Please, I need advise from anyone who knows about this.

I need only the month and day on my passport to be corrected. The year is correct. Can it be done in other states? How long does it take and what will be the cost?
TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Bigplans2020: 12:32am On Jun 16, 2020
Hello Everyone,

I am a mother of 4, planning to relocate to the UK from Nigeria before December 31st this year, as I plan to apply for pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme.

I have an Irish citizen son who just turned 17, and 3 other children who are Non-EU. I would appreciate some advice on how to proceed with regards to the following:

1. Safe and inexpensive place to live. I have been considering boroughs around Manchester

2. Low rent housing

3. School for my children aged 14, 12, and 10

4. Things I can do for income until I get my approval, as I gather it can take a long time

Any other general advice on how to settle in will be appreciated.
TravelEu Settlement Scheme - Parent Of Eu Citizen Child Living In Nigeria by Bigplans2020(op): 8:25pm On Mar 20, 2020
Hello People,

I presently reside in Nigeria with my Irish citizen child, who is 16 years old. I plan on traveling to the UK in July to apply for pre-settled status under the Eu Settlement Scheme. I will be going with my 3 other children who are not EU citizens.

I also plan on residing in Manchester. Is this a good location for a young family and which areas are safe and affordable to live in?

Again will it be better to apply for the long stay Irish visa? I hear it takes a very long time to get a response. My child will be 17 this year and I need to get this done before he is 18.

Please I need to hear from people in a similar situation or who have some knowledge/experience on the this. I would appreciate your advice, tips, suggestions and ideas.

Thank you.
