First I want to start by saying condemning an entire group of people based on the actions a few thousand is very wrong, threatening an entire group of people based on the actions of a few is literal madness. To rub salt to injury the yoruba man who is on a stolen mandate when it is the turn of igbos is denying igbos their fair share in everything in governance all to the cheers or absolute crickets from the rest of yoruba land. Igbo people have only 5 Ministers, compared to 7 or 9 in other regions, President is only employing primarily his tribesmen and then a few fulanis. Even the student loan, they skipped the South East, and their online trolls where telling igbos to go collect their from Peter Obi. We saw how that yoruba organisation drafted proposal for regionalism and submitted to Tinuba and in the proposal they carved out large sections of Imo State to be placed into SS while they carved large sections of Delta and Kogi and Kwara to be placed in the SW. Imagine the provocation!!!This was done after the war and decades after during state creations to many igbo communities who now lay displaced across multiple states and regions.

Once again to clarify the air on this issue while there might have been a very very tiny minority of ikwerre people in the 40s and 50s who thought or consider themselves to not be ibos(especially the ogbakiri because of their dissatisfaction with aros coming to sit atop every meetings) majority over 98% of the ikwerre people were very happy with their ibo identity. This identity crisis started when the Nigerian government thought it as a better way to weaken the Igbo ethnicity by using paid shills and propaganda machines to perpetuate the belief that certain distinct Igbo groups within access of crude oil or water are a different ethnicity. Those who were willing to stand on this propaganda were rewarded very well with contracts. Even the Masters of this propaganda would never have thought that this madness will continue up until now. At this point it doesn't even make any sense to any learned person today, more of an issue of when you tell a lie long enough it starts becoming the truth. Nigeria remained a country, every other Nigerian sees ikwerre people as Igbo people, but in order to continue to taunt the entire Igbo people in this post war antics they are very happy to welcome and reward any Igbo politician who comes out and speak openly that he is not Igbo.

Also in States where Igbo ethnicities share the state with other ethnicities the Igbo speaking groups are very bullied by other groups when they try to identify as igbo. This is helping to normalize the falsehood.

Those saying Okrika is not ijaw, is not true. We can say alot of igbo people migrated to Okrika, but the Okrika people are offsprings of awoba, one of the progenators of the ijaw race. However Opobo people and the Bonny people are Hybrid group whose ancestry would be mostly 80 percent or more igbo, and the land itself was ruled by igbo kings and their decendants throughout.
