No! I applied from Nigeria. I think you should allow her fill the form and you guys should apply from Togo. But guess being a couple will make it easier.

Bro am in Togo as well and I think the best thing to do is find any of these Solicitors offices around and tell them to guide you. I would have helped you find out but I hardly speak the French and their language. Since you have been here that long I believe you could either speak French or their language so its best you enquire from a solicitor yourself so they guide you.
Meanwhile am still shocked oooo how you take catch American woman for this Togo so? You are lucky ooo most whites I see are French or Lebanese and this their language thing is just a big wahala. Though am trying to work out France papers for me and my Togolese baby mama to move out of here.

I have just been denied a Visa to France by the France embassy on the ground that 'Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided', how do I make an appeal.

There are many websites where you can book your hotel online - booking.com, agoda.com, hotels.com and many others. I used booking for my wife.

You can get the questionnaire online. Also you can buy it at visa application center on the day of submission. It cost N150 at submission center

Don't forget about
- letter from your employer
- cover letter
- You will need to fill out France Visa questionnaire

After filling out your application then take the application and your documents to Visa Application center for submission. Right now you can actually do walk in

you don't have to book appointment with the embassy, when your documents are complete, you go there and submit.

What else is needed and how do I book for an appointment with the embassy?

You will first sort out your documents-:

If you are employed -
You will need a letter from your employer
You will need your payslip to show your source of income
Also you will need your 3 months bank statement.

Also you might want to include any documents that will aid your application - like documents showing that you own property.

Also you must be able to convince them you are coming home after your visit.

I came down to Lagos to submit my application for myself and two kids but I was asked to come back on the 18 July based on appointment but I pleaded with them at vfs that I already booked my flight back to my base they now accepted it. So I ran out of cash after the visa fee. And I could not pay for the courier to send it to me. I came in today to Lagos to pick up the passport and it was approved.
