See person wey all his Political office holders are resigning from his Government. Three commissioners resigned from Obaseki's Government yesterday. The Commissioner of information, SSG, Chief of staff and other big officers resigned sometimes back. This speaks volume about Obaseki and his Government.
Obaseki is like a sinking Ship.

I read your submission and you didn't quite strike the nail on the head. Obaseki is a hardsell and that is his undoing. He failed to carry state party leaders along and made a mess of peace moves by the Oba of Benin and State traditional rulers. He openly said Edo is not Lagos, and announced his defection from the APC at, of all places, the presidential villa. To cap off his political naivety, he announced that some APC governors are supporting him even after he defected to the PDP. Even if some APC governors supported him, they'd back out because they also have to consider their political future. A seasoned politician does not talk much even when he is performing, imagine if Tinubu is garrulous or Wike or Osinbajo. Obaseki talks too much and it was easy to neutralise him.

If only to teach Obaseki the lesson that you don't mess up people that supported you to become governor, it would be difficult for him to win that election.

Leave Tinubu out of this.

PDP and Wike knew that Obaseki won't win, they are only with him to help loot Edo treasury. If say Obaseki doesn't have access to Edo treasury by now, all those supporting him will flee. To make matters worst for him, he has no projects to his credit. He was busy propagating hate and lies about how Oshiomole is a Godfather grin

, at the time that he was expectelected to give Edo people the dividends of Democracy.

As regards the few projects he is claiming (which are not up to 5), All he does was to repaint an existing Government structure, then count that as his major achievement.

A Government where the SSG, Chief of staff, Commissioner of information, and other Government officials resigned, Is that one a competent Government? In few weeks time, more top Government officials in this Government will resign and he will be left with his PDP tax collectors grin

. Cause they've seen the handwriting on the wall, there is no magic Obaseki can use to win this election.

A Governor who spend 4 years without having a single project to his credit, is that one a Governor? All he does is to renovate an existing Government structure and claims it to be his major achievement. Edo people are wiser now.
