does it prompt you through a toast message or it just shuts down? Does it shut down normally, abruptly or with a bsod?

are you sure you have the drivers installed? what is the specification of your laptop? mpot laptops nowadays come with bluetooth hardware. if you are sure, then you will have to purchase a bluetooth dongle at the rate not higher than 500 Naira.

does the erratic movement of your mouse cursor stop when you unplug the adapter from the laptop? if yes, try anther matching adapter and get back to me.

The flexible cable (flex) connecting your screen to the motherboard is probably bad or perhaps, you may have a bad screen but according to the picture you posted, i would tackle it in that particular order.

Usually, it gets turned on when you toggle the Fn+F2 key combination (just like wireless LAN). You should be able to enable the bluetooth radio by right-clicking the bluetooth icon in the system tray as well. If it isn't showing up anywhere in Windows, make sure it is enabled in the BIOS (F2 at the Dell splash screen just after powering on the computer).

it is possible to repair the battery. I do that for sure. Go to device manager and check if the bluetooth radio have anything like a yellow question mark.

try installing your chipset and graphics drivers. That can be downloaded from the manufacturers website.

I'm not in ib, however, I can find details about the socket type of the motherboard to know which type you'll purchase, the price of a 2gb ram, you'll have to keep the other ram stick, and the price of the hard drive and the external casing. Are you on bbm?

okay, you'll need to upgrade your processor to nothing less than core i5 and your ram to at least 4gb. Your hard drive is OK, but considering the fact that you are trying to venture into video editing, you need 1tb,the former 500gb hard drive can be used as an external drive for backup and the likes.

ok, whenever it starts the startup repair, long press the power button to aggressively shut down the system,then power back on.
It should list those options and mode suggestions and complain before booting so you select safe mode.
