what the school provides, 350 is paltry. If any organisation, goverment provide that much they will be charging in millions. And you think its that paltry amount paid that they use to run the school and buy jet? You need your head re examined. |
