Compiler is program that translate programs written in HLL into its machine equivalent code. Long story short, it's a translator.

As for BASIC, if u're working with QBASIC you need an ITERPRETER rather than compiler.

It started by blinking untill it finally got off.
The screen displays but the back light is off. The system works correctly with normal CRT or any external screen. What do you suggest?

Designer decides how the page would look like, DEVELOPER determines the funtion of the web site.

So, i can say "Web Designer can work with or without a web Developer or the idea, and come out with a static website." While a web Developer needs some designing skill or probably work with a designer to come out with a nicee looking functioning website" Because many people will judge based on what they see, no matter how hell you might have coded.

Well, i'd never seen 2008 interface, but 2005 is my daily work area.
All I do is to create a class and have methods for every operation like inserting and others where i use SQL parameter for the all the controls inputs.
whenever i call the method, the controls' value would the supplied as arguement to the method which inturn do the require operation on the value.
